I love this guy. More credit to him for being brutally honest(and self critical) while putting himself out there to what could be some cruel criticism from the gallery.
I never comment on these things but this caller is fantastic - he’s the opposite of so many “oh poor me” guys. Between this and the angle shooter that was on recently this has become even more much watch content
This guy was great. Not to sound insensitive but when he described him as a "Asian that looked 12" I had a sneaky feeling he could show up with something like that. I was thinking maybe an AQ he turned in to a bluff maybe. Grabbing chips quickly in my experience is either real strong or real weak based heavily on the person doing it. A 60 year old woman that does that and shes got 4 jacks a young Arabic kid with a fitted cap on hes got a total air ball.
@@pierrelanau3119 Both are usually aggro. Younger arab that plays PLO and owns a cell phone store will be super aggro bordering on a degenerate. Asians are a little bit more calculating but still has the ability for super aggression. Middle aged WASP nut heavy hands always even weak passive at times.
i like his turn bet quite a bit. nothing has changed. get some folds, some calls with smaller pocket pairs and draws,...hell, i know i've even folded jack-bad kicker in a multiway pot like that before, haven't you?
Why check the river in villains spot if six hundred should fold every hand in hero's range? He so credibly reps a boats. Think if he takes some time to bet 600 he gets folds like 85%+ of the time. While checking the river w 99 he probably wins the pot like 25-50% of the time maybe less tbh. BTN straddle he has every suited 8 maybe some off suit and a bunch of off suite J's and suited J's. He has so many boats that 4 combos of T9s even 16 combos of T9 he would be way under bluffing the river if you look at it in theory. Lucky river call by TT but a spew on every street in my eyes. Check call flop, turn probably goes check check and hero could block river is what should've happened.
Bart I hear you say all the time strange things happen in live poker. I totally agree with you of course but am I alone in thinking even crazier things happen online? The crap I see online, the ridiculous calls, the mentally damaged bluffs, the nuts checked by the button on the river, all of that stuff I've never seen live. I mean I had a guy call with a 4 bet and then 5 bet all in shove in front of him for 200bb+ yesterday with 1 pair, which he of course as a 24-1 dog caught runner runner straight to win a massive pot with. Does that stuff really happen live? It sure does happen online like every time I play lol Love the show btw. Ty for all the work you do!
Another call where hero plays horribly but somehow manages to win the pot, this is turning into the "wacky poker hand hour" and i dont think we are learning too much about decent strategies or poker play
Hey Bart, I’m a professional poker player in Florida who pays federal income tax as a professional gambler/poker player and finally started getting my Cares Act PUA (pandemic unemployment assistance) of $600 a week as a self employed sole proprietor. I play exclusively live poker so obviously I’m out of work. Thought it might make for a good TH-cam video topic as you always do well with helping the poker community with tax related issues. This is kinda along those lines as you have to file a federal tax return to qualify. I do not qualify for the state unemployment just the PUA.
Can you send me details on where I can find info on this to bart@crushlivepoker.com ? Specifically how the Cares act might apply to professional poker players?
Where was this game play. You said Shreveport but Shreveport/Bossier city only has 2 casinos and they almost never have NL games above 1/3. Lake charles, Choushatta Casino or NOLA is probably the only games with that big of stacks
Sean I live here in Shreveport. The weekend games routinely get quite large. 1-3s can play like agg 2-5s. I swear, sometimes the 1-3 plays like 5-10. And the 2-5 game is always deep.
Villain figured him for an 8 or an over pair when he checks the river? So he tried to bluff him off representing a J? Only thing I could figure. Or hes just a crazy player... yeah prob the latter
looking back Vs line can make sense, calls flop with 99 on J88 board, nothing crazy there,on turn hero bets, well V must think "AA,KK,QQ" might check here, even Jx might check,i dont beleive the PFR has an 8" Hero checks river basically saying he has no 8 or J,so V thinks hero is either now giving up on the bluff or maybe he did bet overpairs and has finally checked them, hey ill maybe get overpairs to fold here" I tihnk heros line was worst
He bet big because hero checked. Simples. The hero simply doesn't have a boat and to be fair, the bet probably works 9/10 of the time. Bart was mucking quick smart.
@Connor Cavazos Dude, I am totally agree with you! One of my friend is very good at tournament but the aggressive way of how he played in cash game made him lost a lot.
Please have this guy call in with a hand every week.
Brett Mason Media hahaaa! He’s great!
Haha I came to the comments to say this and it was already taken.
this guy is awesome!
He's the type of guy I wanna be friends with at the felt
"I knew he had a jack, I can't beat anything." 1min later. "I snapped"
Hilarious call. Very entertaining

How could anyone critique him, his humor more than made up for anything!
I never comment on these things but this caller is fantastic - he’s the opposite of so many “oh poor me” guys. Between this and the angle shooter that was on recently this has become even more much watch content
Hahahaha the angle shooter is a WTF story
"I'm not a sycophant!" Best line ever by a caller. LOL
Especially with that Louisiana accent.
This is the best caller ever
Both ways
Lmao this is hilarious. Caller would be a really fun guy to play with
This caller sounds like a right character & a guy that you'd love to have a beer with... :-)

Toni Paradise Arabic or Asian what's the read?

This is funny
I'm disappointed. Hero didn't bluff jam river to rep quads.
Just came across this hand Bart! What a good feeling hand. All the wrong moves and still ends up ahead. I would rather be lucky than good!
I like Villian's bet. Trying to get him off the exact hand he had. Well played by villain.
Glad this popped up in my feed. Good to see you're doing well Bart. Thanks for the video.
This caller is an absolute legend
Is this tuff fish2020? Gawdammit!!
gotta be
OMG, I havnt heard that name in years.
Bart "that's interesting" Hanson

I hate turn bet, nothings changed OOP position,
Just burning money remember villain called flop
I love how excited this guy is haha makes me smile 😊
Another great video! It was probably me watching you at the Encore over Thanksgiving 😂
This call in has best personality of any call in love it

Exactly if you are villian the only thing you have to figure is calling is a J and maybe a 8, but those probably aren't checking the river
lol I love southern players, they're great story tellers in life.
Caller is great, we need to hear more of his hands. The self deprecating humor is refreshing from someone describing their hand.
Great call in. Excellent stuff as always 👍
The straddle is a lot like sex panther, works 60% of the time, every time.

gerry o sullivan Don’t include me in your we
this is teaching you that theres tons of players out there not playing optimally, on both sides of the table
@@_Ekam2 well, you could learn that by visiting any game 2/5 or lower. if there *were* any live games to visit. :(
I got the strong impression Caller isn't hurting for money....makes loose calling SOOOO MUCH easier, when the money doesn't matter.
@@EricA-xd9fn We didn't drive 2 hours to go folding the 5th best poker hand ever.
Awesome call. Very entertaining.
If your opponent follows you into the parking lot, it's ok to take your weapon off of safe. If it has a manual safety.
Great stuff as always

That caller was great! Good for him
Where was this game play. You said Shreveport but Shreveport/Bossier city only has 2 casinos and they almost never have NL games above 1/3.
Lake charles, Choushatta Casino or NOLA is probably the only games with that big of stacks
The caller said he lives in Little Rock Arkansas, and its about a 2hr drive for him.

In fairness to Villain, $600 River-bet likely gets through if Wild Bill is playing with "rent money".
I didn't get the joke "I couldn't call in on time", what does that mean?
he’s making fun of himself for screwing up the call-in as well as the flop bet with TT
When Bart does the show he gives people time slots to phone in - this guy missed his becuse he got the wrong time zone or something
He bet big because hero checked. Simples. The hero simply doesn't have a boat and to be fair, the bet probably works 9/10 of the time. Bart was mucking quick smart.
He...snaaaaaapped hahahah
Give this guy free subscription on condition he submits hand every week.
9:11 🤣😂
Live Reads Baby!!
this is why you dont bluff a station
This guy is hilarious I'd love to be at his table
Ik it’s silly, but 10’s is my least favorite hand.
My god, it was painful to get through the hand setup
Wade through 14 minutes of yacking for 5 minutes of "wisdom".
I didn't know Alex Jones played poker
Hero played the hand very poorly.
The BTN didn’t turn nines into a bluff he just thinks he’s betting thinly or something and not thinking deeply about it.
