All 2017 GT350's are Track Packs, it was standard starting that year. The important thing is which oil filter you have. If your car's build date is before late January 2017(not sure of the exact date), you have the canister style oil filter. Those were vibrating loose, so Ford switched to the cartridge style oil filter.
Did not realize that about the track package, but it makes sense from looking at this cars window sticker. Yes, oil filter is a big one! Made sure to get the later design with the cartridge.

Why are you saying original sport cup 2’s?? The car came stock with Pilots, not cups.
You're right, I guess I should have clarified better on the video. The car had cup 2s when I bought the car, so original to me. Since I had no experience with the stock pilot SS. Can't talk about what I haven't experienced.

I have a 16 fiesta st fbo x37 hybrid at 280 wheel hp and torque and 2600 lbs. It's a riot in the twisties. My 07 gt500 at 750+ rwhp with a 2650 and 410 gears is a straight line monster I imagine the gt350 would be like the 2 had a baby lol. Faster than the fiesta not as fast as the gt500 on the straights but extremely capable in the twisties but closer to the size and weight of the gt500. I'm sure it's a blast it sure looks like it. 👍
It has definitely been fun I can tell you that! Extremely capable in its stock form. Crazy to think what it could do with modifications.

Seriously considering trading in my SS 1LE for a GT350 but the known issues with the voodoo engines scares the hell out of me as most of these cars are out of warranty. Have you had any issues with yours? Any oil consumption issues? Love the gray with the blue stripes!
I have had no issues at all, it doesn't consume any oil what so ever. Daily driving and putting it through its paces everytime I drive it. A lot of people that are worried about it buy extended warranties in the owners groups.it does give peace of mind for those owners
Ford engines have always consumed a little oil. My dad’s 79 ford 150 (5.8), my 92 ford f150 (5.0), my mom’s 98 ford f150 (5.4) and even my 2022 rcsb 150 coyote. Just do maintenance every 5k miles and you shouldn’t worry about it.

Damn, that is extremely unlucky. Definitely seems like a toss-up when it comes to the reliability of the engine.
@@vudu_daily Tell me about it. Less than 900 miles and never above 70 mph and always kept in low to medium RPM's. Once it is fixed I'm not sure what I'm going to do. My brain tells me to get rid of it. My heart tells me to keep it.

Just curious why you went gt350 over something it’s price range like a c7? I love gt350s but imo a c7 is a better buy
Well, always been a Mustang guy so the Shelby name plate has been something I have wanted for a long time and are much less common than C7s even Z06. Price though.... yeah a standard C7 is close to the same price point but say get something that would stand out and be more fun for me like a Z06 would be about 16k-20k more than what I paid for this car. Also that sound from the Voodoo is leagues above an LT1 or an LT4, IMO
@@vudu_daily I own both a Roush Stage 3 and a cammed headers C7 z51. I always get asked more about the Roush lol. Like always. So I see what you mean. It’s got 675hp now but honestly the corvette is faster. It’s a different kind of speed. Like the car scares me. Yeah the Shelby name is a prestige all it’s own. For the price of c7 you’re getting a supercar that’s why went c7. I wanted a GT350 but I’m scared of the problems with that motor and without a warranty that motor is 24k. No thx. LT1s are dime a dozen yet powerful. I owned a 17 Mustang GTCS before I bought the vette with youre set up inside and honestly the corvette is just more user friendly and feels like a luxury car …. loaded. The seats, steering, and mirrors self adjust when I get it in. And Has a HUD music, calls everything comes up in the hud, I feel like those Shelby’s should come with more for what Ford charges. Thanks for sharing 🤙🏽
