Kinda true but at the same time also kinda false... I don't know about the subscriber numbers but I got here when the "new" video of his stolen Mercedes ML went online and I got stuck for the nerdy rich boy using his money to have some fun with affordable cars. Unfortunately the affordable cars got switched to Ferraris, Lambos, Rolls Royces a.s.o.
He still does the same thing but the cars have changed to a point where I don't connect with the guy on camera , but that's just my 2cts.

my grandma got ill and it was so quick. Diagnosed with cancer and died in two weeks. I was working 6 days a week at some dead end job and only got to go see her once before she passed. She was so medicated up she fell asleep i was holding her hand and spending the day with her as well. I left to get a haircut not thinking only a week later she would pass away, a huge regret of mine. She did so much for me and my family growing up. I almost cried man, may our grams rest in heaven. You prob wont see this but keep it up hoovie you inspire me!

Hoovie - please keep on sharing stories like the one about your grandmother. This is some real heartfelt stuff that is awesome and refreshing to see. It's just wholesome and honest and unpolished - it's really what I think separates you from other TH-camrs. My grandmother drove a 95 Plymouth Acclaim (aka Dodge Spirit) and it got me into Mopars. She loved that car and it was one of the best vehicles we ever owned. Went from Yarmouth, Nova Scotia all the way to Vancouver, then to Saugus, California. That car saw some amazing memories.
I have a 1 year old son and I will now live by making sure i take him to as many places as possible. That really hit me with your grandmom and we just returned from a Kentucky to Arizona and back road trip.
I will make sure I will give my son that same thing your grandmother gave you.

RIP Grandma Hoovie. I was so teary listening to how you spoke of her. She sounded like an exceptional woman. I learned lesson just from listening to how she raised you, with experiences and travel. Really good for broadening children's horizons and thus why you lead with your head into anything, or any car I should say. Although you may bump your head occasionally, you still continue to keep going. Again RIP Grandma Hoovie, you moulded us an inspirational character for us to enjoy online.

Tyler, I'm seeing this video for the first time today. I'm so sorry for the loss of your grandmother. I had a close relationship with my grandparents, too, and still miss them even though they've been gone for over 12 years. They were the ones that took me on the subway in Chicago, took me to see the loop and Navy Pier and got me to enjoy classical music, gadgets and the smell of old brownstones in the city. I got them to laugh by talking to strangers in elevators or saying hi to people as we would drive by with the windows rolled down. I'm glad that you had the time with your grandmother. That's wonderful you had that relationship and you'll have it to pass along to your kids as well.
You are a great grandson, great father, and just a great person in general. Your grandmother is so very proud of the person that you've become. You can tell by thise pictures that she is. We, your subscribers, are proud of you. You keep doing your thing. You have a fan for life from me for sure!

I came here to remark the same. I know not everyone in life has the opprutunity to spend time with their grandparents. My granddad passed away on my birthday in September. He taught me how to drive in his 89 LeSabre and we normally went for a drive whenever I visited. How I wish I could go for another ride, listening to his stories for Okinawa and Iwo Jima. Hoovie - you have a fantastic channel, that provides great entertainment . Keep doing what you’re doing. And congratulations on the mile marker achievement!!

This is the first video of yours that I've seen. I am now a subscriber. I love the sentiment about your grandmother. Of course I didn't know your grandmother, but I'm sure she's proud of you. She passed at what seems like a ripe old age, surrounded by love. And that's all that anyone can ask for. It's certainly how I hope to go some day.
Tyler is someone I find admirable in the sense that its refreshing to see someone with a passion for the automobile. Though other car vloggers are big for their expensive taste or wild builds. Tyler is an excellent example of whether you drive a junked out Toyota Camry or a Bugatti Chiron; it doesn't matter what you're driving as long as 'you are' driving. The amount of connections one can have with a car is impeccable, the amount of appreciating one can have for a car is unimaginable. Yet Tyler, like many real car guys, don't get "tired" or "need something faster" when there is actually a connection with the car. This is why I'm a big fan of Hoovies Garage, it's not about the number of cars, it's not about the newest most exciting vehicle out there. It's about seeing the true passion, the true love story between man and machine; where heartbeat and timing match and the road carries on forever. Don't ever find cars to fill your life, let life fill cars of you.

Yep, you brought tears to my eyes too talking about your Grandma. I had a special Grandma, too. She lived to be almost 99 and a few years before she passed away we embarked on "The Great Grandma Roadtrip of 2007". Took her from Chicago back to Newton, Kansas and Yates Center for a final visit with her sister and a sister in law, then down to Georgia to visit her daughter (my Mom) and Grand Daughters and Great Grandchildren. We had a blast!
By the way, her mother (my Great Grandmother Daisy Dean Spencer) was the first female Mayor of Newton, Kansas. Small world!

Nothing will break my love for BMW I just bought one in February and in January. All year and before I told my best friend I'm getting a E38 we going to ride in that. We briefly rode in it by week two we went to oreilys and back to his house where it stopped working stayed there for some days and 3 or 5 days later he died I sold it and got my other dream chassis a E46 not a m3 but a 330ci couldn't find a coupé only a cabriolet. I love the hell out of it . I always said it better be a 330ci or M3

There will always come times you wish they could be there for, especially the most important and moments they’d be proudest of. It’s definitely tough sometimes wondering how they’d take it or react to these moments but you just gotta keep pushing and know she’s proud and she’s there in spirit. Life is way to short!

So so sorry about you losing your grandmother, its easy to see how much she meant and seeing all the traveling you guys were so lucky to do together is really special and you were both truly blessed to be so close. At least she got to see her grandson, too bad you couldnt have had more time. I was blessed with a superb mother and some equally superb aunts and uncles some of which fought and served in WWII, I think about and miss them all so much every day. Sure wish I could go back and know what I know now, id have been a far more thoughtful teenager. Youve really triggered some memories for me, and im thankful for that.

I’m very sorry to hear about your grandmother’s passing. It truly is a blessing that she got to meet your newborn son. My grandmother recently passed away, too. She had a massive stroke, but miraculously managed to regain some sense of normalcy after a month or so. She was seemingly close to fully recovered when she randomly went to the hospital in the middle of the night one night. She died from internal bleeding the next day. Just like that. I’ll always be grateful for the four extra months she fought so hard for so that we could all be together, if only just for a little while longer. I miss her all the time. It resonated strongly with me when you talked about the time you wish you had spent with your grandmother rather than working. Life gets busy, and it’s such an easy thing to put on the back burner, but none of us is guaranteed another day on this planet. Thank you for the awesome content you create and for allowing yourself to be vulnerable to your audience. I find that admirable. That was a great tribute to your grandmother, though from the sounds of it, there’s not enough words to describe what she meant to you. I pray that you feel at peace with your grandmother’s passing in due time. Many blessings to you in the future!
