I’m amazed April being a therapist and being that manipulative. I’m curious to understand what her thought process was. I hope she was honest.
They've actually done a wedding crash date before ( chris soules ,and whitney) they made it look spontaneous, but they obviously coordinate with the bride ,and groom before hand. But it wasn't horrible or tacky.
My mom saw the hot tub and said “Is that a hot tub.. in the middle of no where?” I was like “Yeah, that’s a thing on this show.”😂

I agree with you on Kathy. Personally I would love others to kiss & tell to know what's happening. I think this show is probably the most exciting thing that has happened for Theresa in a long time (it would be for me too!) but she is just excited & wants to talk about it. Better to befriend her & be supportive. Creating snarky drama is the fastest way to be sent packing!

April has quite the edge though. She’d be very hard to live with. Everything would have to be her way. For a counselor, she’s surprisingly devoid of warmth.
Agreed- I can see April being the first golden brachlorette but the laugh and voice of Sandra is hilarious! She reminds me of Chris Jenner.

I don't watch the shows, so maybe I don't get the full picture of Kathy, but she just let a dramatic self centred person set her off.
She needs to develop some inner happiness and peace IMO. And stop letting people trigger her.

@@elipotter369 Yeah, that's the impression I was getting as well. Kathy made some poor decisions, but I don't think she's a bad person. I also don't think Theresa is so innocent. She keeps boasting about how amazing her connection with Gerry is, and it's obnoxious. I don't think she's gonna make it much further, so it will be interesting to see how she reacts when Gerry sees the true Theresa.

I had a friend who said he was thinking about throwing me off the cliff we were walking along because I said sorry I don't want to turn our friendship into a romance.
Years later, someone who supposedly knew him better than me was eulogising about what a gentle guy he was!!!

There are SOO many AMAZING no dairy ice creams out there. Especially in LA where they film. Even Ben and Jerrys makes at least 10 of their classic flavors with almond milk. They should have gotten some for Sandra!

I like having Trista as a guest. Even though her season isnt as well received or popular as others, I think the fact that she and Ryan are still married is a testament to the strength and success of their relationship.

Theresa is a snake in the grass in my opinion, thought that early on. I think he should have let both of them go home. Kathy was a complainer and Theresa played the poor victim. I think some of the other women he let go would have been better choices to keep around. Hey that’s my opinion and the producers have alot to say in this show.

Theresa was overly self focussed and histrionic and wanted to be the special one and centre of attention. She's oblivious to anyone else's feelings and doesn't care.

I’m sorry but Theresa doesn’t get it AT ALL and she did brag in front of everyone to Trista! She’s an over-sharer even when she’s asked not to and I’d be frustrated & annoyed too. Not to the extent of Kathy directly telling her to zip it but still. And she blew it out of proportion to Garry more than once. No matter how sweet she can be, she was very inconsiderate of friends/others feelings in that sitch. Kathy wasn’t the in the right, but she was fighting a losing battle … shouldn’t have told Garry about it in the first place! She projected her insecurities on Theresa’s intentions w/that poor example she gave in the end.

I think Theresa is an over-sharer for sure, but mostly harmless. I found Kathy's overreaction more bothersome; felt like someone who generally can't be happy for others if she's not also experiencing highs, etc. Just my sense.

Advice for Kathy - just stop listening. It's not that deep. The other ladies don't look like they care, and probably support each other and want to hear a little bit (probably not all) so they can learn a bit about Gary and to just not feel alone.
Sandra, I can't even. I get her daughter said yes, and ceremonies can happen more than once. But it's a TV show at the end of the day. Getting a man isn't a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but her daughter's wedding might be. But Kudos to her, because this experience is DEFINITELY OILT. Enjoy your time Sandra, and you look amazing!!
I reckon a lot of ladies didn't like Theresa's attention seeking and smugness - but most women are trained to shut up, look sweet and let someone more outspoken be the fall guy.
I agree though, poor Kathy needs some work on herself to not let histrionic selfish people upset her inner equilibrium and happiness.
I'm not sure if what I read was accurate, but I read that this was her daughter's second marriage. If she had her daughter's blessing, then I think she did the right thing.😊
It's a slim chance at her age and she was already committed to the show. I don't blame her for staying especially if her daughter was cool with it. I don't think it's that big of a deal. Sandra is obviously very competitive. I don't believe for a minute she was really sick at all. If she was seriously lactose intolerant she wouldn't have had a bite of that ice cream because she wouldn't have wanted to be shiting and stinking up the place in front of everyone over there. She just pretended so she could skip the rose ceremony and be safe. Both her and Teresa know how to play the game.

Im not sure Leslie is the right match for Gerry. I was sorry to see Joan leave. I liked her. He was really into her. Gerry seems to have a real connection with Faith. She's a very cool and spiritual person.

Kathy has said in an interview that she is "a direct person and says what she thinks." Gerry in an interview has said that part of his training was monitoring, negotiating conflict, and that he was well capable of handling the minor (his word) drama in the house. My opinion is that he did not see his more mild personality meshing with Kathy's more bold personality.

I am still trying to figure out what Gerry wants...if he wants super spunky, sporty and attractiveness that makes him feel younger then Leslie or Faith. But if he wants more of a laid back but fun person, than Sandra or Susan. With Theresa I think he just sees shes nice and has a similar story, but she can be annoying and the attraction of the other women is not there. I think in the end it should be Faith! She has the best balance of qualities on both sides that it seems like Gerry was looking for.
Well, he’s a man. Leslie and Faith are both like 60. Theresa is 70 and Ellen too I think. I see no spark with Susan or Sandra. He’ll pick the youngest and sexiest. Because, he’s a man. 😅

I think Theresa was a histrionic type - they always want to be centre of attention and treat others like the audience- totally insensitive.
Kathy was the type who lets it get to her unfortunately also the type who goes in like a crusader and tries to stop the drama and cops the blame for being the mean one.
You can bet other women didn't like Theresa's behaviour either - but were happy to let Kathy take the fall for trying to restore even handedness.

I think when Leslie flipped out about the costumes that was a peek into her real personality. He needs to avoid her. I think there are some weird insecurities and entitlement with her and with her twin with the lip injections.

I think Teresa was feigning naivete. She was definitely trying to annoy Kathy this episode. Kathy told her what bothered her and she kept on doing it anyway. Then, she went and tattled to Gerry. Kathy told her to "zip it" at the end of a much longer conversation. It wasn't the most respectful thing to say, but it was at the end of a conversation that frustrated Kathy. I think Teresa was just annoyed that Kathy reacted so strongly the first time, so she doubled down and then reported on her.
Right! Kathy even prefaced “zip it” with, can I give you some friendly advice?! I think when Gerry sees that, he is going to realize he didn’t get the real version of the “zip it” story.

It depends on how much Gerry is going to play it safe or take a risk and ooen his heart to someone completely different from his wife.
I have thought from night one that it will be Faith. And you left out that Faith is at the young end of this age range, and young relative to him. Which is what he wants.
