I do not like the fact you loose room for the passenger. Wonder what options are out there and the others you mentioned would be. Could not understand the name because mic was low.

How does this compare with your F6b?

Gordon, if you're asking how the FJR1300 compares to the Honda F6B...OMG...I love my new FJR1300. I don't miss my F6B one bit. The maneuverability, the speed, the ability to split lanes easier, the heated grips (way better than the F6B), the adjustable windshield, cruise control...all better than the F6B. Honda is not known for their heated grips...very weak because they are a very conservative company and don't want to grips to be too hot. The F6B is much wider and longer than the FJR. Plus, the F6B was much lower to the ground, so I had to be cautious when making turns with it because I'd scrape. Both bikes are super reliable, but they are a different. If you are looking for a touring bike that you will be riding two-up on...go with the F6B. If you primarily ride single and want more of the sport feel...then go with the FJR1300. The FJR (2016 and up) has six gears, verse five for the F6B. Maintenance wise...both are pretty easy to maintain (even a girl can do it :) ). The only thing with the F6B is, the air filter is a pain in the ass to change, because you'd have to remove a bunch of plastic to get to it and dealers hate dealing with the air filter change...they will inflate the cost to change it. If you get the FJR1300ES version, that one has electronic suspension, which is great for those who really want to customize their ride if they go from touring to twisties, or if they ride two up, or carry a lot of luggage for a trip. For me...I primarily ride single, and know how to pack light when I go on trips...so I decided to save the money and get the 1300A version.

From a constructor's point of view, it's not good.
