    Own a '21 V85TT. I love it. Never rode a Vulcan S but have talked with owners and it sounds like a beast.

      Its oddly very quick especially for a 650. I prefer the feel of the Guzzis over the Vulcan though.

    You are very lucky to live where you do, hardly remember seeing another car for most of the back road ride. Nice bike too.

    I also just noticed that my LCD display and windscreen, is pointing to the right like 2 degrees compared to handlebars when straight. OCD kicking lol

    I considered the V85TT but only had a dealer 200 miles away…so I pulled the trigger on a Honda 2021 ATES DCT. @NothingtoProve likened the road manners of the V85 TT to enjoying the characteristics of a fine wine 🍷

      Dont know much about the Honda but I thoroughly enjoyed the v85 tt, it is a very good bike.

    How does the v85tt compare with the Honda nc750?

    • @bikerbeliever8169
      @bikerbeliever8169  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm not sure. I haven't rode the nc750. Honda makes good bikes though, it has less power but weighs less as well. Id say with it being a parallel twin it will be less characterful than the v85 tt.

      @@bikerbeliever8169 thankyou , you make a good point about character, I guess I’ll have to test ride them both to decide 👍🏍

    Soooo......When are you trading yours in on the V85tt?

    • @bikerbeliever8169

      Well after I get my house built first. Then depending on if I'm super broke or only little broke then I may get a black one. I may wait to see how good the v100 is next year though and see where Guzzi is heading in the future with their new ohc liquid cooled motors.

    I've tried the V9 Bobber, and I owned the 2017 Vulcan S and put in 11,000 miles on it. There's no way the Vulcan has more Torque than the 850 engine on the Guzzis. Must be the big weight difference LOL. But good to hear some comparison regarding the V7 850 and the V85TT. A buddy of mine has the same bike and he loves it.

    • @bikerbeliever8169
      @bikerbeliever8169  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The vulcan is faster. It is. The moto guzzi feels faster feels more torquey but it don't hang on to the power the way the vulcan does. The vulcan hangs on to that peak power for 2-3krpm longer than the Guzzi. The Guzzi as soon as it hits peak power its over, the vulcan keeps pulling. That being said the Guzzi is a better low rev cruiser roadster and feels effortless with the motor, but dont feel like that on the vulcan, it wants to rev. That being said I do weigh 100lbs more than my wife and got wider shoulders, taller the works, so I got more wind resistance on me, and it does make a difference. The moto guzzi aint way slower but it is definitely slower and would be with equal sized weight riders. This dont take away from the Guzzi being the better bikes imo. They have tons of character and feel great, why I got the v7 because of how it feels made me feel when riding it. The v85 said deal, just little smoother and taller in adventure touring package.

      @@bikerbeliever8169 I see. Yea I'd like to test a V7 850 out for real. That shaft drive on the Guzzi is a being seller for me. I remember getting off a 1000 mile cross country ride having a stretched out chain on the Vulcan lol. Not exactly an easy thing to adjust on the fly in the middle nowhere on my end of the earth with no center stand or paddock stand. ;)

    Hi there!
    I am 185 cm tall (6 feet more less).
    Which one would you recommend for weekend rides?
    I am on the mood for the V7 but I am afraid of the smaller chasis. Maybe a scrambler handlebar would be better.
    Thanks for your advice

      The v7 is fine for me st 6 foot 1. That being said on af1racing website they have all kinds of lowering pegs which can help. I may if keep bike long term switch to some. I do fine though with stock peg location right now though.

    The bike gets significantly faster with Mileage mine has almost 7000 miles on it and it’s still breaking in

    • @bikerbeliever8169
      @bikerbeliever8169  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, I don't feel like bike is slow at all, my wife has an advantage on vulcan s (which does have over 7k miles and is better now as well), being 100 plus lbs lighter and lot narrower shoulders and shorter than me. It makes a difference, I don't think people realize how much it plays a role.

      @bikerbeliever8169  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No it's a great bike. My wife is faster on vulcan she weighs like half what I do and lot slimmer shoulders, it absolutely makes a difference. The v85 has plenty of pep and is great street bike, I enjoyed it.

    The vulcan its not really faster you did only 1 and 2 gear later you slow down.......i garante 100% a soon you put 3 and 4 v 85tt pass in front of vulcan........i top out my v7 at 120mph 194km/h

      I'm heavier than my wife drastically which plays a huge roll on motorcycles. The v85 is absolutely quicker with a smaller person riding it.

    • @bikerbeliever8169
      @bikerbeliever8169  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep. Craziness. But I'm also lot heavier than my wife so if had equal weight rider in my place it would be much closer but the vulcan probably would still take it. Crazy I know. That bike surprised even me and I rode it several thousand miles as my beginner bike.

      @@bikerbeliever8169 I feel like the V85TT is geared pretty tall. I can pull on my friend with my T7 in 6th and him in 4th.
