I bought this because I have been looking for a headset that can be both wired and wireless, I just discovered that I can connect to my 4k tv wired and wireless on my pc at the same time, I just lower the volume on one of the device if I want to listen to just one, but you can listen to both device if you want to which I do when gaming on pc while watching a 4k Netflix movies on my large screen TV. I love the comfort, sound quality and the features this gives me for my needs specially now that the price had really dropped when it was first released. mic issue isn't a problem for me because I play games solo anyways. great review BTW!
Not sure if you will get this, but what makes this headset viable for me is the Programmable keys on the back. I like to get up and walk around with and I want to be able to push to talk ( I hate voice activated ) The 533s have a single programmable G key which will work. However I can not find any other headsets aside from the 2 I listed that have macro keys. No other brand I have looked at have them which makes me sad. I have the G933s right now but the have become almost unusable because of a very common bug that gets in to an endless loop of trying to install firmware. So all it does now is disconnect and connect every so often now. I am hoping the G935s have fixed this.
Yeah i can see how the headset would be so good for those who love having the macros anywhere. for certain scenarios so useful. I just think the majority don't use them and the companies see that so they don't prioritize it
@@alphadragongamingFTW Honestly I am not sure, I mean I am sure they will do firmware updates every now and then. Might be something you can google for update patch notes but I wouldn't know sorry D:
I'm amazed yours still works. I have had the power button break on 5 pairs. I can't believe these clowns haven't fixed their product yet. They fail right around the one year mark. Don't buy these junkers anyone viewing this msg.
If the power button is breaking of 5 pairs, number 1, why are you getting the same headset 5 times? 2. It's extremely old and build quality has increased a lot since then. 3. if you have broken the power button 5 times, I think you might be a bit too rough with your headset haha
@@Techtacula because I am returning them to Logitech for free. I wouldn't pay for these. I'm not abusing them in any way, the button is just cheap and breaks with daily use. Build quality doesn't appear to have changed, not sure where you get that info from. Every pair I have used seems to be exactly the same.
My g935 mic stops working when I flip the mic up to mute, only way to fix is is to reset my pc ( very painful!) tried looking for a fix but apparently Its due to lack of software updates on Logitech’s end. Also after 2 years the vinyl on the ear muffs are cracking and peeling off. Great wireless range, decent sound quality and mic is slightly below average.
@Techtacula Awww bum ! Thanks anycase bud. Enjoyed your video I tried these on at a store couple weeks back and they were comfortable and felt well made. I'll look for something else.
First off this headset is not Bluetooth it's 2.4Gz wireless. Also the software is terrible and doesn't work right. Once you save an EQ setting it stores permanently in the headset and can't be deleted so you have to cycle through all EQs ever made when pushing the button. If you select an EQ from the software it doesn't change in a game. I will say they sound good if you can get them set up right but good luck with that. Lastly the 733s have 40mm drivers instead of 50mm which are in the 935s and the Pro X so I'm not sure if they will sound as good.
yeah that is absolutely quite odd. I'd say a firmware update could help, or just reinstalling the firmware. But since that video has come out there are way better options for headsets anyway.
This headset is absolute terrible and I'm here to warn everyone who might consider a purchase from listening to this review. It is *easily* the worst headset I've ever owned. The build quality is horrid, it has an insane amount of hardware and software issues (just google it - the amount of complaints about the headset not working are immense, and I've had almost all of those issues). It is honestly shocking that so many credible hardware reviewers did such a poor job of reviewing this headset, honestly completely failing in the responsibility they have for customers who trust them.
Don't buy the Logitek G935. They are poorly made among other things. The headset socket fails in no time and it can't even keep the charging cable connected to the headset unless you wrap it around the earpiece. But more importantly the drivers that support this headset do not support loudness equalization. What is loudness equalization you ask? Well, if you are a TH-cam watcher, and I believe you are, you start noticing, especially wearing headphones, that different TH-cam videos have different sound levels, and even the same video may change the audio level -- when advertisement kick in for example. This causes one to constantly change the volume control to maintain the same level. Loudness equalization, supported by the OS but also dependent on which playback device it connects to (i.e. how convenient), keeps the volume at the perceived same level, thus you shouldn't need to keep adjusting the volume. The Logitech G935 does NOT support loudness equalization. Frankly, I believe this is truly an OS issue but I'm sure there is a lot of money being passed under the table from advertisers to OS corps to not make it so cut and dried -- OS's could easily solve this problem but they simply don't.

Found a great solution thats fantastic! And thank you for the kind words!
Very useful review! Looking forward to the 733 and pro x review
Great video and great to see 2 years later😁🇳🇴
Great quality for a new reviewer!
hi!
Is the RGB on this headset individually controlled LEDs for each square or just one single light that illuminates all?
yeah only a single colour for choices!

@@Techtacula have you heard if Logitech has fixed the connections issues from the 933s to the 935s? I may just go with the 935s if I have to.

Does this work wirelessly on all platforms? I'm looking for a headset that would work wirelessly on PC, PS5, Xbox SeriesX, & possibly the Switch.
Any that support USB

wheres the the g73 comparison?
The price dropped to 79 dollars are they worth it
for $79 I would say so!
330€ and 7 years later and still going yeah i think i am going to new ones...

Hello. It works witch Xbox series x??
No this is PC only.
Please 🙏 Help ! Will these work with the Xbox Series X , PS5 and PC ? I have all the Logitech Gear and these look good 👍 Many thanks 😊 in advance 😀
These are PC only! There are rarely headsets that work with all 3 platforms. But there are many that will be PC and one of the consoles.

I know this is a late comment but is it still viable now?
In a way yes. The headset still holds up but with newer headsets from Logitech out there are just better options now these days.

A bad headset! If my computer has been in sleep mode, I have to restart the whole thing before that headset works again. Very strange

the mic stop worked as i was talking on discord :))
yeet that two year old headset and make a video of it lol

Absolutely was not a perfect headset. And since that video the bar has been raised a lot.
Ok so the RGB is on the back for the STUPIDEST reason. E-sports. The cameras film from behind so the rgb is on the back
Shame these headsets never got used for Esports hahaha
