I was dying with liver disease and heart disease. They said I had heart failure. Keto, then carnivore, totally healed my liver and greatly improved my heart function. Today at the age of 75 I feel better than I have since my 20s. I still don't have the stamina I want due to my heart issues, but I've actually improved its output significantly. I can exercise again and am getting stronger every day. Yesterday I did 145 pushups. At 75. CLARIFICATION. The 145 pushups were accomplished in 4 sets, not all at once. Sorry for any confusion.
Consider supplementing free form taurine Thank me later Beware: It normalises blood pressure, so if you're on medication, make sure to consult your doctor
Dr. Berry! I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the work you do and the impact it has had on my life and the lives of countless others. Your video on reversing diabetes and all of the astounding testimonisls and comments moved me deeply, and it's incredible to see the positive effects you have had on so many people. I appreciate the way you have been able to transform lives and help people achieve better health outcomes. We need more doctors like you. It is inspiring to see doctors like you who are committed to educating and empowering people to take control of their health. Thank you for the role you played in my journey towards adopting a carnivore diet. It's unbelievable what this has done for me, reversing SO many issues. After being inspired by FerrignoFreedom, your work, along with that of Dr. Chaffee and Ovadia, solidified my commitment to the carnivore way of life. As a result, my daughter's health has improved dramatically, and I am forever grateful for the impact you have had on our lives. Thank you once again for all that you do, and may you continue to make a positive impact on the lives of so many. It's great being in charge of my life now...I'm the Captain Now! Kerry
i watch your videos so do some other people and they tell me to watch it and i say i already know. do you know what they put in pizza crust? it's a synthetic flour blend of flour and newspaper. as well as commercial breads. i thought they tasted kinds like carboard too. a trucker said hey what's that big roll for? Oh they use that for commercial breads it's newspaper. i worked in pizza the manager told me back in 2007 when they switched from regular flour to the other one and they raised the prices at the same time because flour was expensive. What? give me a break. Pizza is expensive for no reason whatsoever.
@@SimplySayNO yes this is for women too. I've been eating carnivore 9 weeks. I've lost 21lbs, gained 3.8 lbs of muscle. Autoimmune issues have all improved.
My husband and I have been on carnivore for 4 years now. My husband had dark circles under his eyes for his whole life. Now they are completely gone. My arthritis is gone. We cook our meat on the weekends and eat it all week. It is the easiest diet ever. And our grocery bills have been cut in half. Such a better life.
Carnivore is healing the hole in my retina. They cancelled my surgery. I asked for a pre-surgery scan because things seemed different. The surgeon said that it was very rare that it would heal on it’s own. I insisted on another scan…She was surprised at the results. It’s about 6 weeks of healing on carnivore.
Quick question 🤔 , if u do the carnivore diet, do ur experience things like constipation? How bout lack of other "essential " elements like Vit C ,D , calcium etc? Ur response is highly appreciated.
My diet is bacon and eggs, steak with butter, ground meat soup (ground beef, water and salt) pork rinds with cheese for a treat once in a while and whip cream in my coffee. No oils added to anything! Only using butter.
Congratulations on the weight loss. This is my 13th sugar-free year. Currently 68, recent CT scan, 0 calcium score, and 0 arterial plaque. Other than aging, I have no health problems and take no medications.
67, 25 years as a vegetarian, but not now. Strong, no meds, no health issues...nothing. There's got to be a name for us, wise strong and healthy people. Other than Outliers!
I'm a carnivore for 5 years and have yet to catch Covid, despite working at the hospital and being exposed thousands of times during the peak of the outbreak. I was literally in the rooms with dying patients who were gasping for breath it was terrible, and I knew I would catch it, but never have. Also was 235 lbs, now 165, and my last heart/arteries check at the VA had zero calcium/plaquing/blockages, and I'm 57 years old.
In June I'll have been carnivore for a year. I've lost 50 lbs, reversed type 2, ended my chronic migraines, got rid of general body pain and back pain, as well as rebalancing my hormones after suffering through perimenopause for the past 8 years. Carnivore did what HRT failed to do.
Very good whats happening for you I overcome a prostate condition that had spread to my bones 4 years ago by going carnivore The biggie for me is i dont have to try to be happy or positive these days it just is a natural part of me. Im 74 and see people on boxes of meds and they are not getting better sad to see
Just an update since I started the Carnivore diet. I started July 1st. I lost 12 lbs. I finally got below my plateau weight of 160 I weighed in on Friday morning and I asked my husband to come and check the scale, to make sure I was not just seeing things. I weigh now 158. I am so excited. Just saying. Sincerely, LiAne H. from Crosby TX
I started the diet, I'm much better, there's nothing better than trying, I need to try for at least 6 months, less than that you won't see results, imagine we've been eating wrong practically our entire lives!!! and wanting to change your results in 3 months is a very short time, especially because each body has a different metabolism, the important thing is to study the meat diet as much as you can, so as not to give up so easily. Advice, don't stop eating salt , it helps a lot, and as for milk, I don't recommend it, there is research clearly saying that our body digests milk only until we are 8 years old, after that it is harmful to our body, gratitude HomeSteadHow!!! There is no constipation on a carnivore diet, what can happen is having an episode of diarrhea, which can occur due to the dispensing of oxylates, oxylate is a toxic substance, don't be afraid!!! This diet will help, start slowly increasing the amount of meat in your diet, and don't forget salt, increase your salt intake a little, whole salt or Himalayan pink salt, good health and peace@@zzzzzzzzzztv
Hi my name is Mike and I have been on carnivore diet for 12 weeks. I am experiencing all the same results you are. I have lost 56lbs, battle with inflammation (that I'm now winning), sleep is a game changer. Great content. Keep spreading the word.
I have developed sundown syndrome ( without confusion). Nanny falls asleep before the kids do lol in winter it's 6:30 pm in summer I can make it to 9pm lol
It's because of great Dr's like you and Dr Berry and Dr Ovadia. Reading comments on your videos is so inspiring you are helping SO many! We need more doctors like you and ones who practice what they preach..respect and thanks. Your channel legitimized carnivore for Mr, thank you. It's amazing how it's improved My life and more importantly my daughters life. If you ever need a podcast guest, I'd love to share my story. Thx
Great! I just messaged you via Instagram. I didn't see your email in your video descriptions. Otherwise my email is homesteadhow [@] gmail.com. With many thanks!!
You got Chaffe and Berry to comment on these videos… they have inspired me too- but your testimony and story about your daughter really pushing me… I’m on a 72 hour fast which will be followed be BBBE for a week.
I’m a 54 year old male. Been on carnivore over a year, No processed foods or vegetables any more. Every thing you are saying has happened for me. The diet makes sense. Work performance has increased. So cool. We evolved to be healthy. The standard American diet is robbing generations of being strong and productive. Great video.
Back in 1996 when I was in college I presented a paper where I told everyone we should only eat fat and meat based on the diet of the mongols, the skimos and a few others. Everyone thought I was crazy. But still believe my research was correct. I'm almost 50 now and the worst period of my life was when I went vegan for 2 years. Then I tried Keto, but realized my shopping list is actually carnivore with salads and tons of vinegar. I feel great, I have healthy weight and love the food I eat everyday. I learned the diet from dr. Ekberg, he has a great TH-cam channel. He teaches how the body really works.. i highly recommend his channel.
@@breslavia007True, but vegans would have even shorter lifespans under the same conditions. In fact: They wouldn't last a month trying to find vegetables there lol.,.
I went to carnivore eight months ago. Life changing at age 58. How it also revealed the decades of BS around food and nutrition has been such a surprise and benefit.
The revelation of the BS was not so surprising to me, but it was infuriating. We are drowning in BS about EVERYTHING. I wonder if there is ANY category of “knowledge” that isn’t buried in a pile of BS.
Kerry great video and sharing hopefully will help others. I am very proud of you not just because you are my son but the success with this diet. Thanks for your discovery of this new way of living I no longer have scoliosis back pain, no knee inflammation or knee surgery needed as my orthopedic DR presumed I would need shortly. My BP meds I no longer need as well as my cholesterol meds as my lipid panel turned out excellent. My sleep is a deep REM. Many wonderful things. We are what we eat and no more garbage preservatives anymore!
So glad you are doing well! When you are in town you gotta go with me to my neighbors/farmers. They opened a shop selling their organic, grass fed beef at really fair prices. Stocked up on some of the nicest ribeyes I've seen!
April 1st I weighed 226.7lbs. I jumped into Keto. 3 weeks lost 4lbs. Changed to just meat & butter. Ended month 215? However , I do not force my self to eat. I'm eating on average 2 meals a day during the week. 1 meal a day on weekend. I do have coffee butter & whole cream in the mornings. Not a true fast. I don't limit my food, but only eat till I'm full. Oh, about 1 gal of water , electrolytes 3-4 times a day. I feel better, more energy, sleep better, have to keep tightening my belt , sleep much better (deep 50%). May has started, time to add daily workout! Damn I'm pumped! 🎉 Peace be with you all! If you've tried everything else
"Not ONE said 'Maybe it's your diet...'!" EXACTLY!!! THAT is why after a few months on keto and -86 pounds I decided to bite the bullet & actually go back to school to learn Nutrition. The gradual & natural progression towards an animal based diet was simply me listening to my body. I ate more of what healed me or at least didn't trigger pain or illness. I recently made the decision to go even more strict. I'm eating eggs, broth, butter & meat... nothing but water. -25 lbs since November 29th. It's only Dec. 21st today. My joints are getting better, a severe sprained, jammed & dislocated finger healed completely in 3 days, and the intrusive thoughts inciting fear & triggering anxiety after dinner right as I was trying to go to sleep have STOPPED. That is AMAZING to me. Today is day 9 of mainly meat & water with a pinch of salt. My Ct scan of the coronary calcification is 0%. O%!!! 🤩
Absolutely same for me!!!!!….the intrusive thoughts that triggered fear and anxiety are gone for me as well!!!!! It’s truly amazing. I think as a woman it is balancing our hormones. I feel so calm and rational eating carnivore.
My(calcium score) is 0 too after 53 months. At 70...I work 40 hours at Amazon (physical, climbing ladders, crawling to reach lower bins, running around 10 hours a day. (Great pay) No meds, no pain! No more Anxiety, or depression!
I’m happily plant based and will never eat meat again. But I love when people get healthy no matter what. Him sharing his story about his daughter and going healthy for her. That’s what matters most. I can’t say who should eat what but I can say we all deserve to be healthy.
I agree with you 100%. I started keto to lower my blood pressure a year and a half ago. Not only did it go to normal, but I lost 60 pounds without trying. I transitioned to carnivore after 6 months, I didn't want to track macros. I am off all my meds and feel better than ever. One surprising thing is, like you said, my mental clarity and memory are scary amazing now!
Wow I just stumbled on your video I started the diet 65+ days ago I was in rough shape and I started the diet because of severe arthritis and memory loss. I cheated last week and ate breaded chicken from takeout it reminded me how sick I was just a little over 60 days ago, my joints ache for 3 days I couldn't eat for one day because of the severe cramps and headache no energy, it was a normal day before I got so used to living with energy and no pain that I forgot! I've made a couple of videos myself of my journey. Thank you for sharing your journey it is comforting to a fellow carnivore💯🎈
my husband recently found out after eating oatmeal for 20 years he had been itching and got rashes I thought he was allergic to dust or pollen so one day he was tired and sick with the same breakfast so he didn’t eat oatmeal and realized no more rash ! I can’t believe oatmeal can cause suffering like that 😭 Now I’ll tell him about your story
ive been eating oatmeal for a long time because its promoted by society as "healthy" breakfast. I have had black dots on mine spine and my stomach was always bloated. So I decided to change this habit and everything improved a lot! The society is lying to us.

@HomeSteadHow Please, for your own good, NEVER eat spinach again!! I love spinach, but it’s one of the highest oxalate foods on the planet! Oxalates cause oxidative stress which makes your arthritis and heart issues worse! 😱 Carnivore diet removes oxalates from the diet! I bet you if you reintroduce spinach or other oxalates, your problems will come back!
I wish I knew about it years ago too. I've been having seizures since I was 5. I won't go into the long of it, but my whole life, I don't remember because of bad health and seizures. Dec 2019 found Dr Ken Berry and a carnivore video. I haven't looked back since. No more seizures!!! Mind blown...
Wow! I’m happy for you that you and your family are healthy and have overcome your issues. I see several negative comments about your choice for becoming carnivore. Well, if it helps you and your family feel better and improve health, then fu*k what other people say.
Great stuff. I have been carnivore for 4 months. Best thing I ever did. I’m 67 and never felt better, I’m lighter and stronger and all of those chronic inflammatory symptoms that were painful and aggravating are gone.
I’m down 55lbs since January of stating this diet. I’ll never go back. I have zero cravings and no longer struggling with control and depression eating. This feels natural and congratulations on your journey with carnivore.
I went from 268 to 174 on Carnivore. IT WORKS!!!!! Also, I'll be 61 this year and I feel like I"m 20 again. This diet change has me feeling like superman too.
Oh wow! Congratulations! I gained 25 lbs on carnivore and still struggling to lose it. I stopped eating a stick of butter a day and only fat that comes with meat . No more adding additional fat. Hope it works !
I’ve listened to thousands of videos on all of this stuff and I have to tell you, you’ve done a great job explaining this for people who might not understand it. I’ve listened to testimonials through videos with so much technical jargon that I had to research terms etc and can now have a truly educated conversation with my doctor but you have done a good job across the board
Thank you! Please share if you would. My main goal is I wish I learned about this 20 years ago and I know thete are soo many other "mes" out there who could drastically change their life
@@Homesteadhow yes, I wish I had learned it too. I had people talking but I thought they were nuts. Now I’m that nut. But better for it. Their whole thing was more so organic. That was back in the early 2000s when everyone thought organic was the only way to go
Did you have any transition meals in the beginning? Or you just started with this one meal one day and kept that routine? This is fascinating. Also, to confirm, it sounds like you did OMAD? One meal a day. Any tea/coffee, veggies?
@Rose Devereux I'd suggest starting and easing into keto and then carnivore. Nothing but beef, butter, bacon, eggs and water for me. Please do your research, Dr Berry has a ton of free videos on this topic
@@rosedevereux2391 I went from eating whatever whenever. The majority non healthy stuff. At least a 20oz of soda with dinner everyday to changing one day to steak and eggs for dinner. Only drank plain water during the time as well. Semi active.
Starting from bottom to top on the beef diet.. i had foot rashes, athletes foot.. i had an inflamed left ankle.. knee pain.. thigh rash.. constant farts.. constantly had to clean my butt with wipes and bidet to stay fresh.. constant urination.. need to poop 3 to 4 times a day.. hip stiffness.. tail bone pain.. stomach rashes.. i had vein stiffness in my arms.. my arms would get very tired just holding a phone even though i workout.. constant painful acid reflux.. my liver felt bloated.. lungs ached.. chest rashes.. heart aches.. uper back i needed to crack multiple times a day and always in pain.. left wrist was always stiff and hurt from old injury.. my biceps would twitch.. left shoulder hurt from old injury.. neck stiffness.. constant headache.. bags under eyes.. bad breath that never went away.. aching gums.. dandruff.. neck rashes.. constantly sleepy.. waking up felt awful.. foggy head.. multiple sneezing fits every single day.. blurry left eye.. twitchy eye.. I couldn't dream or remember dreams.. couldn't remember anything.. massive depression that left me in tears multiple times a day.. constantly hungry and constantly eating.. ALL GONE!!! I can't even get depressed anymore lol, my other parts of my life went bad financially and with the girlfriend and I didn't feel sad.. I just kept going and going and getting better and better! If you haven't tried the beef and lamb diet I couldn't recommend more. I just eat like a pound or two of beef or lamb cobered in butter once a day and I'm good to go! I might get cravings in the morning or late at night but it's manageable! I have tiny stools that are very easy to pass.. my body is clearly absorbing everything because my waist keeps shrinking! another thing i noticed today is people would drag me into these long winded conversations and i would have to go along with it.. now i can spot exactly what the issue is before they even finish their sentence and i have the confidence to get to the bottom of things super quickly so im now able to process customers super quickly and solve issues in 2 minutes thst would take a whole meeting lol! I feel great.. i look great.. i smell great.. its a miracle! How is this not talked about more!!
I dabbled in going carnivore for a couple weeks and suddenly the inflammation in my body went down to the point where I no longer had pain in my Achilles. I was limping for a couple months. But then it was gone and I was like, Hey I'm cured. Then I started eating bad a little here and there and now that inflammation has come back and I'm physically worthless and in pain. The inflammation has been rotating around my hands, ankle area chronically now, my elbow. Waking up I'm almost always in pain. Going to bed I can't fall asleep because of the pain in my lower legs. Now I'm limping on both legs. - I went out and bought a bunch of steaks yesterday. I'm going to try this again and I'm sure I'll be in a better place in a month. Thanks for the encouraging video.
I highly recommend watching a video by Eron Edwards "Adapting to Carnivore (the complete beginner's guide). I wish you all the best on your journey. Oh and don't feel like you have to eat steak all the time -- I have noticed a lot of carnivores, including the carnivore doctors, eat ground beef -- it is cheaper and lots of recipes available.
I just started my Carnivore journey 8 days ago and I feel amazing. I wish I knew this 2 years ago. My husband passed away from a sudden heart attack at age 45. He had a brain aneurysm from diabetic complications 2 years prior to that. After his passing I promised to get healthier for my kids and myself. My depression is starting to slowly get better
I'm sorry to hear about your husband. I wish you the best! You got this. I've had crippling, life wrecking depression and anxiety and for me, carnivore has reverses it entirely when no other medication could. I wish you the best
I have been on a vegan diet for 5 months and my psoriasis has improved a little but has not been cured and my heart failure has not been cured either. What is the carnivore diet? How much meat should I eat a day? What kind of meat and how many times a day? Please someone explain it to me because I just found out that there is a carnivore diet.
You literally said what I wasn't able to articulate but have been thinking about.. Your video inspired me to start again on a carnivore diet - I went carnivore in 2019 and went from fat, depressed and essentially falling apart, to feeling like a Ferrari in a few weeks/months but fell off the wagon on COVID and gained some weird health issues, as well as some fat. I started 4 days ago and I already feel lighter, my nose is clean (I had runny nose all the time, especially in the morning) and I feel a little bit more calm. I'm motivated because I already know what's ahead, and it's pure health and gaining my life back 💪💪💪 Thank you for your video
Kerry, I have been doing massive research on homesteading cuz I'm getting an inheritance after the first of the year, and I'm going to buy property and start an off grid homestead. That's how I came across your channel. The first video I saw of yours was the one where you were talking about Bill Nott. I will be starting the carnivore diet in the next cpl days. After all the research I've done on being carnivore, I'm convinced that this will be the change in my life that could save my life. I'm not on the verge of death or anything, but I'm 46 yrs old and I have already had 2 heart attacks. I have prayed and prayed that God would guide me to what I need to do to improve mine and my wife's lives. I have been talking with my wife about me starting carnivore, and at first, she was skeptical. She had said that she couldn't do that she loves veggies and starches too much. But last night she told me that I have convinced her to do it with me. She had seen how excited it's making me to be healthier. I want to thank you for posting your videos. Ultimately, you could be saving my life. Keep up the good work, and I'm excited to watch your documentary. God bless you and your family. With gratitude, Jake
I'm 64, 5'4", and 2 yrs ago I weighed 174 lbs. I started eating beef jerky mid mornings. I didn't know what I was doing, I just couldn't eat anything except protein! When I saw your TH-cam video I had to watch! I lost down to 99 lbs, which was not a healthy look on me! In the past several mo's I've gained approx 20 lbs and I'm trying to maintain this weight. I haven't felt better, my mind hasn't been clearer, and thankfully no serious health problems! Congratulations on your journey! God bless you!!
Due to being diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis I was researching autoimmune diets. I discovered Ken Berry and Sally Norton. Have been carnivore for a few months. The improvement is amazing. At 54, my skin is amazing. Depression has eased and I sleep much better.
My beloved sister Chandra, had the same. Jesus saved her and gave her extension of another 30 years and left to meet her Maker last year. Nothing is impossible for Jesus Christ. Just have faith in Him not in humans.
Hi Teeni. My wife also has Myasthenia Gravis. Once she had the thymectomy the drug that helped the most was plaquenil as the elevated antibodies continued to hit the joints. Make sure you get your bone density checked and eyesight yearly. From a diet perspective Paleo has helped her the most as it focuses on removing foods that cause inflammation which was where she had the biggest problems after surgery. One other thing that helped that Dr's did no recommend was exercise. They though it would further aggravate the rheumatoid arthritis that was setting in. I gave it some thought I found that cycling was very low impact (Swimming would also have been good, but relies on a lot of shoulder mobility which was a struggle). Perhaps there are some ideas in here that can help you. If you want to 'try' cycling, but maybe build up to it consider a Wahoo + Zwift. As a side benefit Paleo also worked for weightloss (to an extent)

I've had 5 heart attacks, 1 stroke, and a triple bypass. On Keto I felt better than I ever did before, had masses of energy and lost 32KG, but then I had a heart attack a stroke and the bypass after I went on KETO as well. I tested for a genetic cause, but negative results. It's all diet and lifestyle I'm sure, but the doctors in the hospitals always say keep off fatty meats, and they have nothing negative to say about sugar or carbs. The world is upside down, people are saying the exact opposite of what I have found myself to be best for my body and mind. It wouldn't be so bad, the lies, but my life is on the line. I'm going back on KETO and crossing my fingers it's the right thing.
Follow Dr. Berg diet's plan, it is a focused diet on healthy keto (because there are variations of the keto diet). I used to eat 2 avocados, 40g of proteins (from salmon) and like 1 huge (very huge) salad every day 2 times per day. Counted it with a nutritionist, it was roughly 2200 calories. In a way, it was the diet that worked the absolute best for me and I felt so good when I was doing it, but unfortunately it is not sustainable because you eat the same thing every day. However, considering your scenario, this is something I would attempt if I was you, because at the end of the day you've got nothing to lose. Life is tough. I hope you'll find your way, fingers crossed for you too sir.
Eliminate all processed food. Include foods with high Fiber content - everyone is different genetically some metabolize fat differently Reference the Blue Zones . Best wishes to you.
Way to go! I'm 74, Carnivore for 14+ months now. I made a list of 26 health issues (so far) that have improved at least 90 percent. The big surprise for me is that at the four month mark I realized that I was no longer massively chemically sensitive, a problem I've had since 1983. I'll never go back to eating plants!
Meat ONLY for two weeks now and WOW. Never felt better in my life. I am totally sold On this 100%. From sleep to joint pains gone, weight loss, headaches gone, calm peaceful no hot flushes. No more cravings. I am blown away by the changes.
After 10 + years of being a "healthy" vegetarian i was surprised at how much strength and muscle i had lost and was getting sick. Switched to animal based foods diet 2 years ago and I'm feeling fantastic now ! Strength back and building muscle again and never get sick now ! Kick the plants and eat the fats and meats!
I lost the ability to do push ups as a vegetarian. Could not even do one proper push up ! After a month on carnivore I punched out ten. Could not believe it... i didn't change anything other than what I was eating
I lost a lot of weight and developed a thiamine deficiency because I was a vegetarian for 20 years and consumed lots of carbs. I was chronically fatigued, had POTS so I switched back to meat and took a thiamine supplement. I'm no longer tired. I'm gaining my strength back. Thanks for inspiring the change
This is the 3rd day I'm watching your videos. I'm not letting you go. I've cleaned up my keto since the first video so 3 days no carbs, not even gluten free bread. Just liverwurst and extra sharp cheddar cheese. I'm almost ready. I wrote down all my ailments. Big problems with my feet. Depression. And early signs of the family disease of parkinson's. Thank you so much.
I am so happy I found you....I have been a weight yo yo all my life and in 2016 I found Keto and was totally focused and lost 100lbs and stayed focused for 4 years straight maintaining my weight....then..... 2020 I went on a 1 week Cruise. I was so nervous because I already knew about all the food on the cruise but I knew I could make good decisions after all I went through many holidays, birthday parties and nothing could distract me from my Keto Lifestyle. So I went on the cruise with the intentions of making good choices we had kids and grandkids with us for a total of 8 of us. I wasn't expecting the emotional feelings I was going to be confronted with....I felt like I was at a party and I had to sit on the side lines while everyone else was having fun. So I allowed myself to cheat....immediately after eating a piece of Chocolate Satin Cheesecake I felt like a failure. I went back to my cabin and cried, went to bed wanting to stay there for the rest of the cruise. I finally told myself just to have fun and get right back on Keto when we get home and it will all be OK. I had fun for the rest of cruise making a lot of special memories and took a lot of pictures (skinny pictures). Fast forward to 2024 - I have been fighting this battle, physically and emotionally since that time. I have gained all my weight back and I beat myself up every single day and every single day I am going to start again. Back on medications that I was off of...I was taking no medications at all. I was OMAD and I loved it fasting isn't hard for me....a month ago I went on a 48 hr fast thinking it would reset me and I could finally restart and get back on track...nope. My plan has been to just do Carnivore because it eliminates all the macro counting....everyday I talk myself out of it...because I am carb addicted now so that has been the most difficult. Kerry...I have learned that I am not a "Moderator" I am an "Abstainer" . I know the benefits because I lived it as far as being in ketosis because I kept my carbs on 20 or less a day. Your story has renewed my will to succeed but at the same time I know it's up to me to DO IT!!!! By the way I am 70 years young...and it's more important now than ever because I am not getting any younger and all the things that process foods, sugar, carbs, chemicals cause only causes more breakdown and not health and life!!! I feel like I am starring death right in the face, I was in the medical field for 30 years and know the reality....I feel like I am mad, disgusted at my own failure and keep punishing myself for that. So here I am TODAY....so far I have eaten some bacon and 2 eggs and made some weak green tea to sip on...I find my brain wandering playing those tapes over and over and thinking about all the chocolate and junk food in the house. I think maybe writing my feeling in a journal might help. I know this is a fight and it's a battle I really do want to win!!! Thank You! for your story!
I also learned the hard way I am not a moderator. Good lesson to learn and to remember. It is so hard once you go off to get back on cuz you know the cure now so it's like well I can go ahead and eat this then get on right track tomorrow. But it never happens. I finally was on carnivore long enough that when I go off my body craves the meat.....it craves for me to go back and get on the right track so I cannot stay off for very long. I am 7 months on carnivore. Have never felt better. Have about 50 more pounds to lose. But feeling great with lots of energy and loving every meal. My whole body praises God for every meal, feeling very appreciative that He provided the perfect nutrition to make me my best for Him. That all comes naturally. I feel more connected to God, more clear, more calm, like some film has been removed and I can breathe life deeper, feel life deeper. Hard to explain. I guess you could say it kinda feels like you are finally flying. I hope you can get back on track. God bless you with all good things. He has prepared a table for you. Feast.
Thank You! so much for your encouragement!! I have felt miserable all this time...heartburn, sluggish, brain fog and all the rest...you would think that would be enough to kick me in the butt! I just HAVE to give myself some love and positive self talk...I can do this! I can't believe how much of a struggle I am having!!! When I went on Keto I just dug my heels in and was totally focused and got it done.... but now it's been so hard!!!
I have had several autoimmune issues for at least a dozen years now. I'm SO thankful to have found this video. I am going to start today! 🙏🙏🙏🎉 God bless you for sharing this HUGE, life changing lifestyle!
How are you feeling? I know it's only been a week and a half, but I remember the energy change was massive. Also autoimmune issues for last 17 years. Currently 42. Starting weight before carnivore was 223. Down to 201 in 9 weeks. Wishing you all the best!
We want updates!!! Welcome to the community! I LOVE seeing not only success stories like this but just reading the comments and seeing soooooo many others finally starting to thrive!
@Brian Colvin , thanks for asking! I'm doing better. I have had a discoid lupus rash that has almost entirely disappeared. I am sleeping like a rock, so I haven't been needing to nap all afternoon, as I had been doing before. I am struggling with GI issues though. I had a total colectomy 5 years ago, so without a colon it has been a struggle to find what works best. I'm going back and forth between constipation and (sometimes severe) diarrhea. Sorry if that's TMI. My husband is doing this along with me. He also has autoimmune issues. His gout has cleared up about 90% since starting, and he has lost almost 10 pounds. I have lost 5 pounds thus far. Overall, we are SUPER happy with the results and plan to keep going with it. AND, we've had several family members ask us what we've been doing differently, so hopefully we can get them aboard as well...just trying not to push too much.
I started Carnivore in Oct 2022 , I was 240lbs , lost 30 lbs the first month. The crazy thing was after the first week I felt SO GOOD it was like magic. My brain fog and forgetfullness , depression ,was gone , my skin problems was gone and all my skin tags fell off after the second month. I kept feeling better all the time. For years when I laid down my sinuses plugged up and I could not breath thru my nose at all, that was gone the first week . I always had to get up 1-3 times a night to go to the bathroom, after a week I started steeping thru the night and have been ever since. I have now lost 57 lbs and have never felt so good. I can see no need to ever go back to0 the way I ate before. My previous diet was always home cooked meals lots of vegs and fruit and med amount of meat, but I could never lose weight and always felt hungry No mater what I gained 4 lbs a year. CARNIVORE CHANGED MY LIFE FOR THE BETTER. IT IS ALSO CHEAPER to eat Carnivor than eating all that expensive vegies and fruits, and all that garbage carbs. Buy Prime rib whole from the butcher and cut it into steaks and roasts , it IS SO MUCH CHEAPER than buying the cuts already made from the store, and cheaper than the way you ate before. CHEERS Steve h.
1.5 yrs later, no inflammation in joints, I’d wake up every ten mins to adjust my body due to joint pain, my depression is gone. It started as weight loss but the side effects are even more amazing. I know how you feel. I try to help others but most people are too narcissistic to put down their brainwashed minds to listen. And usually fluff it off as “your crazy” or “ you don’t know what your talking about. Well I do know quite a bit about health, and I’m currently 158lbs, my height is 6’ just to throw some numbers out. I will never go back to carbs and sugar. It’s just not worth it.
I had the BIGGEST grin on my face this entire video! You are doing AMAZING and keep me feeling so pumped about moving me and my family onto this way of eating! It is life-changing!
Seven years ago, I decided to go low carb/no sugar/no grains. After two weeks in, I began blissfully sleeping all night long! Prior, and for years, I would wake at 3 am and have difficulty going back to sleep. After doing some research, I learned that the liver does its cleanse around 2-3 am, thus the waking. When you change your diet, the liver becomes healthy again and uninterrupted sleep is an unexpected but welcome return!
I wake up around 1:30-3:00 am almost every night. and every time it is hard to get back to sleep, or I get back to sleep about 45 minutes before I have to get up for the day. This has me thinking.
Liver does the cleanse whenever it gets the chance and there is no fixed time schedule for that I eat a homecooked high carb(complex)meal once a day in my OMAD diet and in one month I feel like i am 16 again The problem is neither plant based diet or carnivore diet, the problem is overeating
I love hearing success stories like this I'm 44 and I've been doing low carb and keto since 6 months now and have lost 30 lb and I wish someone would have told me sooner just like you said! :)
Im so glad you said that sleep is one of the most important things you can do. I've always believed it was just as if not more important then nutrition and its nice to hear someone else say this. Also congratulations its lovely to hear your testimonial
That's fantastic! How sad that none of your doctors ever had you go on a Keto diet. It's been well known as a treatment for epilepsy for a long time. Carnivore is extreme Keto.
so happy for your healing! eliminating vegetables was the main thing I needed to do to get rid of dandruff, arthritis and chronic fatigue. Immediately drop 10 pounds as well from just the vegetables! all local and organic from the farmers market mainly. Did not realize how toxic and inflammatory they could be for me.
I appreciate you taking the time to expose your before and after experience on a carnivore diet... Thanks to Dr. Berry and others, i don't remember .. after suffering from divertilitis and ibs , i started the carnivore diet and boy o boy.. i have a month with no intestinal issues at all.. Thank you for encouraging others to eat for a healthy lifestyle ..👍
This is by far the best video I’ve run across that covers every aspect of the Carnivore woe (way of eating)!! Thank you for doing this!! I’ve been looking for a video that I could share with people that explains just how life-changing and supported this woe is and this popped up in my feed this morning!! Hopefully it will be more persuasive than I’ve been able to be!! I’ve been eating this way for almost a year and have had many NSVs (non-scale victories) similar to yours. I’m subscribing- thanks again for this excellent video!! 🤗👏🤗
Awesome, thank you for your kind words. I'm hoping people will share and we can bump others. There are so many people like me and you struggling and quite literally slowly killing themselves. I wish I knew about this decades ago!
@@samaralavon Most carnivores use salt only, some don't. A few use pepper or other seasonings like onion or garlic powder, although they aren't strictly carnivore. Some acceptable carnivore accompaniments include butter and sour cream. Some people combine blue cheese crumbles with butter and horseradish with sour cream. Minor non-carnivore ingredients like the above (pepper, onion/garlic powder, and horseradish) are considered okay by most carnivores if that's what it takes to stay carnivore. Both of those sauces are a huge no go, as they have high fructose corn syrup and tomatoes among other non-carnivore ingredients. You can eat meat as often as you like, since that's the main source of food for this way of eating. Do a TH-cam search for carnivore and you'll find a plethora of videos that explain the diet and also Intermittent Fasting, which is often added for additional health benefits.
@@samaralavon I'm so happy to be of some help to you!! Please do make sure to come back with updates- and even questions!! It's always exciting to hear about others' progress!!
So happy to hear that you found the carnivore diet =), I found the diet last December at 60 years old and have never looked back. What a concept right? Who knew eating meat and animal products would heal my IBS (since I was a child), my eczema, my arthritis, the floaters in my eye, the hypertension, my sleep quality. I remember saying what I wouldn't give to have my twin grandsons energy.... guess what? I do now. Oh and I've lost 20 pounds in 4 months. Congratulations on yours and your families journey to better health and a better quality of life!
I'm so happy for you! Sounds very similiar to my experience. I think I was about 40% my potential pre carnivore and sadly I ran that way for so long it became normal to me. I'm so thankful to be operating at 100% now and wish more people could do the same
Wow you look so much better comparing to the before pics👏🏼👏🏼🥳🥳 congratulation! I am on Day 43 of this carnivore diet and have similar experience for my overall body! Also right now I am on 43 hrs of water fasting into my first 72 hrs fast! The energy I have just shock me and I don’t feel hungry! I can do so much works while my stomach is not digesting. My body is loving this fat fuel I guess👏🏼👏🏼
Awesome. My 30 day video was published later than 30 days and so I too am right around same time as you. Today is day 44! Before carnivore I once did a 3 day and laterc5 day water only fast. Good job!!
❤ your family story was part of my inspiration to go carnivore. I was going blind and after 6 days carnivore the blurry eyes cleared❤ thank you so much for teaching us
Exactly!!! This diet will help, start slowly increasing the amount of meat in your diet, and don't forget salt, increase your salt intake a little, whole salt or Himalayan pink salt, good health and peace
I can attest to the sleep benefit. I was a carnivore for 6 months. I finally understood what sleep was supposed to be like and the truth of that statement...asleep before my head hit the pillow. I didn't even dream. And I felt super human too and also had great clarity of mind. My background is anthropology, and we have very good data on early humans and they were carnivores, and we evolved over all those tens of thousands of years as carnivores. There is no verifiable evidence, to date, of vegetarian or vegan early humans. What happened in the end was I slowly became unable bear the smell or taste of meat. I tried every kind, prepared every way. I slowly stopped eating. Dr. Peterson has been successfully following carnivore, so I think this was some quirk with me. My son is a carnivore and he is doing great!
You look amazing. And hearing your energy and zest for life come through is wonderful. I lost 27 pounds on carnivore last year. Unfortunately, the holidays got me and I haven’t been real strict about it. Sweets have been creeping back in. Pure poison but seeing you has encouraged me to get back on the wagon. I know my sleep improved dramatically for the better and my energy level was so much better. You’re right the weight loss is secondary to how you were feeling and will come naturally if you stick with it. Congratulations you’re doing a great job.
Thank you! Maybe keep a journal.. I write it down to try to apreciate all the benefits. The problem with humans...things so quickly become normal, than normal is taken for granted
@@Homesteadhow actually was keeping a bit of a food journal of sorts. I will get back on track again and start writing my meals and overall impressions of how I’m feeling. Thankfully, I haven’t gained all of the weight back; probably half. So there’s that lol. Just time to get back on the wagon again.
So happy to see this video. I just started myself. I am 3 days into this eating more meat and already see changes. Less snoring, less tinnitus and no getting up at night, and sugar cravings almost totally gone. Of course I have been taking good care of myself with cutting out cereals and wheat, and taking B vitamins, and many other things, but i feel so much more grounded and real happy. Thanks for posting. To me your a Hero. God bless.
I was about to lay down and die and thinking my life was over. At sixty years old I thought my life was over and was preparing to die. Then I found carnivore and I feel young and my coworkers are noticing the change in me and joining my carnivore eating habits. This is changing my work place for the better as everyone is in great and no one calls in sick. It is amazing.
I found this video while researching and I want to thank you for sharing your success and how this diet has improved your life. I recently had bloodwork and my A1C is prediabetic - there is absolutely no family history of diabetes so I know it's my diet and lifestyle. I tried keto for a short time but that seemed so complicated - carnivore looks so simple. No macros to count or tracking, just eat meat until you are full. The easier it is, the fewer excuses I will have to fall back to the crappy diet that is making me miserable.
It IS easy! Grocery shopping is so much faster and easier, cooking is never longer than 10-15 min now. And like many have said you only eat 1-2 times a day so that frees up so much time in your day also.
I was (was!) a T2 Diabetic from 2009 to 2019, following all doctor's advice and prescriptions and "care". A dozen doctors over those 10 years and in different countries. When examined and diagnosed in 2009, my HbA1C was 12, and my fasting blood glucose was 16 mmol/L! They put me on Metformin 500mg x3/day - that was not helping much. My lowest blood glucose (tested 3x a day) was never below 8-9 mmol/L 2h after a meal. But since late 2019, I took matters into my own hands...to date (Nov. 2023), I started KETO, then KETO+LCHF, then by mid-2020, I went OMAD and predominantly eating MEAT (nose-to-tail, beef, pork, lamb, etc.). Since mid-2020, my HbA1C is, on average, 5.0 mmol/L, and when I measure my blood glucose at home, it has never been above 5.4 mmol/L (usually between 4.2-5.2). Lost 40kg in less than 8 months (I'm 1.95m tall). So now I'm an EX-DIABETIC (T2), and when I tell this to a doctor at checkups...they look at me as if I am crazy. Idiots!
Well done video. I started Keto 3 1/2 years ago. When I started I would have bet any amount of money I had Lyme disease. Everything hurt all day everyday. In the first few weeks the pain went away and in the first 3 months my a1c went from 5.9 (pre diabetic) to 5.1 (normal). I dropped 35lbs too. The closer I get to full Carnivore the better I feel. Same results with thinking. I think I have written several book on my smart phone since starting. I'm 60 now and wish so badly I had known this when I was 25. Every male in my family had died young from diabetes, heart disease and obesity. When I go to the convenience store now I regularly count 9 of 10 people as being on the same path that I was on. I've become a keto/Carnivore Evangelist and a handful of people I've talked to have had the same results and also say it's changed their lives. Coincidentally I think it has deepened my faith too. The ancient Egyptians are called by archeologists "Eaters of Bread". What did the people who followed Moses want to go back to Egyptian slavery for? The food! The bread. Humans are slow learners apparently.
You can get similar results with fasting too. It took me quite a while to figure out how I could get rid of the health issues I had. In fact it took me 13 to 15 years, but I finally understood. I now have a carnivore diet and I take , sometimes, a three to four days fasting. With this combination I was able to get more muscle, be free of my sleeping problems and I lost 155 pounds. Tht`s the hell of a change. And I am feeling great.
The question is now what actually makes us sick? Is it the chemicals used to grow plants or would it be the same with the most organic plants? When fasting, you prevent any toxins enter your mouth, so you can't tell exactly what the culprit was. My idea is to get fully carnivore, wait for some results, and then slowly introduce the other food as well, to find out what exactly makes one feel bad.
@@goranvuletic8873 That`s a very interesting idea. Please, if you don`t mind, after carrying out these experiences, could you share what you found out ? It might be helpful for other people.
@@goranvuletic8873honestly these results are seen in any 'healthy' I diet where a person does the following: cut out all processed crap. Cut out all sugary beverages. Swap to pure coffee and water for drinks. And only fresh meat/chicken/fish and complex carbs. Want even better results? Add intermittent fasting. Your body needs it all. Veggies, meat, sleep, water and exercise. Want to be a superhuman? Do all those. If with a 20:4split and you'll prolly live to see a 100.
Thank you for my sconsin for telling your story. I actually started the carnivore diet two months ago, and I've lost 44 lb, and I've never felt this good.
Kerry, great video and information. I did carnivore 18 months ago and lost 60 lbs in 3 months, fell off the wagon and starting over again at 54but looking forward to keeping the mindset correct. It was the best thing I ever did diet wise and never felt better. Looking forward to getting back to thar feeling. Keep up the great work 👍
I have been carnivore for 8 months, everything you say if true. For anyone on the fence, afraid to try this…give it 30 days and see for yourself. Couldn’t hurt you anymore that the lifetime of eating processed garbage!
My teenage son cured his IBS and nerve tingling/parasthesia type symptoms by eating carnivore. He's in the best shape of his life and only eats once/day now. No mood changes which is great for a teenage son going through puberty! Thank you for sharing your results. I feel so much better when eating carnivore.
Thanks for sharing that. Congratulations 🎉 when we were kids/teens we never ate more than twice daily . People thought we were strange because the breakfast propaganda was going strong back then. We just didn't focus on food much even as omnivores. So happy for the healing ,👍
Thank you for sharing. I have the exact issue as your son and unfortunately passed this to my son through breastmilk. I was so anti red meat for years and almost met our lord and savior because of it.
HS, hidradenitis suppurativa, is the marker for insulin resistance, so it makes perfect sense to be on carnivore. I'm about to graduate med school in 4 days and found carnivore the past year. It's been absolutely life-changing.
Awesome. I have so much respect for carnivore Dr. I was reading 1000s of comments on Dr Barry's reversing Diabetes video...100s of people saying DR BERRY you've changed, fixed my entire life ..his response is often, that's what doctors are meant to do! That man deserves more recognition..truly a life changing doctor for 1000s of 1000s
Hi Ming LI, you are so right! Think of it, vegans eat CARBS CARBS which makes their body go crazy making insullin- htey will turn diabetis because after a while their bodies can't handle making all that insulin after years. Carnivore diet= strength and protein for our bodies! Kim & Larry
Med School - what a boykie - all you are going to do is be a drug mule for the pharmaceutical companies - enjoy that especially the part where you literally poison your patients and contribute massively to their premature ageing and deaths - such an honourable career where the Hippocratic Oath swears you to firstly do no harm but which you break on the first day and every day thereafter...
Thank you so much for making this. Recently started keto and love Dr. Berry’s advice too. I need to lose 50 lbs and nothing has worked, but the strict keto (no to little carbs and no veg) is starting to work! Also, this year I’ve been diagnosed with high blood pressure, psoriasis, and anxiety, plus I have had endometriosis for many years (surgery for it in 2017). Then last week they discovered my back pain is spondylolisthesis. It is scary. SO I am eager to see if all of this improves on the keto I’m doing, combined with intermittent fasting… I already feel a big difference. And maybe I’ll switch to carnivore soon!
You look great and just more “vibrant”! Keep it up! I’ve done strict carnivore (lion diet) multiple times over the last few years and have seen the same results as you. I’ve just gotten bored. I’ve never made it to 30 days but you’ve encouraged me to try it again. I totally believe everything you said about inflammation! I’d love to see a video about what kinds of beef you eat in a day! 👏
I'd rather be bored than unhealthy. I found new pleasurable activities rather than counting on food for pleasure. Although....I DO love a great fatty ribeye!!
I worked as a medical transcriptionist for 35 years - mostly typing up operative reports but also admission notes, discharge summaries and office visits; so lots and lots of medical histories and also what questions the docs asked their patients in order to do a diagnosis (usually people are just sent out for labwork and expensive CT/MRI scans, though). NOT ONCE, NOT ONCE, did any doctor, even the ones I considered 'good' doctors, ask a patient what they were eating. NOT ONCE. It's completely overlooked. They presume YOU eat like THEY do, and they're either eating whatever the hospital cafeteria has today, and going out to eat with the family to some fancy restaurant once in a while, or they're eating whatever's on the table when they get home from work too late to deal with anything else. The other thing to look at is 'how healthy is your doctor'? If they're out of shape or unhealthy themselves (docs have a high suicide rate, too), how much do they really know? Medical schools are pharmaceutical shills and there's a feedback loop on what's taught and what's making money for them all. Homeopathic (all body awareness) training was eliminated back in the early 1900s when the oil/chemical industries took over the medical schools. The capitalists making your pharmaceuticals are the same companies that made the gas for the showers for the Nazis...
Yes..just crazy. Soooooo many health issues are simply food related and Dr's (most) just offer pills and nothing more. And YES I've had very inflamed, overweight Dr's tell me (when I was doing keto) that I'm being very unhealthy
I said the same thing about doctors and how in shape they are since I switched to it TRT doctor a few years ago who's totally ripped. I've always equated it too would you hire a personal trainer who looked like garbage? No one would so why do we settle for it with doctors
shame signalfire 6 - so you still believe that the Holocaust actually happened - what a boykie - high IQ there - great critical thinking skills - i suppose you still think two commercial airplanes hit the twin towers in 9/11 and that man landed on the moon...amazing, amazing - and now you think meat is actually good for your health...wow...
I struggle with wanting carbs, but when I listen to vidoes, like yours, I feel encouraged to work my way through the cravings. I feel so much better on the carnivore (occasionally Ketovore) diet.
some non medical or expert advice but a lot of the yt vlogs say maybe to have a little more fat as it fills you up and reduces cravings - do some research eg adapt for life / dr sten ekberg / kenDberry MD and many more
@@gerardineboyle5855So no fruits? No Quinoa? These are not toxic, in fact they’re super healthy to incorporate into your diet. Just cut out the junk food, it’s not rocket science
I've been on it since February and can confirm it's provided plenty of benefits I was lacking. The biggest ones for me was my blood pressure was dangerously high, now it's reduced significantly to normal levels. My depression is gone (I always refused anti-depressants as I have ever trusted them, especially since big pharma insists on people taking them) which wasn't something I was looking to gain from this diet but it's happened anyway. So a bonus. My fat loss has been great and now with exercise it's better. My concentration levels are vastly improved along with my constant fatigue, full of energy all the time. It ain't a fad for me and I can't praise this diet enough
I'm around 90% carnivore since late March (tiny bit of dairy/eggs). Down 16 pounds and feel great. Just recently acquired lava salt for my steaks. Absolute next level!
Wow, I've has HS pass 9 years, along with a host of issues and surgeries. I'm blown away by your testimony, powerful, wow, thank you so much for sharing your story ❤
A *documentary on the carnivore diet* ? _That is a GREAT idea!_ What I'd immediately suggest (and I am sure it's not necessary) is: *make it as air-tight as possible,* fill it with actual studies and data to prove your points, interview experts, dispel myths, touch on and answer usual criticism... Aim at making it so that it can't and won't be easily dismissed as biased/anecdotal/inconclusive like so many documentaries out there. I think it can be said no diet is 'for everybody', each of us has to choose what works for our own body. But by now carnivore must be considered the smart, helpful, legit option it is!
You hit the nail on the head with your theory on sleep and depression. I have an autoimmune disease that leaves me with chronic pain and I couldn't sleep more than 3 hours at a time. For years. I went into a very dark depression and couldn't get off the couch!
@@TemoteControl now that I get 5+ solid hours of sleep a night, my memory is back to normal, my moods are stable and depression is staved off. Lack of sleep caused me serious depression but I was blaming everything else.
Your “before” symptoms and issues are similar to what I am dealing with. I felt amazing on a fast but my dr said a longer fast isn’t safe. He asked me not to fast for more than a day or two. After seeing your video, I’m going to look into the carnivore diet. Happy to hear your health has improved!
There are people out there doing 40 day long water fasts. Ive done 3 day fasts many times and usually by the third day i have to stop myself from literally running everywhere because i feel so light and full of energy. I think longer fasts probably don't need to be frequent but im guessing once or twice a year would be great for you.
I've done a 21 day water fast and felt awesome at the end. I ate for a day and then did two more days. As long as you have fat stores it isn't dangerous at all.
@@Debbie-jz6efYes, my first water fast was 21 days. I felt incredible but lost muscle. When I told my doctor he said he wasn’t comfortable with extended fasting and recommended I not do it again, or if I do, that I have a coach. I started Carnivore/ketovore after my post here and have lost 50lbs but Dairy is stalling me the past 5 months. Love my heavy cream.
Great video! Glad you're spreading the word! It's life changing. I eat a ribeye betw noon and 3pm and drink only water. Sometimes I'll eat dinner. So, fast and go carnivore. Once in a while I'll mix it up w/other meats or fish. I too was 225lb and in five weeks dropped to 198 and I'm 6ft. Lost the huge gut in five weeks. Now, I'm so motivated w/lots of energy at 58. I workout here and there but not daily and feel like I did back in my 20's.
On carnivore diet now for a month , took sugar off too, I still drink my coffee with purecane, but its already mind blowing how different I feel. Loving it.
I LOVE this video!! I follow several carnivore and keto people/doctor's but for some reason, YOUR video got to me! Perhaps it's your enthusiasm for your daughter and helping her, or just your journey. But its got me pumped enough to get back in the carnivore lifestyle! I'll continue fasting and now that I'm over the horrible cravings I was experiencing prior to fasting, I can give carnivore another shot! Thank you for this great video!
Honestly, all you need to do is eat like we do in Europe. It's probably very very hard to do that in America, but here in Europe we have stricter rules about additives in foods. Imported American brands need to change their ingredients to make it legal to sell here, same goes for fastfood chains etc. Most American ingredients are banned in my country (Netherlands), as they greatly increase risk of diseases/cancers and other symptoms that have a huge negative impact on your health. We also do groceries every few days, so produce is always fresh. Also bread that lasts for weeks is not bread.. our bread starts to go off after 4/5 days (as it should).. your bread can be kept for 2 weeks... that is not for consumption in our minds.. So.. look at your food and just question yourself, wtf are you eating? food? or preservatives and additives?
Great video. I’ve been keto/dirty keto for 6 years. Great improvement in my health - went from about 220 to 160 and maintain between 160 and 165. At 73 I’m excited to push to the next level so I’ve started leaning into carnivore and feeling better, but I feel like I can do more. I’m familiar with every person you mentioned in your video and credit the keto community with changing my life. I also do time restricted eating but plan to start doing a couple of 2 and 3 days fasts per month. Good luck to everyone regardless of your lifestyle.
Wow, nice work! I've done several 3 day water fasts and 1 5 day..I felt amazing on the fasts (like I feel regularly on carnivore) I may incorporate a few water fasts into my carnivore diet. Great job I wish you the. Best!!
I wrote a comment to another person that was trying the diet, maybe it can help you: "We all have to go through an adaptation phase till your body is adapted to burning fat, for me it was a week, since I only drink orange juice sparingly, I don't eat sweet buns or chocolate or anything like that, so it might be slower for you, probadly a bit more than a week, my skin is got this red (alive) color now (I'm one month in, but have started adding a bit of carbohydrates and sugar, not a lot though), I feel energized, can think clearly, eyesight improved, I had bad eyesight and have problems through alm my life, and had trouble walking in a straight line, it feels great been alive again, I'm working on movie editing projects now and feel energized to accomplish anything I want, like superhero like the guy said in the video, I will leave by saying this, the best diet for humans I think it's mainly animal products with fats/carbohydrates (fats help to absord vitamins in the body better, and carbohydrates help have a balanced testosterone levels, balanced testosterone levels also help with having good mood) and eating things you like even if they are slightly unhealthy, like chocolate for example, because depression has been scientifically proven to be as deadly as smoking cigarettes, so it's better if you eat what you like than not in the long term so your mind is happy and healthy. Same if you like sugar, I do for example, and some fruit in general, I like my fructose in orange juice, or a banana sparingly after a intensive workout, that's as much as I can help. Thank you so much for your information on HS. My daughter also has been to many Dermatologists. No mention of food as you said. Thank you also for sharing your story. Beef - its a blessing!❤
My wife has a morbidly obese co-worker who was recently diagnosed with lung cancer. My wife has told her numerous times that I've been Keto then carnivore for almost two years. With the diagnosis, the friend FINALLY seemed open to the discussion. She started carnivore a couple weeks ago...lost 13 pounds already and my wife says her friend already noticed a change in the way her pants fit. The friend's husband isn't onboard saying she needs to eat veg. She went to her oncologist and the hubby told the doctor of her dietary changes. The Oncologist told her that her past sugar consumption was not a factor in her health, that she should continue to eat as she always had! WTF!!!!!!!! Thank God her friend is fiercely independent and continues with her carnivore journey. Family: Get on board and be supportive or stfu. You are ultimately responsible for your own well-being...don't let these doctors lie to you. Also...beware of youtube keto/carnivore gurus that try to sell you anything like supplements, foods, snacks, or access to private chat rooms where "all the experts are"...these folks are probably scammers and/or scientologists
Typical establishment rhetoric. Trying to scare patients to get back in line with their agenda. Makes me sick. Every person I know who is sick or has a 'diagnoses' I ask - did your doctor discuss your diet with you? On what changes might be healthiest for each of us as individuals.
@@ancientmb23 it’s pretty sad. And when someone reverses their health and becomes well there’s no curiosity as to how it came about. They absolutely don’t want to discuss it.
CANCER FEEDS ON SUGAR AND ONCOLOGISTS ARE DOCTORS OF DEATH. THATS HOW THEY MAKE THEIR MONEY BY KILLING PEOPLE SLOWLY AND BILKING THE INSURANCE COMPANIES!!!!!!
I've just finished my first week. My waist is down 2 inches. My restless leg syndrome is gone. I sleep better. I was up for 31 hours straight and still didn't feel I needed sleep. The brain fog is gone. When I wake up, I don't feel groggy. My dry cough from some mysterious allergy that no doctor could figure out is gone. Carnivore is most definitely how we should be eating.
There was a time, (for MOST of all time) where fruits and vegetables were healthy. Those times are gone, unless you grow your own, from heritage seeds, no chemicles. They have changed the genetic makeup of the plants and foods, inserting mold, bacteria, and pesticides (glyphosate) right into the genome! It's an atrocity. I call it the dessicration of creation. Im going to try this to heal my gut, which is most likely the culprit of my decreased production of brain endorphins that results in constant fatigue and lack of any motivation or energy. YES!!! You just mentioned the increased energy and motivation, I've been trying everything!!! IM SOLD- grocery store tomorrow!!! THANKS FOR SHARING THIS!!!!
Man…I love the machine gun intensity and enthusiasm in this video!! I’ve been mainly keto for the last few years. I saw huge changes in my health in the first 6 months and noticed all the changes you mentioned in this video. Then I started to slip a little and added a few ‘treats’ back in. Now although following the keto principles in general I’m starting to see the health issues creep back into my life. After watching this I’m going to cook up a nice scotch fillet for breakfast right now! Thank you for the inspiration.❤
Just started Carnivore 2 weeks ago, feeling terrific! so much energy losing inches in my body, sleeping is absolutely AMAZING, I sleep for 8 hours straight and wake up rested and full of energy. Haven't lost much weight YEAT, however, the other benefits are incredible and I know I am in an adaptation phase.Impressive improvements in my mood and super energy level to workout. I committed to experiment it for 6 months and will feel from there.
Thank you, I’m going to try it for 30 days! I need my life to change, I’m too young to feel this old and tired and waking up every night between 3-4 pm. Thank you for the hope!!
I used to wake up 3-ish every morning. I found wine caused it. I rarely drink wine anymore… switched to beer and vodka… when I try this meat diet I’ll give those up, but meanwhile, on or off the diet I keep away from wine…. (One exemption is Prosecco - I think it’s so refined the sulfites and stuff aren’t in it…. But still have that rarely….)
I honestly thought..here we go yet another guy with a motive (selling) to over exaggerate some bs diet. I looked into a few more vids & thought I like steak so I’ve got nothing to lose in a week. Watched Ferrigno in particular Man I’m a big guy..60 yrs old with aching knees, ankles & literally that inflammation totally left me in 5-6 days ! My skin started clearing up, I became more alert, sleep so much better also. I had no idea how much the veg oils that were in everything were hurting me. So happy I found these people - thankyou It was in front of me all the time !! I’m sold !
Great job. I recently heard Dr Berry talk about a study on how ketosis is much better for the heart ❤️
Consider supplementing free form taurine

Beware: It normalises blood pressure, so if you're on medication, make sure to consult your doctor
You are amazing! Congratulations! 🥳 I hope the same for my parents, both close to 70 years old ❤❤

It's great being in charge of my life now...I'm the Captain Now!

i watch your videos so do some other people and they tell me to watch it and i say i already know. do you know what they put in pizza crust? it's a synthetic flour blend of flour and newspaper. as well as commercial breads. i thought they tasted kinds like carboard too. a trucker said hey what's that big roll for? Oh they use that for commercial breads it's newspaper. i worked in pizza the manager told me back in 2007 when they switched from regular flour to the other one and they raised the prices at the same time because flour was expensive. What? give me a break. Pizza is expensive for no reason whatsoever.

Does it work the same for women?
@@SimplySayNO yes this is for women too. I've been eating carnivore 9 weeks. I've lost 21lbs, gained 3.8 lbs of muscle. Autoimmune issues have all improved.
My husband and I have been on carnivore for 4 years now. My husband had dark circles under his eyes for his whole life. Now they are completely gone. My arthritis is gone. We cook our meat on the weekends and eat it all week. It is the easiest diet ever. And our grocery bills have been cut in half. Such a better life.

One of the best parts about this way of eating is the lack of waste.

Hi, could u write what you did eat in more details?
My diet is bacon and eggs, steak with butter, ground meat soup (ground beef, water and salt) pork rinds with cheese for a treat once in a while and whip cream in my coffee. No oils added to anything! Only using butter.

Ain't that the truth.
add virology to the pile of BS.

ive been eating oatmeal for a long time because its promoted by society as "healthy" breakfast. I have had black dots on mine spine and my stomach was always bloated. So I decided to change this habit and everything improved a lot! The society is lying to us.
Maybe its because of gluten.

I'm sorry for your loss. Hope you continue to feel better every day.
So sorry for your loss. You’re very strong and I hope everything works out well for you and kids ❤
The only fear I have is that meat could cause breast cancer
I'm motivated because I already know what's ahead, and it's pure health and gaining my life back 💪💪💪
Thank you for your video
With gratitude,
Jake
My mother had miastenia hravis Dr Lechín in Venezuela finish this ill
@@nathanielacton3768 thank you very much for getting in touch. Its good to have your advice.

I'm going back on KETO and crossing my fingers it's the right thing.
touch choice. Fingers crossed for you Sir
keto is the way our bodies are evolved towards.
How are you still alive?
Respectfully, of course.
74! Congrats and we'll done! Your a champion in my book
I’m 72 and have a similar story
I’m going to do this. Has anyone had issues their elimination system?
That's incredible. Congratulations!
@@TimGreigPhotography Thank you! I'm enjoying my freedom from chemical avoidance!
Do you know what your blood type is?
I'm type A, and dud the "blood type diet" for a while. big bunch of B.S in my opinion, having tried it
I lost a lot of weight and developed a thiamine deficiency because I was a vegetarian for 20 years and consumed lots of carbs. I was chronically fatigued, had POTS so I switched back to meat and took a thiamine supplement. I'm no longer tired. I'm gaining my strength back. Thanks for inspiring the change
We are just wired to this food since primeval times. So it makes sense :-)
@@teresacollins303you got this 💪🏽🥰

Let us know how it works for you. Good luck ❤️❤️❤️
Good job!!
I wonder if all this testament is back up by lab test, blood works, etc. Creatinine, bun level.

I'm with you! I'm on day 22 of a 120 day protocol ... first 30 days is boiled meat and broth. Keep it up, brother!
Awesome..for me each day, somehow I feel even better and better! Good job
Liver does the cleanse whenever it gets the chance and there is no fixed time schedule for that
I eat a homecooked high carb(complex)meal once a day in my OMAD diet and in one month I feel like i am 16 again
The problem is neither plant based diet or carnivore diet, the problem is overeating

Life changing for me too for all of the same reasons! I stopped having epileptic seizures for the first time in my life!! This is it for me 😊
Amazing!
It's Amazing and so counterintuitive but it's a game Changer. Good job!

Can I season the meat? How many times per day can I eat meat? Did you use anything like A1 or Heinz when you have your steaks?

Happy to hear about the floaters. Plagued with them. Definitely trying this.
I was going blind and after 6 days carnivore the blurry eyes cleared❤ thank you so much for teaching us
Exactly!!!

We also don’t have multi-chambered stomachs that are needed to digest grains and grasses.
That’s odd. There is a tick that causes people, when bitten by it, to not be able to eat meat.
God bless.
God Bless you got this!
I've been doing Keto for 2 years with amazing results - this has influenced me to try carnivore. Thanks for the good news!
Good for you, taking control of your life. I'm happy for you
I found this video while researching and I want to thank you for sharing your success and how this diet has improved your life.
Please watch Dr Berrys video on reversing diabetes
It IS easy! Grocery shopping is so much faster and easier, cooking is never longer than 10-15 min now. And like many have said you only eat 1-2 times a day so that frees up so much time in your day also.
Thank you for doing your own research! It's so taboo these days haha
Aww I'm so glad you mentioned Ferrigno! He is so pure and has such an inspiring story. Your story has really lit the fire under my butt too.
He's the man!
Yes! Great job!!
I'm 54 and turning 55 in February.. I need this, thank you for the positive into. Good video by the way
Kerry, great video and information. I did carnivore 18 months ago and lost 60 lbs in 3 months, fell off the wagon and starting over again at 54but looking forward to keeping the mindset correct. It was the best thing I ever did diet wise and never felt better. Looking forward to getting back to thar feeling. Keep up the great work 👍
Thank you!!
Your welcome. I just thought of another channel, Laura Spath, and her husband Chris is really informative too.
@@scottstorch4227 loblve Laura's channel too!
I have been carnivore for 8 months, everything you say if true. For anyone on the fence, afraid to try this…give it 30 days and see for yourself. Couldn’t hurt you anymore that the lifetime of eating processed garbage!
Yes, this..give it a try. I can't believe the results I saw in just week 1
Great job by your son!
Thanks for this! After having 2 babies I’ve slipped back into old eating habits… now I’m going back to ketovore asap 👏🏻
You got this!
I was reading 1000s of comments on Dr Barry's reversing Diabetes video...100s of people saying DR BERRY you've changed, fixed my entire life
..his response is often, that's what doctors are meant to do! That man deserves more recognition..truly a life changing doctor for 1000s of 1000s
Congratulations on this admirable achievement! 🏆🏅💖 God bless you and use you to save lives and help many people.
Oh thank goodness...you'll be a great Dr and heal people rather than just push meds!!
I love how you are articulating all the things that change... and you are so right - THE SLEEP is flipping awesome.
Sleep affects depression, anxiety, immune system, health, happiness, mood..it's a gamechanger and I've never slept better than on carnivore
Me too, lost 25 pounds no more joint pain, energy, and no more bloating. I feel fantastic
Any update?
no need to do carnivore, just eat foods meant for human and not this processed shit and ur good to go
Keto is Bullshit.
How are you doing now?
Update?
- I have the same symptoms
You look great and just more “vibrant”! Keep it up! I’ve done strict carnivore (lion diet) multiple times over the last few years and have seen the same results as you. I’ve just gotten bored. I’ve never made it to 30 days but you’ve encouraged me to try it again. I totally believe everything you said about inflammation! I’d love to see a video about what kinds of beef you eat in a day! 👏
Thank you. I plan to do a...what I eat in a day video soon
I'd rather be bored than unhealthy. I found new pleasurable activities rather than counting on food for pleasure. Although....I DO love a great fatty ribeye!!
Do you gain all the weight back every time you go off, or can you maintain at least 70%of the weight loss?
Nailed it! Thanks for sharing. 8v) Rock on.
shame signalfire 6 - so you still believe that the Holocaust actually happened - what a boykie - high IQ there - great critical thinking skills - i suppose you still think two commercial airplanes hit the twin towers in 9/11 and that man landed on the moon...amazing, amazing - and now you think meat is actually good for your health...wow...
Great comment
I struggle with wanting carbs, but when I listen to vidoes, like yours, I feel encouraged to work my way through the cravings. I feel so much better on the carnivore (occasionally Ketovore) diet.
Zero carbs helps as they are do addictive x
some non medical or expert advice but a lot of the yt vlogs say maybe to have a little more fat as it fills you up and reduces cravings - do some research eg adapt for life / dr sten ekberg / kenDberry MD and many more
I make butter bites. They curb cravings for sweets.
Have butter bites and bacon in the fridge!
Eggs are essential to the carnivore diet!!!🙂🙂

Good suggestion, John.
You hit the nail on the head with your theory on sleep and depression. I have an autoimmune disease that leaves me with chronic pain and I couldn't sleep more than 3 hours at a time. For years. I went into a very dark depression and couldn't get off the couch!
How are you doing now?
@@TemoteControl now that I get 5+ solid hours of sleep a night, my memory is back to normal, my moods are stable and depression is staved off. Lack of sleep caused me serious depression but I was blaming everything else.
Your “before” symptoms and issues are similar to what I am dealing with. I felt amazing on a fast but my dr said a longer fast isn’t safe. He asked me not to fast for more than a day or two. After seeing your video, I’m going to look into the carnivore diet. Happy to hear your health has improved!
Thanks
There are people out there doing 40 day long water fasts. Ive done 3 day fasts many times and usually by the third day i have to stop myself from literally running everywhere because i feel so light and full of energy. I think longer fasts probably don't need to be frequent but im guessing once or twice a year would be great for you.
Your doctor is ill informed about fasting. You should do your own research.
Awesome, nice work!
Thank you! Dr Berry has been a big help as has @FerrignoFreedom
@@Homesteadhow Dr Berry is the main Carnivore doc that I follow! 👍
Best!!
THIS! This is why the WEF wants to abolish meat across the world.
I wrote a comment to another person that was trying the diet, maybe it can help you:
"We all have to go through an adaptation phase till your body is adapted to burning fat, for me it was a week, since I only drink orange juice sparingly, I don't eat sweet buns or chocolate or anything like that, so it might be slower for you, probadly a bit more than a week, my skin is got this red (alive) color now (I'm one month in, but have started adding a bit of carbohydrates and sugar, not a lot though), I feel energized, can think clearly, eyesight improved, I had bad eyesight and have problems through alm my life, and had trouble walking in a straight line, it feels great been alive again, I'm working on movie editing projects now and feel energized to accomplish anything I want, like superhero like the guy said in the video, I will leave by saying this, the best diet for humans I think it's mainly animal products with fats/carbohydrates (fats help to absord vitamins in the body better, and carbohydrates help have a balanced testosterone levels, balanced testosterone levels also help with having good mood) and eating things you like even if they are slightly unhealthy, like chocolate for example, because depression has been scientifically proven to be as deadly as smoking cigarettes, so it's better if you eat what you like than not in the long term so your mind is happy and healthy. Same if you like sugar, I do for example, and some fruit in general, I like my fructose in orange juice, or a banana sparingly after a intensive workout, that's as much as I can help.
By the way, how are you doing so far?
They tried to eliminate all the chickens from my life last year don't you remember all that so-called bird flu or whatever you call it people were killing their chickens their chickens
honestly not far off
regenerative beef is net negative carbon but they won't say anything about it

How to mention Dr Berg without mentioning Dr Berg.

Aww thanks, I never had this intensity pre-carnivore, honestly
Just started Carnivore 2 weeks ago, feeling terrific! so much energy losing inches in my body, sleeping is absolutely AMAZING, I sleep for 8 hours straight and wake up rested and full of energy. Haven't lost much weight YEAT, however, the other benefits are incredible and I know I am in an adaptation phase.Impressive improvements in my mood and super energy level to workout. I committed to experiment it for 6 months and will feel from there.
