    Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you! A few months ago, I discovered bamboo fiber. I’ve been struggling to find ways to cook with it. When I found your channel, it felt like Christmas morning! Please keep your recipes coming because I will definitely try each and everyone. Love from Texas!

    Hello Melinda! Greetings from North Carolina. Just made this yesterday, and I wanted to say, this is really good! I enjoyed this with my dinner and am happy you produce and share these recipes with all of us here! Thank you! Definitely keeping this and your second one for a cheesy bread in rotation - especially as the Thanksgiving holiday approaches.

    Great idea! As I am experimenting with your pizza dough already(I even made it vegan out of curiosity with flax seed egg substitute and generally use water and olive oil instead of milk and avocado oil), I will try to achieve something challa - like -ish using arla lactose free full fat milk with only 3 net carbs/100ml, melted butter, some sugar substitute and some poppy seeds as a topping. Let's see what turns out in the end :) Thanks one again for your recipes.

    The execution of the bread came out perfectly. Your instuctions were spot on. The inside was moist and spongy. The flavor to me was lacking something, I used inulin over honey. I'm not sure if that would have added a bit to the flavor, but i'll figure it out. Thanks for sharing your recipies and videos with us. Please keep them coming!

      You need a sweetener like monk fruit in the dough!

      @@BambooLoveChannel - Hi Melinda - have you heard of Crazy Puffs? They're the latest snack craze started by Little Caesar's Pizza.
      Videos on how to make your own home-made Crazy Puffs are all over TH-cam. They're basically pizza muffins. It's a pretty simple recipe, although it does require a baking tray (muffin tray?)
      I'd be grateful to see you try such a recipe using the bamboo flour, and show the results to us.

    When I make your flour, is it okay if I use pre-ground psyllium husks if I do not care about the purple color? Would that change the flour's uses? Btw, purple is my favorite color. Lol!

    Why do you roll and fold up the dough? What happens if you don't roll and fold it? How many servings is a loaf?

    Wow! that certainly looks delicious. Problem is with finding Bamboo Flour. Basically, it is not available where I live. I only found one source, which is Amazon, and they charge a fortune for it. Can you list some places where you buy your Bamboo Fibre?

    Thank you for the recipe. Why the dough needs to be kneaded? There is no gluten for it to develop protein strands.

    • @BambooLoveChannel
      @BambooLoveChannel  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Because its texture changes during kneading, it gets an elastic texture.

    What oil do you use? And are coconut oil or aquababa good oil substitutes? I did not like the taste of olive oil in the bread I tried.

      I use avocado oil, but you can use any oil. 🙃

      I toasted it and it works, but not like toasted wheat bread. A little drier not as crispy.

    My concern is how much bread we can eat per day as It’s made with so much fiber. ❤❤

    • @BambooLoveChannel
      @BambooLoveChannel  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +10

      There is no single diet that is right for everyone, you have to choose what’s right for you.
      Everyone should increase fiber in the diet gradually over a few weeks. This allows the natural bacteria in the digestive system to adjust to the change. Adding too much fiber too quickly can promote intestinal gas, abdominal bloating and cramping. Also, drink plenty of water :).
      When I started eating bamboo fiber, I was so happy to eat delicious bread again after 2 years, so I was greedy... I experienced some of the above symptoms. My main problem was that I was too full for hours... I thought, oh no, this was not comfortable... So I skipped the bamboo fiber for a few days, did some research, then started slowly introducing bamboo fiber into my diet. Now, after a year of eating bamboo fiber, we are perfectly fine (the whole family), with only positive effects. I definitely eat more fiber than the daily recommendation, but I'm careful not to eat more than 50g a day. But that's me, it doesn't mean everyone should have the same experience.
      This (or similar) bamboo fiber flour blends are available in some European countries (in stores). So it may be new here in the US, but not in the world.
      FYI: Bamboo fiber baked goods can be frozen so you can store them for longer (works like normal wheat bread). So you don't have to eat them in a short time :).
