Thanks. It is 100% solar during the day and 60% when the sun goes down. However, the battery usually dies around 11-12 at night and that is when I use Ghana electricity.
Will add more batteries later on to go completely off grid.

This is definitely high class living and not for the average Ghanaian whose income is about 2,000-5,000 GHC working in the formal sectors. No wonder many are into starting multiple side gigs. I live in USA and I don’t even spend $2,000 on rent per month. That’s just too much for housing in Ghana. It’s best to build your own all the same.

This is interesting. I have a bachelor’s degree and work at a hospital here in Ghana, however my colleagues and I with the same qualification ( nurses, midwifes, nutritionist, radiologist, etc ) earn about 3000-4000 cedis a month.
So that means we are also below the middle class or even lower. This is hitting me hard, I feel so sad right now.

Most rent is paid 1-2 years ahead. The biggest expenditure. Most have access to food from their own or family farms or should if they don’t. Let’s parent opportunity to help people live well without the high dependence on the Industrial Labour machine. In Ghana access to land is so damn easy.
