Very nice and informative, thanks! As a side note, when you purchase the Ergopower shifters, brand new from the manufacturer, they come with the shifting cable already fed inside the hoods, so the only thing you need to do is insert the brake cable, that also comes in the box. I'm planning to install my 12s Chorus groupset later in the year, how does it fare compared to older groupsets? (I'm upgrading from a 10s Veloce)

Right shifter install seems to be different, can't insert cable in to the guide to begin with
