    You’re subjects are phenomenal and the videos direct and to the point not a lot of garbage to wade through.

    Awesome video! Really helpful. And does a great job of reinforcing understanding I was developing from reading the S&T book.

    The missing link, power fading off the ST grid.
    Thanks, Nick

    Hi Nick, sorry but are you changing tee height at all? I would imagine the ball would be set up higher for the fade and lower for the draw.

    • @NickTaylorGolf
      @NickTaylorGolf  9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I don’t change it Zach but generally the attack angle would affect the optimum tee height eg. Higher for more upwards

    I like simplicity of setup. I will try at the range by changing left foot position.

    Nick I like your explanation about the left shoulder. I have watched most of your driver videos. Your ball is a little further fwd from your heal into more the middle of your foot & you address 2 to 3 inches behind the ball at address- does this address behind the ball help ?

    Nick. first of all I would like to say the content of the videos you put out is top notch. I have been working on your stack and tilt technique for awhile now and hitting the ball solid, but pulling everything left. Do you have any videos that address this problem or maybe some drills. Once again great stuff.

    Also can you do a series of showing the difference between chipping and pitching using the same club say a 58 degree wedge and what adjustments you do for ball position and wrist motion to affect trajectory
    what is your opinion of Dave Pelz shirt game. Pitching technique ?

    Hi Nick! Digging into your videos… such a great content so far 👍. One question here : moving the ball influences clearly the swing path but to change the draw into a fade, you need to also change the face-to-path relationship. Otherwise you will be moving from push-draw to draw to pull-draw… Do you suggest that the ball position change (forward) naturally / inconsciously changes your face-to-path angle ? It may not be the case for everyone?

    • @NickTaylorGolf
      @NickTaylorGolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes the club face is key, it should be more open to target for draw and closed for fade

  • @pomeroydl
    @pomeroydl 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Nick it looks like the fade carried farther than the draw ball flight shapes. Fade had lower back spin and more up. So I get shoulder and ball position can affect ball flight shape when you need it but most of us want distance too. So does a fade travel farther generally? Thx.

    • @NickTaylorGolf
      @NickTaylorGolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would say the balls that curve the least generally go further

  • @carlor.s.4742
    @carlor.s.4742 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    So on the fade shot did you move the ball forward & then pull your left shoulder back or does it just look further forward because you moved your shoulder? I'm a little confused.

    Excellent video. Question: I struggle getting a smash factor over 1.35, even with a centre strike and slight draw path. Randomly 1 in 30 shots will get 1.45 which is good. What could cause such an issue?

  • @tonyfrostad2730

    Did you set up closer to the ball for the fade ?

  • @garathmaenpaa3066

    nick All good but wouldn’t it I’ve either just to open your stamce For us non talented golfers keeping the same swing is paramount so if you can do the first swing with regularity just go with it and just open your stance
    Some of us aren’t talented enough or practice enough to take a risk of messing with the push draw swing

      Sorry to hear that Bob, I can’t say why you are topping. My first guess is swinging too much in to out and hitting low heel. Im not sure why that’s my fault but thanks for your advice

      @@NickTaylorGolf I don’t find anywhere in your teachings where you provide us mortals a troubleshooting video on problems we have, the possible causes and solutions to try. Unless I’m the only person who hasn’t effectively incorporated 100% of what you teach into their golf game with perfect results. If I’m that guy, I sincerely apologize!
      Not once did I say it was your fault. I’m suggesting for those of us that don’t see immediate results from your TH-cam videos, adding this piece would be extremely helpful. In my opinion.
