Is there a way to connect it to coaxial antenna I have seen a ton of reviews but none show this as an option I’m looking to record basic tv shows
You would need a tv tuner to convert signal like your tv does, and then output through a HDMI cable @@777smitty4

Wow $253! I bought mine a yr and half ago for $200. I had problems w/ my 4K cloner box: Fire Stick plugged in and the recordings were what appeared to be FPS problems. Best to see recording the ticker tape on the bottom of the screen w/ say Fox Busin channel. So what I did was place an HDMI splitter between the fire stick and cloner box and that helped a lot. One thing I would like is the rewind not gong back 1 whole minute if I missed something 30 secs is better

I get that pastel coloring sometimes from 4k stream links. I believe it has something to do with the fact that I use an AFT 4K Max but my TV isn’t 4K.

I get the same problem on the N-VIDEO SHIELD , Plus i cant get it to record to a hard disc drive even though it’s formatted to ex-fat.

Like another commenter below, I also can't get my device to recognize or export to an external drive. I tried formatting to every option and it never recognizes it. I tried customer service and couldn't get help, but will try again. Otherwise it's a nifty device, but I don't want to only be able to export to thumb drives.
can you schedule a program to be recorded? For instance, we like to record the evening news and watch it later.

Just 3 settings for recording? Is there one that offers a larger amount? We have about 7 programs we have on the dish DVR. Trying to find one that will record those.

I just bought this device last week and it doesn't work on PlayStation three anymore because Sony just updated their signal guard to block capture devices. It only detect the picture, but it would not record the sound update your video. This is no longer any use for a PlayStation 3.

Unless the data transfer rate of the internal storage is faster than the external USB port (e.g. NVMe), I see no advantage and prefer to keep the storage external. That way the recorded content is portable and hostable from a media server. Besides, it will increase the cost plus storage is never enough 😂
Will it record 4k fire stick when tv is not on
tv doesn't have anything to do with it other than watching what you are recording, the source to the DVR is the main thing to record anything
Does it also record the five point one surround sound

Hi Raymond, I show the HDMI in from a source and HDMI out at th-cam.com/video/KPsH4Dxk3is/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Q3CqXUBZvYTJ5KHW&t=224 part of the video but as far as the TV is concerned I guess I thought most have a knowledge of plugging into the HDMI port on the TV. Can you burn the flies to a DVD?
If you want then you need a DVD burner and software, I just put them on a HD
This is just a screen recorder, not a true dvr.

So can i just ask someone, im leaving virgin media ro go with a cheaper company that will be prividing me wuth just boradband. Virgin comes with a tivo box that recirds all my programs ect.. so i will need a similar device. Will this devise in this video do that for me?
Tivo is a much upscaled capture device, this can record what programs you run through it though but you cannot watch one thing while recording another
