Yeah because for communication it priorities low latency for bluetooth. Once you go the normal once it sounds better but adds a tiny bit of latency. thats the trade off but windows needs to do better to make it easier for people to change or know the difference.

Well the MX3 is not designed to be a gaming mouse. They serve two different purposes. Because I absolutely LOVE my MX3. It's my daily mouse and then for gaming I swap out.

It is not a horrible product by any stretch of the mile. The value proposition is going to be different for everyone. But in the price comparison breakdown I share how it fits into the product stack. If its not for you its not for you and thats ok. There are other options out there.

It is absolutely suitable for gaming. While it does have good colour reproduction, I would not use it for professional colour accurate work.

Yeah it seems like the headphones dont give you a lot of flexibility. But at the same time, thats the issue with bluetooth right. When taking a microphone input, it forces it into low latency to ensure you can communicate without talking over other people in a call. And to get lower latency, you need to sacrifice quality. WIth newer bluetooth standards its getting better but yeah. So basically, you just need to set your communication device to the one with the mic, and the regular audio device to the one without.

Are you using OBS Studio?

The Snow White was absolutely the most popular and when reviewers or creators were sent them, most of them opted for the snow switches haha. I'm sure with enough searching you can find a test of the tactile switches.

You can yeah, but remember, that is what the default is, and a lot of people don't get too nitty gritty into customization. So I'm drawing attention to that. Regardless of what you map the button to be, the reality is that it can be accidentally hit.

Absolutely right yeah. But at least they allow these presets to be editable and I'm sure they took a lot of that into account. I am sure they would have tested it on a range of headphones (if they were doing their due diligence) and probably picked the top 5 or top 10 most popular gaming headphones and most likely found that the simple EQ tweaks would cover majority of people.

@@Techtacula I would love to know which headphones they used to make these EQ presets, so I can make a list of headphones that support these EQ settings. since they are supposedly made by gaming audio engineers from roland. please let me know if you can get any info on that! I guess its just a sales trick since "everybody keeps asking for EQ settings for games, so we will sell them an answer regardless of whether or not it's actually correct" EQ settings cannot be universal.

Thanks so much!! So, if its on the active scene, it should be behaving as normal. So I am not sure sorry. But may I ask why you stay in studio mode? You would only need to use studio mode if you are changing something on another scene without needing to chance the currently live scene.

@@Techtacula I just find having studio mode with a hotkey to transition scenes to be much more comfortable! I can use OBS without studio mode, it'll just take a lot of getting used to

Well, it is quality. Quality was never the issue haha But if its that much over there thats a shame. 90 AUD converts to about 54 euro. So may have to hunt around a bit more.

No, the G502 X is wired only. The G502 X Lightspeed and X Plus are the wireless versions

The G502 X Lightspeed had not released at the time of me making the video and therefore was not considered in the review, but yeah if you want wireless but don't care for RGB, 502 X Lightspeed is the way to go.

Im sorry! This issue is very out of my wheel house. If your bluetooth is being handled by the dongle, it could be time for a new dongle perhaps? Only thing I can suggest. But yes its very frustrating when something works for so long, and then suddenly decides to have issues! Thats tech for ya I guess :')

sounds like you have an app/program that is accessing your microphone periodically, might want to check what you installed/updated recently

(the program is changing your output to the lower quality microphone mode, that's why the quality is bad all of a sudden)

okay nvm i was an idiot - didnt realize i had to refresh the mixitup overlay every time i go live on obs

It is a really unfortunate downside of MixItUp that the overlay requires a refresh but the good thing is, if you go into the properties of the source and tick "Refresh this source every time it becomes visible" , this should hopefully remove the need to remember. (If you have already done that, hell yeah)

It's a range and look everyone has their own perspective of budget too. Under $100 AUD / $70 USD I'd personally consider budget. $50 AUD and under or $30 USD and under is what I'd consider el cheapo territory. And yeah of course it depends what fans you get which will dictate the total price. You could cheap out on fans or get decent ones or premium ones. Thats why I said in the video, if you are already planning on getting some specific aftermarket fans, the case is still a good value because it honestly is a great case. But if you are looking for value and aren't going to be getting after market fans well this is obviously not the case for you.

Given those details then yeah I'd say so! Or the G502 Lightspeed instead, if you want to have the wireless functionality which is honestly really nice to have.
