F & F entertainment, though they’re a newbie in KPOP platform but they’re not exactly midsize coz F & F is a giant player in Clothing industry in Korea. This company has Trillion dollar on their Portfolio. So when they venture into Entertainment business, they’re already considered a Juggernaut coz they have Financial muscle to play with the big four! as evident with their recent promotions of UNIS with their Musics videos and tours! They’re all expensive and well budgeted! UNIS is gonna be big someday! I would go as far they will be the next New Jeans, AESPA, or maybe next Twice!🙂
So basically what you are saying is, the business model, for small companies isn't working anymore. They have to restructure and rethink how marketing is done, specially for a new company or group. HYBE is trying to change that but it is failing, since HYBE still wants to micro manage everything. That is why, hate her or love her, Lisa was super smart by partnering with RCA Rec. She gets to use their vast resources while keeping control of her own music and label. They do get a chunk of her earnings, how much? No idea, but it is a win win for her. By any accounts RCA gets back its investment plus some. Anyway, it would be wiser, specially for smaller labels to actually partner with a bigger label specially for distribution purposes. Keep itself independent, and not be micromanage by the bigger label.
What hybe is not trying to micro manage anything it's just trying to survive they literally have only 11 groups and you new kpop stans say hybe is a monopoly while there is kakao who has 118 subsidiaries imagine the amount of groups they have under each subsidiary while hybe has only 5 subsidiaries 😢
@@Arielaarmy-k7i kakao isn't part of the big 4. Kakao is a internet conglomerate and has nothing to do with music, as far as my knowledge goes. If you are talking about Kakao music, melon and potplay? It is a music sharing app they manage.
Even is some groups are in the Big 4 some are still forgotten in the industry or not so much put in front compared with the other groups like Fromis9 who only has a comeback once a year.
But &team has a lot of fans especially in japan and it's their 2 year they will grow TWS and boynextdoor need to also growand illit too they all don't have a huge fanbase but they will grow
&team has a large fanbase especially in japan its not huge but they will grow it's their 2nd year, same goes for TWS and boynextdoor they also don't have a huge fanbase like newjeans had but they will grow and also illit will grow to build their fanbase
It rebranded to HYBE corporation, not label. All the labels under HYBE have separate CEO and management teams. I guess people are still confused so they usually blame HYBE for everything instead of blaming the individual label. That is why you can't categorize HYBE as big 4 since other 3 are labels. Kpop has always been controlled by the big 3 for decades, and nobody cared. Suddenly, they care when HYBE got bigger.
No Min Woo - aka Minue and Icon , was in Traxx and he's very talented ! I find it hard to believe that Traxx didn't last . I read that the company that he was with owed him money . He sued but did not win. These companies are something else . 😢😢
This video does remind how back in the day Cube Entertainment was one of the few agency that could give the Big 3 (back then) a run for their money. Cause back then Cube had one of the best rosters, musically and financially.
I wish people would stop saying BIG 4, because Hybe is not an agency but a label, unlike YG, JYPE and SM. Secondly, Hybe has much less experience than the other 3 agencies. At any moment, the label could collapse because the base isn't solid. Finally, Hybe doesn't have the same trainee programs as the other 3, which is why it is criticized for focusing on visuals rather than talent. Too many bands start out on the label without sufficient experience in singing, dancing, rapping and stage presence. In conclusion, respect BIG 3, because they're the ones who have changed the kpop industry. Without them, there'd be no BTS and kpop wouldn't be known internationally.
I say sm but K-pop wasn’t even know internationally it was only in Japan Korea and china but due to bts psy and bp K-pop is wide spread the big three is only a title.

UNIS is decently known. That 7 million is probably used for the survival show and not UNIS. Let's be real here, Any survival show that isn't broadcast by Mnet will have a small chance of success unless it is handle by the Big 4, eg. RUnext by JTBC. Look at MBC' survival shows debut group where are they? SBS universe ticket debut group should've flopped because it has a low broadcast ratings BUT UNIS is getting Hot Topics, Getting awards and Concert Invites left and right. Yes they are not as Big as Illit or BabyMonster but are flourishing well enough unlike other survival show groups that aren't broadcast by mnet.

Hybe is never a label but a cooperation and bighit label is still independent..if hybe gonna perish all the other sub labels will have to go through ruins but bighit will be still be unaffected
HYBE will never do something to hurt the labels because HYBE shareholder's money are put in the labels. So, HYBE will do everything to provide good environment for the labels.
AOA situation would have been better handled at big agency with better resources. Talent will find a way up regardless of agency size but the relationship and crises management issues require resources.
This whole Hybe monopolising the industry is really alarming. Atp they're just debuting new groups without proper training and they neglect they're older groups
I can also say that the big companies are the worst, as is the case with EXO. They do not take their financial dues, and look at what the courts have turned into.
What it does not because hybe is bigger than the big 3 combined instead you should say hybe is a cooperation and has individual subsidiaries which have their own ceo and management it is not a label unlike the big 3😂😂

De novo, o que é bem triste porque tem muita gente talentosa em grupos menos conhecidos
BTS became as big as they are because they make really good music that is relatable to a vast majority. Because they had no status or power they used TH-cam to connect to their fans. The reason why every K-pop group is now using TH-cam and following the blueprint is because it works. If any group want to breakout and become more well known then their music needs to have substance and make people feel something when they listen. I knew about K-pop since SNSD and wonder girls but I got bored and left and didn’t start enjoying it again until my sister showed me BTS.
A focus on the circumstance of Ateez & KIOF, it's just disappointing & sad to see genuine talent be overshadowed by, let's be brutally honest about some of them, very mid(at best) groups just because they're backed by a multi-million dollar conglomerate that pays to cover-up their deficiencies and manipulate media corps to promote them 'til high heaven. And another funny thing is, we associate short training periods with small or medium agencies when a certain conglomerate is still stuck to this ideology to save a bit of cash that's why it kinda reflects with their certain groups looking somewhat undercooked. Not saying anyone in specific; I'll just let you formulate any connection from it. Btw, multi-stan over here but I don't put any of them on a pedistal; I praise them(either member/s, the group, company, or any combination of the 3) on things they do right but also critic on those lapses, misses, and anything that was inherently wrong. Just being fair and just while also doing adequate research in forming conclusions.

its funny how ppl say there is no big four bcoz hype is not influential but than cry saying hybe is ruining kpop which is which
which is why (G)i-dle are impressive for the success they gained even though they debuted in a very competitive year in 2018 with barely any promotions.. Queens!
BTS is the only reason I even knew Kpop existed. Spotify randomly started playing their song Fire and I was hooked.
Me too! I discovered BTS the day 'Butter' was released and before that, I had not even heard of K-pop. After watching a few of their MVs, I watched a few MVs by other K-pop groups, then I knew what K-pop is.
KQ and ATEEZ really are impression
Why is Fromis_9 never included when it comes to talking about HYBE I thought they were also under them too ☝️🐺
I believe it is crazy that people blame HYBE when it is Pledis keeping them in the dungeon, Fromis_9 imo are likely the most talented gg in HYBE, maybe people need to get Pledis instead of attacking HYBE all the time
Obvious Pledis Favor's their boy group's
@@Ha-young_is_Just_Too_Fine Yeah I understand where u r coming from and ik Pledis plays a main role for Fromis_9. But like my point was that fans overlook Fromis_9 when discussing HYBE groups in general. It's not just about blaming a specific company bcuz I'm talking about raising more awareness and support for Fromis_9 within HYBE. Tbh they deserve more attention and recognition from fans and the industry as a whole. Bye cuz I agree w u on them being the most talented group there but they are directing their attention towards debuting minors rn so idk lmao. Fromis_9's having a comeback in August (THAT WILL EAT) and then leaving that garbage company next year tho 🌺🌺🌺
What are you even saying what is hybe doing in your comment its ridiculous 😂😂
4:24 of course &team and fromis_9 are out of your vision girl as usual
True👏👏👏👏😭
I have been trying to explain this to anties but didn't know how😭
Exactly!!
they are jealous of HYBE 😅
1:07 Lee Soo Man stated that SM was also inspired by the Motown trainee system
WE SAW UNIS!😱🌌🌠 THE COMEBACK IS 🔥 AUGUST 6 MARK YOUR CALENDARS🤙
No Min Woo - aka Minue and Icon , was in Traxx and he's very talented ! I find it hard to believe that Traxx didn't last . I read that the company that he was with owed him money . He sued but did not win. These companies are something else . 😢😢
This video does remind how back in the day Cube Entertainment was one of the few agency that could give the Big 3 (back then) a run for their money. Cause back then Cube had one of the best rosters, musically and financially.
I had no idea that Snoop Dogg and SNSD collaborated on a remix for “the boys”. It’s actually really awesome! ❤️

I can’t get this video at all.. like what are you trying to say?? This is how Kpop works not comparing the best Kpop labels in 2024🤷🏻♀️
When i read the title... i expected it will compare the vocals, live singing, dances, raps, visuals of groups from big4 companies... i would love to watch of you make a video of that
Yes hybe has average vocals , SM AND YG have lazy dancers like blackpink did not even entertain their fans like performace are supposed to do because they don't even write their own songs 😂😂😂
@@Arielaarmy-k7i im sorry for NCT if you include them in lazy dancers... like who on earth would dance on hoverboards other than them? Dont call them lazy if you dont watch choreo of firetruck, cherry bomb, black on black, ayyo, chewing gum, my first and last, punch, etc
where did you get that idea of SM being a lazy dancers?....
There is no such thing as BIG FOUR
It's BIG THREE + HYBE ☠️☠️☠️☠️
Cry about it even the knetizens call them the big four but i prefer not because hybe was made by bts and it is the top entertainment group beating all 3 combined with their sales and profit and only having 11 groups while kakao has 118 subsidiaries they are amazing 😂🎉🎉
yeah as the kendrick verse states "mf the big 3,nig@@ it's just big me" 🗣️🗣️🔥🔥

we all know cube has the best producer: soyeon
MAMAMOO is another example of small groups from small companies that made it big and are still active today 10 years after their debut (their company is rbw).
This is so heartbreaking omg 😢... knowing myself i would have given up long ago
It is normal for a clothing brand like FnF ain’t that well known. It’s like comparing two companies one is made for idols and one is for clothing brand trying to produce a girl group
WJSN was my first kpop group and I’ll always support starship
to be honest the companies which do not come in big 4 are making new good groups
Out of curiosity would FNC entertainment count as a rock company because most of there artist where rock bands apart from AOA and SF9 which was there first dances groups in that company at that time
8:10 the group is called UNIS, not Un1verse

BTS themselves built big hit and kpop lool
It's was and will be hard for small groups to be recognized and achieve success. BUT it can be done with talent and determination. Some of the best groups in kpop come from small companies.
Its insane to me how much bts has changed the kpop industry and how they still get hated on for no reason.
Sick people are all around....
I think we should talk about IVE too ain't no way we not including them in conversation when in just less than 3 years they become best selling gg and one of the biggest 4th gen idol group
ikrrr IVE really knows how to keep fans invested in them. they are the only group who can do that to me. not to mention starship is cra p
It get's on my nerves when fans of groups from big companies make fun of other groups. OFC they aren't making it big cause y'all only know how to spread hatred towards other groups
A group like mirae has now disband😢 and some groups like zb1 which are contractual what will happen to them😢
This video basically proving BTS paved the way❤❤❤❤
Every time I even see the word “Hybe”, I feel disgusted. I cannot stand Bang PD. He’s like this massive supervillain. He’s power hungry and morally corrupt now when he seemed so nice, accommodating, and even endearing during BTS’s early days. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. He is the embodiment of that proverbial phrase.
Big 3 is big 3 not becoming 4😂
PLEASE.. Can you put a story about A.C.E being the All rounder group but Still underrated After 7 YEARS. And still didn't get 1st win because they're from a small company.. They work really hard for this industry. I really appreciate it so much if you make it❤
I love KPOP too .
Idiot says some shit like no shareholders on those hybe shit 😂😂😂😂 keep dreaming bein jongkook wife kiddos
AOA situation would have been better handled at big agency with better resources. Talent will find a way up regardless of agency size but the relationship and crises management issues require resources.
Hybe is not a good company. They over work their artists
Where is the evidence of that?
Then No agency is good lmfao
There is no such thing as best kpop labels...
Can we just agree all companies are bad some worst then others but they all mistreat their idols some way or another
Nuest join produce 101 s2 not produce x 101 😅
This whole Hybe monopolising the industry is really alarming. Atp they're just debuting new groups without proper training and they neglect they're older groups
I can also say that the big companies are the worst, as is the case with EXO. They do not take their financial dues, and look at what the courts have turned into.
The essence of KPOP is lost because of HYBE...
That what y’all say the idols who are debuting are appreciating them

There is no Big4. BTS made hybe what is now but that doesnt mean it deserves the place alongside JYPE, SME and yge.

Second gen was so much fun ugh!! Miss the good old days
