    Thank you. I don’t know what I’m doing but I’m about to fix up a (or try) 1999 c230 with limp mode on. I’m picking her up tomorrow and I’ll tell you this video help me out esp with no experience. I do have people who know about cars they are my plan B but this video has nice clear details that made me understand a lot of what I’m doing. Subscribe

    Great video! Did you have to erase any codes to get the car out of limp mode? Or did you just remove and replace? Thanks!

      @SimplyMod85  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      we did the replacement and cleared up any codes that were in the system. I don't think you need to clear the codes to get out of limp mode. Before we replace the conductor plate, we would just turn off the car and wait 3 min and start it up to remove the limp mode.

      Hello
      Do I need to do the program after replacing the conductor plate with a new one, or do I already have the program in the new conductor plate
      What should I do if I have to do a program?

    What was the codes that were showing up that made sure it was the transmission plate and not something else causing it to go into limp mode?

    • @SimplyMod85
      @SimplyMod85  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I forgot what the code was but basically the car won’t shift past 2nd gear and limited to only 40mph max. We tried a bunch of things but didn’t make the limp mode go away so our last resort is to replace the conductor plate and that fixed the issue.

    where can I find the proper fill procedure for this transmission? How long do you have to have it on before checking the H on the transmission dip stick?

    • @SimplyMod85
      @SimplyMod85  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am pretty sure you can find it in the manual or online forum. I just fill it with all the fluid that comes in the container in the kit. I know this is not proper. sorry if this is not of any help.

    hello, I hope you are all well, please if you can help me, I have a mercedes c250 cdi year 2010 with automatic transmission tronic 5g, the problem is that when the car is at low rpm, i.e. below 2000 rpm, the gears change a little hard and with a knock or shock easily, if you accelerate to 2000 rpm and above, the gears are all changed in a perfection like new and out of the ordinary very soft, the car has full power and continues strong, this happens both in the cold and in the warm. strangely, the computer does not show anything and this has worried me, the car has 280,000 km and the oil has never been changed, I emphasize

    If you're just changing the connector plug on the outside of the transmission, do you need to drain the fluid?

    This is for the 722.6 5-Speed.
    2005 C230 should take ATF 134 (Red) NOT the (Blue) 134FE.
    134FE is for 2010 and later models which were specifically designed to use the lower Viscosity oil transmission fluid.
    The 722.9 7 speed is completely different.
