Hello, Thank you for the excellent video. I have a question about installing the Metra kit. I want to install a Pioneer head unit ( DMX706S) with dimensions 178 × 100 × 75 mm. Will it be a challenge to get a proper fit or do I need to dremel the Metra faceplate? How many millimeters do I need to shave off? Shouldn’t the head unit be flush with the faceplate after installation? The top portion of my head unit is recessed a few millimeters. Do I have to dremel out a lot of the top side of the faceplate to make it flush with the head unit?

What resistor do we need?

I used your video as my go to for my 2005 lexus rx330 install. Everything works as expected but the sound just sounds horrible. Wonder if you or anyone else experience worse audio quality with after market stereos and can this be fixed?

I just installed a dual camera on my 05 FJR1300 and got it on Amazon for $29.95! Much smaller platform. Like 90% smaller! Brand: Pumpa Dual channel, night vision, 170 wide angle

hi , good video, recently i buy a 2005 rx330 , and i don’t have navigation display and backup camera, i saw a lot of om navigation display until for 2007-08 @ 250$ , my question is, this display connecting plug will fit my radio and cd device?

Is this the same installing procedure with chinese ones?

Done this afternoon....! On a 2018 AE. And effectively... what a changing....! The position is as i would have expected it originally... But at 8:13 i had to do the oposite because it was too painfull otherwise. THANKS A LOT Vicki for this great help ! <3

I just purchased a 2024 FJR 1300 and I have already adjusted the bars to the back. Still not sure what I might do to make it more comfortable? I've been looking into Bar Risers and I was glad to come across your video, because it looks like the best way to go. Much less intrusive than The Bar Risers that just raise the bars without coming towards you, and it looks like an easier install. Still breaking in the new engine and I'm quite impressed with this new Bike! I also own a 1990 Yamaha VMax, and a 1998 Suzuki 1500 LC. The FJR is Quite Impressive, plus I'm acclaimating to all of the new technology! Thanks for the great video, and a bit of advice when using a Torque Wrench: Left hand on Pivot Point, Right Hand on end of wrench, feet in a forward stance ( Left foot forward, Right foot back). This will reduce the chances of slipping on the nut or bolt that you are tightening, and give you better control and leverage.🙂

Just installed the MV Riser Plate.Thanks to your detailed video it was a joy to follow your steps. agree, the ball is not in a good position for the navagation system, blocks the view. need a solution for that. with compliments!!

I’ve bought the Kirkland batteries and they only last a few days ( if I’m lucky maybe a week). I’ve been using the AAA for the TV remote and it’s been my experience with the Kirkland brand batteries not lasting long to where I’m having to replace them every few days (maybe every two weeks) and finally I’m having to go back to buy more. I think I’ll start buying the other brand they sell just to see if it’s worth buying.

I had been in a similar situation. These types need an acre of land in the opposite direction to make the turn without blinkers on. In their previous incarnation, they were most likely tractor-trailer drivers.

FINALLY an installer knows that the console slides back.

Did you install EFI controller or reflash the ECU afterwards?

You have given me the confidence I need to take on this project in my 05 RX330. My only question is using your phone hands free, with the microphone located where you put it was there any issues with call clarity thru the mike.

Great job!!! I just put them on my 2016. The instructions that came with the risers was unclear at best. Really helped watching how you did it. LOVE the risers. Thanks much.
