      Dude, when you get older, you tend to prefer to bring things up to your height to work on them, rather than having to bend down. Especially with a lowered car. Take cleaning a wheel for instance. Would you rather have to bend down and get your head down to make sure you’re not missing anything, or (if you had the option) lift the car up so you can stand up straight?

    • @rainydaysroofer9474

    You can get an ap1 clockspring to retain cruise control, and for the oem airbag recall you can contract them and theyll come to your house and change it. They sent someone 5x to my house hounding me for the airbag recall

    Little Honda bro 2 ways I have hooked up cruise control without the need to cut or solder any wires. I hate cutting a harness.
    You can use the Civic switches with slight modification to the metal mount bracket that is held by two phillips screws to the main part of the steering wheel.
    The other option is to get a another mating connector for the Civic and one for the S2000 and make a small harness.

    I did the same thing with my 2019 Civic Type R. Went to an Alcantara wheel with red stitch. I had the same problem with the stupid airbag plugs. I fiddled with them for 3 days! Also, since the Honda steering wheels don’t have a centering pin, they’re all clocked differently. You may need a wheel straightening alignment, when it’s done. I thought for sure you were going to get out a steering wheel puller, when you couldn’t get it off. That new wheel looks just like my Type R wheel. Awesome!

    All eurobotique carbon fiber parts are overlay. I was perusing their site, looking at all their s2k parts and everything was a veneer. You had to read the description carefully. They aren't falsely advertising when they say it's genuine cf [overlay]; only the tiny accessories are made from full cf, like the cup holder sliding door, or the center piece.

  • @MattGreenland
    @MattGreenland 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    You can de-pin the connector and get the right one from the S2000 or vise versa using the one from Civic. Snipping and soldering is not very OEM, but neither is conveniently skipping stuff like a hack shop.

    I would recommend disconnecting the airbag immediately! The pyro delay timings are meant for a specific airbag. The volume, inflation time and vent holes are never going to be the same between 2 vehicles even from the same manufacturer. If you make contact with that bag and it’s still inflating it’s not going to do you any favours....and if it’s already deflating......👋
