I've plugged a wireless receiver into the i/o socket to connect a mouse if I need it and a bluetooth keyboard works fine - unlike the Lenevo which somehow would often garble the input. Battery life seems good. In short I'm very pleased with it
Hi. I did not experience this kind of heating. It did get warm but after a prolonged use. Also depends on what kind of usage. With normal web browsing and office work it did get warm but after about 20 mins or so and that too nothing alarming. Hope this helps.
U didn't talk about the most important things about owning a tab for 2 years. This video feels like a biased unboxing than a 2 year review . U didn't talk about. 1. S pen tip after 2 years ( usually needs replacing) 2. Battery life degradation over 2 years 3. Performance decrease over 2 years
Thank you for the comments. Really sorry to have missed out on those points. Yes the S Pen tip has worn off and I had to get new ones from the Samsung service center. Battery life degradation has happened but not too severe. I see one or two hours shaved off in normal every day use. Performance wise it still runs reasonably fast. I am not a power user and don’t play too many games. Use the tab mainly for office and browsing the web and sometimes Netflix and performance has always been consistent even to this day. To address the biased part I can clarify that I am absolutely unbiased with any brand and don’t get paid for sure by anyone to talk for or against any brand. It’s my personal experiences good and bad that I share. But yes your suggestions are well taken and will make sure to incorporate these points in future reviews. Thanks 🙏

Hi Bibhukalyan. Both iPad 9 and Tab series are great for note taking. The tab s7+ has the advantage of the 120hz display and the bundled pen. iPad 9 you will have to buy the Apple Pencil extra but the iPad 9 is cheaper than the Samsung Tab s7 plus so the cost will be nearly the same. I found it easier to draw and take notes on the Samsung tabs. On the iPads it’s a very hard and glass like feeling. Feels more natural on the Samsung tab while drawing and taking notes. Also which phone do you use as the ecosystem will also matter in the long term. If android then better to choose a Samsung tab and vice Versa. Hope I was able to help 👍

Yes it would be a great option. The tab s7 plus is more than capable of handling heavy pdfs. Make sure to buy the keyboard cover case too. It's an amazing accessory. I'm sure you will like it. 👍

Hey Sahil. Thanks for watching my video and supporting my channel. Yes you can buy this tab as it is still quite good in 2024. No need to spend extra money on the latest tab as this one will get most of the things done for you. You mentioned 6/128. It all depends on what you are going to use this tab for. If you store a lot of data and games the space could run out but if just using for emails, web browsing etc this should do just fine. As for the price, you can negotiate heavily as this is an older model. I won't be able to comment much on the pricing without seeing the condition of the tab he is selling. But in any case, please check for wear and tear before buying if it is a used tab. If new, then it's even better and if there is any Warranty left on it that's also fine. Once again negotiate hard. On cashify the tab seems to be going for 25 to 30k, I only have a budget of 15k max. I don't know if he will give it to me for this low. Hey Sahil brother. Always happy to help. Are you sure you want to buy this tab since it already has a line etc. Please be careful with your money. Have you checked on olx and Facebook marketplace as well ? You may get some good deals there. I don't it's worth putting in money for a faulty tab. After all 15000 is also not a small amount. I shall also check on olx if there is something in that budget and if I come across I'll surely let you know. By the way I use Google Keep notes now since it is universlly available for use on Mac Pc Android and iOS. You could check it out too. Hope that helps.

Hey thanks for this video. I was thinking of buying a proper tablet and a good camera phone since 6 months. I am going into Film college and I need a sufficient setup for my work. Till yesterday, I made up my mind to buy IPAD Pro 11, on student discount it was 68k + 2nd Gen Airpods Free. Then with an iPad there was no sense of using another phone other iPhone, because you won't use the ecosystem's advantages. iPhone's are too expensive, and for people who shoot a lot of photos and video, 256GB iPhone 13 was still 75k.(and honestly I don't like 13much). I'm also not a pro artist, by I do sketch and draw. I would watch a lot of films too. Also iPads issues are.. it's good for editing videos but the Storage is an issue, they connect SSD drives but not totally compatible resulting in SSD failures. Mainly I need a tab for 1.Note Taking, 2. Media Consumption, 3 Sketching. And Tab S7+ serves all. Saves money on SPen too. 48k~ is a good deal. Will buy a Galaxy S22 ultra, and get Galaxy 4 watch, for 105k. Currently I use a Redmi 9A, which is 6k phone, I've been using this since last 10 months and such bad experience in everyday use. Last good phone I used was LG G4, which got bricked in 2016.
Wow Abhijeet. You nailed it bro. Yes it’s the right decision. You have said all the right points too reg the iPads and the Galaxy tab. Ur right about the file management on iPads and the ssd issue. Unless you have an iPhone for shooting video and airdropping it to the iPad using the ssd is still a hit or miss with iPads. So yes, the decision to go Samsung is super. Also there is news of LumaFusion coming to Samsung tabs and that will be a game changer.

Tab s7+ will work great for your purpose. Updates will stop after about 3-4 years. But you can save a lot of money with the Tab S7+ The Tab S8+ is also amazing but is more expensive and bigger to handle. But of course you will Updates for longer with the S8+ as it is a newer model.

Hi Bikram. I would suggest go for the tab s7 plus since it's good value for money. It has better features over the ipad air. Since you are an android user it doesn't make much sense to get ipad. If you were an iPhone user an ipad would be good to use with it but if you compare both I would rate the tab s7 plus higher. It has a better display and you get the pen bundled with it. With ipad you have to spend extra for the Apple Pencil. With Samsung you can expand the storage. Hope this helps.

Pictures are quite nice with typical Samsung processing and brightening. Videos are good. The best part is that the front camera is in landscape mode which is super for video calls.
Hi Arun. There are some factors to consider when buying a tab. If you have an iPhone and/or MacBook then an iPad would probably make more sense and vice Versa. But both tabs are excellent on their own. In terms of pure performance I would go with the iPad but for overall value the Samsung tabs are better.

It should be available on Amazon or other online stores. Plug the USB c side of the HDMI to USB c adapter cable to the Tab s7 plus and the other end to an HDMI cable which then connects to a projector. This should work. Hope this helps. Thanks again. I don't think its Samsung Dex. The simplest way would be the same as mentioned before. Yes, MHL support should be there. Just connect the HDMI Cable to the Tab and turn on Screen Mirroring. That should work. Another option is to use a chromecast device but I dont know if that will support audio. I guess only a video signal. I am also looking up for a solution to this and will update you once I find it.
I need tablet for watching long video lectures , making notes and making PowerPoints and video editing / rendering , so what tab would be better battery wise and performance wise , S7 plus or ipad 9,10, mini 6 etc ?
For both uses I would suggest going with the iPad and of you are doing editing then the newer iPads or the iPad Air would be better which has the M1 chip. Even the older iPad pros are good for video editing. For video watching, PowerPoint any iPad would work. Samsung is also good. But video editing is a mixed bag and here the iPad is better.

@@masoomdarinda3278 anything other than editing both tablets can do. iPad would be the better choice here but Samsung tablets are cheaper. The Tab S7 plus is at a great price now and comes with an S pen. In the iPad you would have to buy the Apple Pencil separately. Both notes apps on ios and android are great for note taking and also for animated presentations. So it all comes down to budget now. You need to check what iPad you can get with the Apple Pencil and what Samsung Tab you can get which had the S pen included. Or what will be the cost of the s pen separately. I’m terms of multitasking iPad with its iPad os is better. I don’t want to confuse you but since you are a student and on a budget you need to optimise your purchase so you get a better bang for the buck. Finally two options to summarise : iPad / iPad Pro with Apple Pencil Samsung tab s7 plus incl s pen Both are over 50000 so if your budget is not so much then you need to check other alternatives. Below 50000 it’s better to go with iPad as the budget Samsung tabs are not at par with Apple.

To many options for my first "high end tablet " so as a test I bought a refurbished S7+ from Amazon, still a little pricy, but thankfully I had a discount. I mainly use the basic media viewing, basic Art, and college nursing courses.

Yes you are right. If you can stretch your budget it would be better to buy at least s8 or as9 series. In July the new Samsung tabs are launching. Maybe the prices for s8 and s9 series will fall. Also software updates for both s8 and s9 will be there for at least 3 more years which is better so that you have no speed reduction in apps and the tab will be up to date.

Hi Omar. I would recommend going for the S9 Fe as it’s more current and will be supported more in future with software updates etc from Samsung than the Tab S7 plus. Only downgrades are the display on the S9 FE which is an lcd display with 90hz whereas the tab s7 plus is an Amoled 120hz display. Hi Deepak. Sorry for the late reply. Battery life is about 6-7 hours of office work with 120hz on which includes Web Browsing, Emails, Word, Excel etc. Media consumption will make it lesser. HI Chinmoy. Thank you for commenting. Absolutely worth and quite relevant in 2022 and should last you for a couple of years. But also keep in mind that if you are in the Apple Ecosystem then the Ipad Air makes more sense. In my case I am mostly using Apple Products like Iphone and Macbook so for me an Ipad would fit better. That said you could get the Tab S7 Plus for a good price now. Right now it costs around 76,000 for the base version with 4g built in. The Keyboard case will cost you another 15,000 or so coming to around 91,000 altogether. Also Samsung should be supporting these tablets with updates for another 4 years at least so you are secure there too. So yes, to answer your question it is worth buying this tablet in 2022. Again as I mentioned if you are in an Apple ecosystem I would look more toward the iPad Air. Hi Karthik. Compared to the two I would go with Samsung. Even though it’s an older model it still has the better display and overall package. It comes bundled with the pen which you have to buy separately from One Plus. Performance wise it should be the same. The one plus pad is lighter and smaller in size. Overall I think Samsung is a better option.

Hi. The stylus was good. I hardly used it. It’s not as good as the Apple Pencil but is still very good. I had to replace the stock tips. You get them at the Samsung service center.

Hi Kanishk. I'm sure it will get sorted in some time. Make sure you keep adaptive brightness off. Also what is your screen on time that you are getting now ? The battery on tabs are usually not all that great so depending on your usage it could drain quickly especially while gaming media consumption with higher brightness. This is an amoled display which sucks a lot of power but still you should get a decent 4 to 5 hours of screen on time with this tab. I was getting it easily. So do check after some time and also don't worry. I'm sure it will sort out. 😊👍

Thank you for the questions . For your requirement in my opinion the Tab S7 plus would be quite fine. As far as I know there is no support for a wired keyboard. So this needs to be verified before. Also you cannot keep the Tab s7 plus on your lap and use it as a normal laptop. Ports are limited too. So please check your requirement and then take a decision.

Hi Vikram. Between the two I would suggest the S8 as it will get updates in future. If possible try to get a recent phone model from Samsung so that you get software updates and support for the future. Have you looked at the Samsung A series ?
Hi Shivam. The display is not in 4K, but it will not affect the quality of 4K media. Will still look absolutely gorgeous thanks to the Oled display. The screen is very good, and content will look better on your tablet than let's say a 1080p desktop monitor. Plus, the screen is capable of HDR10+, so 4K will look amazing than some run of the mill desktop monitor. You will love it.

Hi. You can absolutely buy it and it's great for note taking. Yes the ipad air is quite expensive when you factor in the extra cost for the keyboard and apple pencil. The tab s7 plus has a much better display than the ipad air and is quite well built too. I never had any green screen issue and heating is also quite acceptable. Not too much. You can go for it. But please know that the updates for the tab s7 plus may be available for only a short while but if you don't really care for that then it's a great tablet for the price 👍

You are right about the storage on the iPad. 64 gb will fill up quickly. I guess the tab s7 plus would be the better option here if you see the advantages you get over the iPad. Good Question. Specs of both are almost same. Screen quality is higher on S7 Plus and also size is bigger. You should be able to do video editing on the S8 too with the given specs ON PAPER. S8 has a newer Snapdragon chip with 4nm architecture and a better Adreno 730 GPU and 8GB of system Memory. So yes video editing can be done on the S8 too. For content consumption there should be no issue on both.

@@1396yash screen size and quality - S7 plus is better. Four years update Samsung will provide. Lag nahi hoga s7 plus. Go for S7 plus. It is better than the S8 in terms of screen size 11inch vs 12.5inch. Also S8 is normal TFT display. S7 plus is AmoLed display. Much better quality.
It's fine to go with tab s7 plus in 2023 as you will get a fantastic Tab at a good price. The display is better than the MI or one plus tabs and the overall build quality and finish is also kuch better. Samsung may offer software support for a few years more. Again, the MI or one plus tabs are also very good and they are new tabs so you will get more years of software support and updates than the tab s7 plus. It all comes down to budget and personal preference but if u were to buy a tab from the 3 brands I would go with the Tab s7 plus now.

Hi. Both tablets will work fine for 4 to 5 years. No problem. If you are using a lot of Apple products thej go for the iPad otherwise the Tab s9+ is also an amazing device. Updates will come for both for at least 3 to 4 years without problems. Build quality is also good on both devices.

Hi Yashna. Thanks for dropping by my channel. Yes it should last you for a considerable amount of time. It will do much more than word and PowerPoint. So you are totally sorted for that. Do keep in mind that it is not very comfortable to keep on the lap and type like a typical laptop. So if you are using it mostly on a desk you should be good to go. 👍

Hi Chris. Thank you for your comment. Honestly I haven’t been able to compare it with the Lenovo but in my opinion it should be much better. I don’t think anything comes close to the Samsung tab displays. Yes agree with you on Xiaomi.
Hi and thanks for the comment. If you are on a budget go for the s7 plus Wi-Fi only. Since you are on android it will be better to stick with Samsung. iPad Pro is also good but works better on the apple ecosystem. However you can still go for iPad Air which is with M1 chip and on a good price level. But I would strongly recommend Tab S7 plus since you are an Android user.
Hi I am sorry I misread. If ur not on a budget you can also go for the s8 plus but it is a 14 inch tablet and you will find it uncomfortable to hold for long durations. Also it will work better with the keyboard. Other option is iPad Pro with the magic keyboard which will be also around 1.3 lakh. The Tab s7 plus is a great option in the 70000 price range with the keyboard cover.

@@V1R4J_99 absolutely Viraj. Tab s7 plus is an amazing tablet. Still a very relevant machine in 2022. That price is a steal for what you get. Make sure you try and get the keyboard case too which gives much more usability and an almost laptop like feel. Go for it buddy. You won’t regret it.
@@Onkychonky All you have to do to check your Galaxy phone or tablet's battery health is to open its Settings app, select Device Care, scroll down to the bottom and tap Diagnostics, then tap the Battery status option. I don’t know if they have a specific battery health option like on ios.

Hi and thanks for visiting my channel. Battery life has reduced a bit. Typically I get around 5-6 hours but I don’t play games or anything graphically intensive. Mostly it’s office work, zoom calls, some TH-cam and Spotify etc. So yes over the years battery life till reduce a bit which is quite normal but you should be able to get around 7-8 hours with a new tablet which will drop to around 5-6 hours after a few years.

@@m2kaaya664 you can safely go with this tablet only. Battery life is very good and doesn’t degrade too much. A little degradation is always expected from any device. But the Samsung Tab s7 plus has a very solid battery life. It all depends on what you do. If you play a lot of games etc the battery will be shorter but with college stuff and office type of work it will last you minimum 7-8 hours and then after about 2 years that will decrease a bit. This will be same with any tablet you buy. Samsung has the best Oled panel. The best processor and best interface and overall package with the s pen included and there are not many other tablets in the market that can match this package. So you can safely go with this tablet s7 plus. The other option is iPad but to get the same specs and display you have to increase your budget. So I would strongly recommend the tab s7 plus. Another option is the tab s8 plus - the latest one but for a student it doesn’t make much sense. The screen is also too big 14inches and it’s a bit difficult to use as a daily use tablet. The tab s7 plus is the perfect combination of size, weight, features, power and package. Go ahead with it. You will love it.

Hi Aspirant. Thanks for commenting. Yea you are right. 64gb will be just not enough in future with the size of apps and updates. The S7 plus is a better deal if you compare. It is excellent for both gaming and note taking. Of course it’s about 12 inches so compared to Air 5 it is bigger so you need to keep that in mind.

Hi. I had no issue at all since 2020 with the display. All fine. But i have also heard about Samsung displays having that green tint issue. I have a note 9 which also had the same issue and I had to replace the display. But my Tab did not have it. So it can happen but rarely and if it does then Samsung will replace it for sure. I don’t think there should be any issue. You can go for it confidently.

Yes it’s still a very good tablet to buy in 2023. If you are not doing 3d Animation or very intensive Applications this tab should be just fine for a couple of years more. The Updates mau stop after about 3 years.

Hi Prathmesh. Thanks for the compliment. 1) yes it will last for 4 years easily. 2) Doesn’t overheat. Depends on what you do with the tab. If you play a lot of games for hours- obviously it will get warm but I have never experienced overheating. 3) No lag at all. But maybe if you have a lot of tabs open it may lag but the tab is quite powerful and will take a lot to slow it down.

Hello Mausam. Both the tabs are excellent. You will get a good deal on the tab 7plus and it is still a very good tablet. The 8plus is newer but still a few years old already. The ipad is an amazing tablet too. But, as a value for money proposition, I think the Samsung Tab S7 plus is better. Also, it depends which ecosystem you are in - If you have an iphone or mac the ipad will be a better choice as you can use the ipad as a second display with your macbook and you can use airdrop etc with your iphone. But if you dont have other apple products then the Samsung would be slightly better since you get a bit more for the same money. Also the Display on the Samsung is Amoled which is better than apple with a high refresh rate. So if you are going for a standalone tablet I would go for the Tab S7 plus. Hope this helps in your buying decision.
The tab s7 plus has reduced in price. That is a great tab at that price. Otherwise the s8 plus is the ultimate experience. But it is expensive. So all depends on your budget too.
Hi Vinay. Thanks for your support and comment. No lags at all. Of course if you keep a lot of tabs open in the browser there are small lags but nothing to break your workflow. Software has also been updated with new features. As on date I have sold the Tab to a friend and am using the iPad Pro. Since I am on a complete apple ecosystem. But the tab in itself is quite powerful and should serve you for many years without a hitch.

Hi Sahil. Yes it’s very much relevant in 2022. You will also get few more years support from Samsung. If you go with the s8 it is more expensive. The s7 plus is a great buy even now. See if you get a good deal on it. I shall also check if I can get something for you.

Hi Matthew. Thanks for the comment and support. Battery is doing fine but has deteriorated a little. I still get around 5-6 hours is mixed use on a charge which is very dependent on what you are doing with the tab.
Nothing major. The area near the top of the keyboard on the keyboard case gets warm with prolonged use but it’s nothing to worry about. Apart from that the Tab itself doesn’t get heated up excessively. At least I haven’t noticed it in my 2 years of use.

I've plugged a wireless receiver into the i/o socket to connect a mouse if I need it and a bluetooth keyboard works fine - unlike the Lenevo which somehow would often garble the input. Battery life seems good. In short I'm very pleased with it

Hi. I did not experience this kind of heating. It did get warm but after a prolonged use. Also depends on what kind of usage. With normal web browsing and office work it did get warm but after about 20 mins or so and that too nothing alarming. Hope this helps.

Thank you for the comments. Really sorry to have missed out on those points. Yes the S Pen tip has worn off and I had to get new ones from the Samsung service center. Battery life degradation has happened but not too severe. I see one or two hours shaved off in normal every day use. Performance wise it still runs reasonably fast. I am not a power user and don’t play too many games. Use the tab mainly for office and browsing the web and sometimes Netflix and performance has always been consistent even to this day. To address the biased part I can clarify that I am absolutely unbiased with any brand and don’t get paid for sure by anyone to talk for or against any brand. It’s my personal experiences good and bad that I share. But yes your suggestions are well taken and will make sure to incorporate these points in future reviews. Thanks 🙏

Hi Bibhukalyan. Both iPad 9 and Tab series are great for note taking. The tab s7+ has the advantage of the 120hz display and the bundled pen. iPad 9 you will have to buy the Apple Pencil extra but the iPad 9 is cheaper than the Samsung Tab s7 plus so the cost will be nearly the same. I found it easier to draw and take notes on the Samsung tabs. On the iPads it’s a very hard and glass like feeling. Feels more natural on the Samsung tab while drawing and taking notes. Also which phone do you use as the ecosystem will also matter in the long term. If android then better to choose a Samsung tab and vice Versa. Hope I was able to help 👍

Hey Sahil. Thanks for watching my video and supporting my channel. Yes you can buy this tab as it is still quite good in 2024. No need to spend extra money on the latest tab as this one will get most of the things done for you. You mentioned 6/128. It all depends on what you are going to use this tab for. If you store a lot of data and games the space could run out but if just using for emails, web browsing etc this should do just fine. As for the price, you can negotiate heavily as this is an older model. I won't be able to comment much on the pricing without seeing the condition of the tab he is selling. But in any case, please check for wear and tear before buying if it is a used tab. If new, then it's even better and if there is any Warranty left on it that's also fine. Once again negotiate hard. The tab is really a good buy even today. Hope that helps👍

On cashify the tab seems to be going for 25 to 30k, I only have a budget of 15k max. I don't know if he will give it to me for this low. Hey Sahil brother. Always happy to help. Are you sure you want to buy this tab since it already has a line etc. Please be careful with your money. Have you checked on olx and Facebook marketplace as well ? You may get some good deals there. I don't it's worth putting in money for a faulty tab. After all 15000 is also not a small amount. I shall also check on olx if there is something in that budget and if I come across I'll surely let you know. By the way I use Google Keep notes now since it is universlly available for use on Mac Pc Android and iOS. You could check it out too. Hope that helps.

I am going into Film college and I need a sufficient setup for my work.
Till yesterday, I made up my mind to buy IPAD Pro 11, on student discount it was 68k + 2nd Gen Airpods Free.
Then with an iPad there was no sense of using another phone other iPhone, because you won't use the ecosystem's advantages. iPhone's are too expensive, and for people who shoot a lot of photos and video, 256GB iPhone 13 was still 75k.(and honestly I don't like 13much).
I'm also not a pro artist, by I do sketch and draw.
I would watch a lot of films too.
Also iPads issues are.. it's good for editing videos but the Storage is an issue, they connect SSD drives but not totally compatible resulting in SSD failures.
Mainly I need a tab for 1.Note Taking, 2. Media Consumption, 3 Sketching.
And Tab S7+ serves all. Saves money on SPen too.
48k~ is a good deal. Will buy a Galaxy S22 ultra, and get Galaxy 4 watch, for 105k.
Currently I use a Redmi 9A, which is 6k phone, I've been using this since last 10 months and such bad experience in everyday use.
Last good phone I used was LG G4, which got bricked in 2016.
Wow Abhijeet. You nailed it bro. Yes it’s the right decision. You have said all the right points too reg the iPads and the Galaxy tab. Ur right about the file management on iPads and the ssd issue. Unless you have an iPhone for shooting video and airdropping it to the iPad using the ssd is still a hit or miss with iPads. So yes, the decision to go Samsung is super. Also there is news of LumaFusion coming to Samsung tabs and that will be a game changer.

Tab s7+ will work great for your purpose. Updates will stop after about 3-4 years. But you can save a lot of money with the Tab S7+
The Tab S8+ is also amazing but is more expensive and bigger to handle. But of course you will Updates for longer with the S8+ as it is a newer model.

Hi Bikram. I would suggest go for the tab s7 plus since it's good value for money. It has better features over the ipad air. Since you are an android user it doesn't make much sense to get ipad. If you were an iPhone user an ipad would be good to use with it but if you compare both I would rate the tab s7 plus higher. It has a better display and you get the pen bundled with it. With ipad you have to spend extra for the Apple Pencil. With Samsung you can expand the storage. Hope this helps.

Pictures are quite nice with typical Samsung processing and brightening. Videos are good. The best part is that the front camera is in landscape mode which is super for video calls.

Hi Arun. There are some factors to consider when buying a tab. If you have an iPhone and/or MacBook then an iPad would probably make more sense and vice Versa. But both tabs are excellent on their own. In terms of pure performance I would go with the iPad but for overall value the Samsung tabs are better.

Hello Mohammad. Thank you for watching my video and subscribing to my channel. You can connect the tab s7 + to a projector by using a USB C to HDMI adapter cable. It should be available on Amazon or other online stores. Plug the USB c side of the HDMI to USB c adapter cable to the Tab s7 plus and the other end to an HDMI cable which then connects to a projector. This should work. Hope this helps. Thanks again. I don't think its Samsung Dex. The simplest way would be the same as mentioned before. Yes, MHL support should be there. Just connect the HDMI Cable to the Tab and turn on Screen Mirroring. That should work. Another option is to use a chromecast device but I dont know if that will support audio. I guess only a video signal. I am also looking up for a solution to this and will update you once I find it.
I need tablet for watching long video lectures , making notes and making PowerPoints and video editing / rendering , so what tab would be better battery wise and performance wise , S7 plus or ipad 9,10, mini 6 etc ?
For both uses I would suggest going with the iPad and of you are doing editing then the newer iPads or the iPad Air would be better which has the M1 chip. Even the older iPad pros are good for video editing. For video watching, PowerPoint any iPad would work. Samsung is also good. But video editing is a mixed bag and here the iPad is better.

@@masoomdarinda3278 anything other than editing both tablets can do. iPad would be the better choice here but Samsung tablets are cheaper. The Tab S7 plus is at a great price now and comes with an S pen. In the iPad you would have to buy the Apple Pencil separately. Both notes apps on ios and android are great for note taking and also for animated presentations. So it all comes down to budget now. You need to check what iPad you can get with the Apple Pencil and what Samsung Tab you can get which had the S pen included. Or what will be the cost of the s pen separately. I’m terms of multitasking iPad with its iPad os is better. I don’t want to confuse you but since you are a student and on a budget you need to optimise your purchase so you get a better bang for the buck. Finally two options to summarise :
iPad / iPad Pro with Apple Pencil
Samsung tab s7 plus incl s pen
Both are over 50000 so if your budget is not so much then you need to check other alternatives. Below 50000 it’s better to go with iPad as the budget Samsung tabs are not at par with Apple.

Yes you are right. If you can stretch your budget it would be better to buy at least s8 or as9 series. In July the new Samsung tabs are launching. Maybe the prices for s8 and s9 series will fall. Also software updates for both s8 and s9 will be there for at least 3 more years which is better so that you have no speed reduction in apps and the tab will be up to date.

Hi Omar. I would recommend going for the S9 Fe as it’s more current and will be supported more in future with software updates etc from Samsung than the Tab S7 plus. Only downgrades are the display on the S9 FE which is an lcd display with 90hz whereas the tab s7 plus is an Amoled 120hz display. If you are ok with it and also the S9 Fe is a smaller sized tab then the S9 Fe is the better choice to buy now in 2023. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching my video and do subscribe to my channel. HI Chinmoy. Thank you for commenting. Absolutely worth and quite relevant in 2022 and should last you for a couple of years. But also keep in mind that if you are in the Apple Ecosystem then the Ipad Air makes more sense. In my case I am mostly using Apple Products like Iphone and Macbook so for me an Ipad would fit better. That said you could get the Tab S7 Plus for a good price now. Right now it costs around 76,000 for the base version with 4g built in. The Keyboard case will cost you another 15,000 or so coming to around 91,000 altogether. Also Samsung should be supporting these tablets with updates for another 4 years at least so you are secure there too. So yes, to answer your question it is worth buying this tablet in 2022. Again as I mentioned if you are in an Apple ecosystem I would look more toward the iPad Air. Hi Karthik. Compared to the two I would go with Samsung. Even though it’s an older model it still has the better display and overall package. It comes bundled with the pen which you have to buy separately from One Plus. Performance wise it should be the same. The one plus pad is lighter and smaller in size. Overall I think Samsung is a better option.

How was your experience with the stylus? Did you use it on a regular basis or casually. Unlike apple, there is no original tip replacement offered by Samsung. Is is durable enough or what should one do if it corrodes over time?
Hi. The stylus was good. I hardly used it. It’s not as good as the Apple Pencil but is still very good. I had to replace the stock tips. You get them at the Samsung service center.

Hi Kanishk. I'm sure it will get sorted in some time. Make sure you keep adaptive brightness off. Also what is your screen on time that you are getting now ? The battery on tabs are usually not all that great so depending on your usage it could drain quickly especially while gaming media consumption with higher brightness. This is an amoled display which sucks a lot of power but still you should get a decent 4 to 5 hours of screen on time with this tab. I was getting it easily. So do check after some time and also don't worry. I'm sure it will sort out. 😊👍

Thank you for the questions . For your requirement in my opinion the Tab S7 plus would be quite fine. As far as I know there is no support for a wired keyboard. So this needs to be verified before. Also you cannot keep the Tab s7 plus on your lap and use it as a normal laptop. Ports are limited too. So please check your requirement and then take a decision.

Hi Shivam. The display is not in 4K, but it will not affect the quality of 4K media. Will still look absolutely gorgeous thanks to the Oled display. The screen is very good, and content will look better on your tablet than let's say a 1080p desktop monitor. Plus, the screen is capable of HDR10+, so 4K will look amazing than some run of the mill desktop monitor. You will love it.

Hi. You can absolutely buy it and it's great for note taking. Yes the ipad air is quite expensive when you factor in the extra cost for the keyboard and apple pencil. The tab s7 plus has a much better display than the ipad air and is quite well built too. I never had any green screen issue and heating is also quite acceptable. Not too much. You can go for it. But please know that the updates for the tab s7 plus may be available for only a short while but if you don't really care for that then it's a great tablet for the price 👍

You are right about the storage on the iPad. 64 gb will fill up quickly. I guess the tab s7 plus would be the better option here if you see the advantages you get over the iPad. Good Question. Specs of both are almost same. Screen quality is higher on S7 Plus and also size is bigger. You should be able to do video editing on the S8 too with the given specs ON PAPER. S8 has a newer Snapdragon chip with 4nm architecture and a better Adreno 730 GPU and 8GB of system Memory. So yes video editing can be done on the S8 too. For content consumption there should be no issue on both.

It's fine to go with tab s7 plus in 2023 as you will get a fantastic Tab at a good price. The display is better than the MI or one plus tabs and the overall build quality and finish is also kuch better. Samsung may offer software support for a few years more. Again, the MI or one plus tabs are also very good and they are new tabs so you will get more years of software support and updates than the tab s7 plus. It all comes down to budget and personal preference but if u were to buy a tab from the 3 brands I would go with the Tab s7 plus now.

Hi. Both tablets will work fine for 4 to 5 years. No problem. If you are using a lot of Apple products thej go for the iPad otherwise the Tab s9+ is also an amazing device. Updates will come for both for at least 3 to 4 years without problems. Build quality is also good on both devices.

Since you are on android it will be better to stick with Samsung. iPad Pro is also good but works better on the apple ecosystem. However you can still go for iPad Air which is with M1 chip and on a good price level. But I would strongly recommend Tab S7 plus since you are an Android user.

Hi I am sorry I misread. If ur not on a budget you can also go for the s8 plus but it is a 14 inch tablet and you will find it uncomfortable to hold for long durations. Also it will work better with the keyboard. Other option is iPad Pro with the magic keyboard which will be also around 1.3 lakh. The Tab s7 plus is a great option in the 70000 price range with the keyboard cover.

Hi and thanks for visiting my channel. Battery life has reduced a bit. Typically I get around 5-6 hours but I don’t play games or anything graphically intensive. Mostly it’s office work, zoom calls, some TH-cam and Spotify etc. So yes over the years battery life till reduce a bit which is quite normal but you should be able to get around 7-8 hours with a new tablet which will drop to around 5-6 hours after a few years.

But the Samsung Tab s7 plus has a very solid battery life. It all depends on what you do. If you play a lot of games etc the battery will be shorter but with college stuff and office type of work it will last you minimum 7-8 hours and then after about 2 years that will decrease a bit. This will be same with any tablet you buy. Samsung has the best Oled panel. The best processor and best interface and overall package with the s pen included and there are not many other tablets in the market that can match this package. So you can safely go with this tablet s7 plus. The other option is iPad but to get the same specs and display you have to increase your budget. So I would strongly recommend the tab s7 plus. Another option is the tab s8 plus - the latest one but for a student it doesn’t make much sense. The screen is also too big 14inches and it’s a bit difficult to use as a daily use tablet. The tab s7 plus is the perfect combination of size, weight, features, power and package. Go ahead with it. You will love it.
Did you get any problems like lines in display or reduced battery life after recent one ui 5. Update? My note 20 ultra got lines and scared to do update in my tab
Nothing like that seen with the new update. If you are not sure wait with the update.

Hi Aspirant. Thanks for commenting. Yea you are right. 64gb will be just not enough in future with the size of apps and updates. The S7 plus is a better deal if you compare. It is excellent for both gaming and note taking. Of course it’s about 12 inches so compared to Air 5 it is bigger so you need to keep that in mind.

Hi. I had no issue at all since 2020 with the display. All fine. But i have also heard about Samsung displays having that green tint issue. I have a note 9 which also had the same issue and I had to replace the display. But my Tab did not have it. So it can happen but rarely and if it does then Samsung will replace it for sure. I don’t think there should be any issue. You can go for it confidently.

Yes it’s still a very good tablet to buy in 2023. If you are not doing 3d Animation or very intensive Applications this tab should be just fine for a couple of years more. The Updates mau stop after about 3 years.

1) yes it will last for 4 years easily.
2) Doesn’t overheat. Depends on what you do with the tab. If you play a lot of games for hours- obviously it will get warm but I have never experienced overheating.
3) No lag at all. But maybe if you have a lot of tabs open it may lag but the tab is quite powerful and will take a lot to slow it down.

Hello Mausam. Both the tabs are excellent. You will get a good deal on the tab 7plus and it is still a very good tablet. The 8plus is newer but still a few years old already. The ipad is an amazing tablet too. But, as a value for money proposition, I think the Samsung Tab S7 plus is better. Also, it depends which ecosystem you are in - If you have an iphone or mac the ipad will be a better choice as you can use the ipad as a second display with your macbook and you can use airdrop etc with your iphone. But if you dont have other apple products then the Samsung would be slightly better since you get a bit more for the same money. Also the Display on the Samsung is Amoled which is better than apple with a high refresh rate. So if you are going for a standalone tablet I would go for the Tab S7 plus. Hope this helps in your buying decision.

The tab s7 plus has reduced in price. That is a great tab at that price. Otherwise the s8 plus is the ultimate experience. But it is expensive. So all depends on your budget too.

Hi Vinay. Thanks for your support and comment. No lags at all. Of course if you keep a lot of tabs open in the browser there are small lags but nothing to break your workflow. Software has also been updated with new features. As on date I have sold the Tab to a friend and am using the iPad Pro. Since I am on a complete apple ecosystem. But the tab in itself is quite powerful and should serve you for many years without a hitch.

How is the battery after 2 years?
Hi Matthew. Thanks for the comment and support. Battery is doing fine but has deteriorated a little. I still get around 5-6 hours is mixed use on a charge which is very dependent on what you are doing with the tab.

Nothing major. The area near the top of the keyboard on the keyboard case gets warm with prolonged use but it’s nothing to worry about. Apart from that the Tab itself doesn’t get heated up excessively. At least I haven’t noticed it in my 2 years of use.
