Last time that happened is when hoovie sold the minivan
Its just a timing isue. Like with the ferrari when the giant coolant leak happend before the engine fire. It would have been amazing for it to burst that hose and extinguish itself, but life is a bitch.

@XHAD Exactly the one I was thinking of... apparently it can still be fixed. I think that Ed told in his video the only real snag was the price. It wouldn't be worth buying the car at 300k plus the cost of fixing it... I am pretty sure at this point that if that car sells, is to become some youtuber project. Either to be fixed and brought back to original, or become some kind of stripped Veyron racing car... let's wait and see...

Shouldn't McLaren freeze the warranty while parts are on backorder? Doesn't seem fair for months of a warranty to be used up due to McLaren's supplier issues.

Usually the part itself carries a warranty (say 2 years), so even if they take 6 months to deliver it, the warranty starts when you install it.

Rumor has it McLaren's are made of a very high tech light weight material known as ''papier mache'' . Not just the body, but the entire car. Good for you on getting that warranty. You're gonna need it.

Awesome video dude! I just looked this car up on wiki and other sources, this is what it said: McLaren started developing the car in 2007 and secretly purchased a Ferrari 360 to use as a test mule. The mule called MV1 was used to test the 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine. The car also featured side vents for additional cooling which were later incorporated in the final production model. Later in the year, the company purchased an Ultima GTR to test the braking system and suspension components, that mule was called the MV2. The space frame and body of that car were modified in order to accommodate the new components. Later another prototype was purchased which was another Ferrari 360 dubbed the MV3 which was used to test the exhaust system.
In theory it is a reverse engineered Ferrari 360 and Ultima GTR..

75,000 miles is not unlimited mileage.
Tyler, unlimited means not limited or restricted in terms of number, quantity, or extent....
TheJustin574 I don’t know if this is the case but it could be unlimited for that year, it’s just that you can’t renew it after it has 75k. So when it has 70k on it and you renew the warranty for the next year you could take it up to however far you can get to and still be covered but you just can’t renew it next year.
I suspect the unlimited part applies to the claims, e.g unlimited warranty claims

HONDA RULES I’d be surprised if he made anywhere near that honestly. He hasn’t been at it very long and has started to grow the past 6 months or so and doesn’t do daily videos. He’s banking on growing into that I’m sure and has been able to float it with what he had already. I’m sure that if he sold everything off and even if he lost some money on the cars he’d be ahead once his earnings are figured in. He isn’t as dumb as he lets on that’s for sure. This channel is an investment, seems to be a good one so far too.

Awesome buy. Moving from Jeep Grand wagoneer to rolls Royce and McLaren. I looked at 12c and like the big iPad in the center console (even thou it was new you could see every touch on it).

for a 100k you can get a F430, a good R8 or something similar, but those are (as he said) already done plenty of times.
The McLaren on the other hand is still "interesting" compared to a run of the mill R8.
He has the warranty, hence if something breaks he can just give it to McLaren.
He can drive it for a 1 or 2 years without loosing to much value (Value for this is exponentially decreasing).
He adds a "supercar" to his fleet which generates more views (see Tavarish´s explosion of followers).
Smart move, smart move!

People with super cars as a general rule actually drive them very little. It is not uncommon to see super cars only clock up about 3000 miles a year.
