I did a video just like this 10 years ago, but I didn't have a multi-tool back then. I used a cut off wheel, but I like your technique better. I'll try this next time I restore another z50.
I use a large bench vice . Open vice close vice with out hitting rim half’s use a large screw driver pop tire off bead area . May have to rotate tire 4-6” in vice much safer than using muilty tool

This is the method I have used on over 20 tires works like a charm
Where do you get parts for these bikes? I'm working on a 50cc mini trail. Need new tires and possibly a new internal throttle assembly.
