Your knowledge & utterly stupendous collection (even after the cull) never ever lets us down Jürgen! I love hearing you talk about the music you love! Yes… to a Pt 3… please!!🤘🏻
"Knowledge", hahaha... yeah, it´s all about the important things in life when you don´t need to care about anything else! Part three is in the making my friend!
I like these comparison videos. Im picky on the packaging too and what they do with the center labels sometimes. I have the Hellhammer reissue and a Noise OG (silver center labels). It was one of my most expensive original press records Ive bought. I also spent $100 on the OG cassette version on Banzai Cdn press. Worth every penny. Cheers Jurgen!
Jason, I think we as collectors all have a "luxory problem", hahaha.... I paid 15 Deutschmarks (around $8) for my OG Hellhammer record. That was of course still in the 80s.
Great choices again 🤘I have a mix of most of these shown on OG and reissue and cd. I was lucky to find an OG of Sodom here in Australia a couple of years ago. Cool to see those slight differences in pressings🤘
If I can´t find a decent priced OG I´m ok with a good reissue, most of my collection is mixed up as well. I´m glad I didn´t sell my old collection, can you guess that???
Hi Jürgen! Sure, Show No Mercy is something special for many of us, and rightly so. But these records by Protector, Sodom, and Hellhammer also need to be shown. Awesome classics! The reissue of In the Sign of Evil makes me think of two songs you mentioned here. Because when the music is over, don't flip the record, you definitely would be on the wrong side of the tracks. 😆🤘
I found a couple of more classics that I have on OG and reissue so there will be a Part 3. The music´s never over at my home but I´m always on the wrong side of the tracks, hahaha....
Great stuff again Jürgen. Do have both the editions of Paradox, great album. But mine are not signed....... Nice to have friends in bands.😎😎 For the most part the re-issues sounds very good, but some remasters can take away some of the warm sound, especially on the 80's stuff. Cheers. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
I´ve been in contact with Charly for the last 37 years, that´s why my Paradox stuff is signed, hehe... Do you know the Dismember reissues of "Everflowing..." and "Death Metal" on Back On Black? Holy crap, they were so bad!
@@albertampel4175 Sadly i did pick up the first one on BOB, but still have my OG vinyl, so I'm good, hehe. But yeah, BOB did some crappy shit in the early days.
High Roller would be an option, they did a good job with the Destruction reissues. I only have the "Grin" reissue because I missed the original pressing, the others I have only the old pressings.
Hi jurgen! Curious you seem like a gambler metal type!! Can't afford the hammer 😂 but which metal lp, the seconds of the songs from the tracklist would you say will win the lottery??? Any guesses??
I had the Nuclear Death LP decades ago but never warmed up to it so I sold it in the early 2000s. I´ve not heard Derketa but I´m aware they reissued their music a couple of years ago. Maybe I should check them out....
I just took a look at Discogs. It´s not available in any colour right now. The OG is well overpriced! I´m just missing "Tapping The Vein" on vinyl, got everything else...
An "Early Sodom" boxset would be nice indeed! The Destruction set was nice but I refused to buy it because it was all picture discs. More from Destruction in part 3....
You have an amazing collection sir. Always blown away by your knowledge
Thank you very much! The collection is shrinking, I sell more records than I buy new ones.

Nice job on the comparisons. Keep up the good work. Cheers from the USA 🤘🍻
Thank you I´ll do my best!
A lot of great stuff 👍.
Thank you!
I love that Sodom ep.
SODOMMMMMMMMM ....IN THE SIGN OF EVIL.....CLASSIC EP

@@albertampel4175 what a price then! Such a classic now
@@LowNoiseJasonSkilz I was stupid enough to pick up the tape version of "Apocalyptic Raids" as well...

Love these videos Jürgen! Gotta pick up that Paradox some day.
Thank you Melanie! Stupid collector´s problems, hahaha... I have a very personal relationship to the Paradox album, I might be a little bit biased.

Yes, part 3!!!
Alright, it´s already in the making!
Nice topic! My Sodom DLP is just on black vinyl, I didn't know there was a colored vinyl version.
Wax Maniacs did two or three versions of all the three Sodom albums the reissued. They are almost as expensive now than the OGs.
@@albertampel4175 Yeah, it's never good when a reissue is as expensive as the original :(
Original Protector debut ep??? OMG.. The lucky guy!!!
Their absolute best in my opinion.
It´s my fave as well, I bought it when it came out in 1987. Sh*t, that´s 37 years ago, I´m getting old, hahaha...
Your call should be like "Tom, let Steffen reissue your older stuff!". Any Coroner reissues in your collection?
High Roller would be an option, they did a good job with the Destruction reissues. I only have the "Grin" reissue because I missed the original pressing, the others I have only the old pressings.
CF T-shirt. Instant like.
Hellhammer shirt next time???

Great video, I agree about the Sodom reissues, come on, it's about time. Tapping the Vein especially
Tom has been talking about the "Tapping..." reissue for years... He has the mastertapes and the original cover. I don´t know what´s going on...???

Cool im slowlygetting all the Sodom but they are very hard to find or very expensive@@albertampel4175
I don't know some of these albums but I would like to see the early Sodom stuff put in a box set, and the Destruction stuff NOT on picture discs.

Gammacide LP was last reissued 2022 by no life till metal records. 100 copy limitation. Cd as well just FYI.
And yes do PT3 really like seeing these old records.
