(We stayed on a lifestyle visit in April and got drunk on the magical Village koolaid… and bought a house!). You need to make it street legal with a Florida tag. Technically it is a Low Speed Vehicle (LSV). Enjoy it.

Love that cart ! You'll need a "Bad weather" side curtain kit and the D5 sits alittle tall. Be careful going through the tunnels up in the Nancy Lopez area.😊

Congrats on finally buying that golf cart! That Evolution looks pretty nice, definitely cant beat the price on it as well. Gotta ask.... what kind of range did they say you would get? Also, how is the height relative to the tunnels...any concerns there? We were thinking that would be a reason to buy "on the park," just to make sure it meets all the required of being in TV. But buying from the one everyone else buys from just seems soooooo expensive, so if we dont need to do that it would be great!

You're really helping us in our adventure towards retirement. We live in Michigan. It will be a few years yet. Looking forward to your review of the golf car. The brand sometimes gets a bad report. My buddy has an Evolution Forester. I'm impressed with it. It has a two speed transmission. Does yours? Maybe speak about all the technical stuff in your review. Best wishes!!!

Hey Michael. You sure did go big on this one lol. I knew when you were looking for Carts that you would not even consider a gas cart. I think the key tipoff is that you have a Tesla 🙂Not sure you can call it a golf cart as I do not see anywhere to put the golf clubs. 🙂

I just closed on a house in Moultrie Creek, been watching your videos ….Thank you sooooo much for posting, I rented a Yamaha gas from The Villages Golf Cars…the smell of gas made me nauseated…I hesitated on getting an electric cart for fear I would run out of juice…SO tomorrow I will be heading to Hidden Creek!!!!!

Regarding your golf cart, is there a way to bring along golf clubs or folding chairs. We are looking for a 4 seater too. Right now we have a 2 seater gas cart and typically our back area has our two chairs or clubs strapped to it. Also, how much lithium do you have to go as far as you described. The developers seem to know what they are doing given that they built the most successful 55+ community in the world. However... why in the world did they design the town square music venues with so little shaded seating?
Definitely could use more shade everywhere in Florida. 🌴☀️ Especially during the summer. We just bought some new camp chairs that have the built in and retractable canopy. We will test them out and share in a future video. Thanks!

Awesome! We went with the bigger 205AH battery. I think they now have a 160AH option too. Electric blue golf cart
Congratulations on your new golf cart. My wife and I are driving to the Villages to close on house in St. Catherine on May 30th. We are thinking about staying overnight in Santee, SC and taking hwy 301 to the Villages. Did it take you longer to go on hwy 301 vs 95? My wife and I want to be on your 5k team for The Running of the Squares.

First, beautiful cart for sure. Though the seat belts coming from the center freak me out a little. They don’t seem like they would “hold” you from flopping/leaning out of the cart in the (hopefully) unlikely event of an accident. What do you think having rode in it?
Thanks so much! The seat belts are very sturdy and once you are buckled up they keep you locked in firmly in place. Will demonstrate in our full review video.
I am curious about the difference between the Ranger and Maverick models. Do they offer different ranges? Love seeing married couples enjoying each other. Keep up the great work.
The difference is maverick is lifted… with “ off road “ tires..
Which is not really necessary in the villages..
The Ranger is standard height .. with street tires..

Did you have any problem with it fitting in your golf car garage? I hear some of the four seaters of other brands can be quite long front to back. I'm guessing that all of the patio villa homes with separate golf car garages have them about the same size regardless whether you have an Emerald or Moonstone floor plan, etc.

Where do the golf clubs go? Looks like it might be too tall for the tunnels in the north area of The Villages.
The trunk is removable and the clubs go in that spot. We took it all the way up to Spanish Springs and it cleared all the tunnels we drove it through. Will share more about both of those topics in our full review video. Thanks!

They offer both a generic enclosure and also custom golf cart enclosures. We ordered a custom Sunbrella Enclosure (color and pattern to coordinate with the color of our golf cart). Will do a video when they install for us in a couple of weeks. Thanks!

The Hidden Creek website shows the Ranger with a 110 aH battery. Is that the size that you got? Also, has the height of the car been lowered for the tunnels in the north? If so, what is the final height of the car? Also interested in what the sound system is like...Bluetooth for connecting a phone? Apple Carplay by any chance?
I just ordered the same unit from Ray and got the 160 ah battery. Lowered the back by 2" and put 205/65R10 tires on it for a total of over 4.2" shorter . If they did not do that they should avoid going north of 466 by the savana center. It will hit the top of about 4 of the tunnels up there. Love the cart but the canopy is too tall. Not sure why they did that. Much nicer than a Yamaha gas cart (I have a quietech already)

Does it fit through all the tunnels?
Not sure about every tunnel in TV… but it did fit through every tunnel we drove through so far (from our area up in the south all the way to Spanish Springs and back). Will discuss and share more in future update videos. Thanks!
Did you put the charging station in your garage when you bought this cart?
The golf cart has a built in charger and it just plugs in to a regular wall outlet. Will do a video in the future and show our golf cart garage and how we charge it up each night. Thanks!
