Multi tools should be fully customizable.. these companies are dumb for not selling these as options.

This is a great idea. I don’t understand why Leatherman doesn’t put a T-shank adapter on the Wave, Cjarge and Signal. It would make so much sense and they could sell the accessories.

T-Shank, bit holder should be a staple on ALL leathermen. It is a game changer. For the wave it's the difference between whether or not the tool can maintain itself (since you could take the diamond file out to hone itself).
I seriously don't understand why not every one of them has it. For example the Free P4 costs sooo much and it has none of these. It makes no sense to me.

Badass. Regarding the T10. I’ve noticed on my Leatherman. If you open the tool fully to the pliers it creates tension on the screw. Therefore you can unscrew that bolt with only needing 1 T10 tool.

There's so many good T shank saw blades you can use 👍
I keep the metal file in the holder and a supersize 4" long saw blade taped to the side of my Surge for bushcraft emergencies.

After watching this video, I ordered one and it’s installed. Love the idea but may end up switching back to the dedicated saw. It depends on whether or not I end up putting SAK or Wingman scissors in one of the one hand opening tool positions. I have a rebar awl I’ll be putting on the interior replacing the scissors. I love the Surge but it’s just a large for my edc preference/needs. Question, have you tested any other t-shank saw blade brands to see if they fit without modification? If so, what brands can you suggest? I’m not opposed to modding the saws but I’d like to avoid it if possible. I have the replacement surge saw and file as well and just holding off modding until I’m certain I want to spend the time on them. I appreciate you taking the time to post this and all your other videos. They’ve been very helpful.

I've really not tried hard to find t shank saws that could fit because I don't personally use a saw as much. As far as the scissors I used the Victorinox on mine and it went fairly smooth. I plan to make a video soon on that as well. I'm glad these videos have been helpful!

Are you cutting metal pipe and different material by adding that "T- Shank" adaptor or are you just experimenting and having fun modifying multitools? The stock wood saw would work on softer material like hard rubber or plastic in a pinch.
