Hi, I am from seattle. we are struggling because of accepting rates, no mileage shown, no payment shown, and it doesn't show where we are going. The only thing we know is that after customer pickup. The algorithm is very harmful for all drivers. They are locking the app at the back end so that they are wasting driver time. When I go online, it seems like I am online technically I am not they lacked the app at the back end. Drivering uber in seattle is the worst of worst I don't recommend it.

I just started asking people how much Uber charged them. I did one person. she got charged 50 something dollars and uber paid me 29 and change. that is over a 5 dollar theft from just that right. We all need to calculate the theft. I am bringing a notebook and pen and going to collect 100 rides and file a complaint.

Uber performance rates are a joke. They want to force us drivers to take crap jobs with acceptance rates. If I cancel a ride they allow the rider to rate me. Affecting my performance. They can offer $4 to drive 30 minutes and if you decline it, it affects your performance. If there's construction and you cancel it affects your performance. It's all a joke.

And ask me if I was engaged in sexual harrassment or flirtation. I accidently laughed out loud when he asked me that question because that was the last thing on my mind to expect. I dont know what's the best way to reach out to you, but I'd love to learn how you take on these abuse.
I understand why they don’t tell you what trip because a driver might have dropped rider off at home and now’s where they live and things can escalate but at the sane time riders would think twice before reporting bullshit claims to uber to maybe get a free ride
Lyft did it to me just saying you dropped customer the wrong address so we will deduct from your earnings $62 . I did tell Lyft that I have a dash cam and do safe the video of every trip that I make please proof that I did wrong. Instead to explain to me Lyft deactivated me. I will sue Lyft if they take my hard earned money
The job market is flooded with better jobs. Man up and learn new skills. Stop fighting these powerful corps. You won’t win and even if you do the autonomous car will take half your trips very very soon.
Well Washington is an “at will” employment state so that little law Seattle did is against that. Basically an employer doesn’t need to give a reason to fire you, same way in a lot of other states aswell. So in fact uber can deactivate a driver in an at will employment state with no explanation given.
In America, we are supposed to be able to question our accusers. With any gig, whosoever or whatsoever.

It very likely you are speeding and having harsh breaking. So it’s a good and valid report.
Have you noticed uber add the tips your earnings then calculate the percentage they are taking from us and make us believe we are keeping our tips.

Nope, I don't drive but those that do are not employees they are contractors.
The driver is not an employee, there is no employer - employee relationship. At will only applies if you work for a company.
