I'm assuming the toggles only go up so that a setting can't be accidentally changed by something/someone hitting the toggle switch = well though out precaution.
Watching this guy try not to be impressed with this car is more entertaining than the video itself. Love the way this mustang sounds and looks. I can't say id own one but a Stock GT would definitely where my money would be.
I have to admire all the engineering that makes something this big and heavy go around a racetrack so well. Carlos touched on something that really pisses me off: the Recaro seats in all recent Mustangs have no lumbar support. Sucks. Recaro seats from way back when had air bladder adjustable lumbar. Were supremely comfortable and better than almost everything.
Hopefully Ford will make this engine available as a crate motor if they haven't done so already. Would be badass to see this in a Gran Torino or an early Mustang 👍
Did you see any big guys at the meet? I always get nervous when I see racing seats, iam a really big guy and I don't want to worry about not fitting in my new car lol

I giggled when he brought up the downshift technology. Wasn't that on ferrari f430 well over a decade ago? Kinda sad that something that seems to be just a reprogramming of the downshift paddle can take so long to trickle down. Wonder if the 10speed Auto will get this feature?

I'd still rather have a manual GT350 over this. GT350 sounds better and is lighter. That Ford rotating gear knob is cute but for aroung $100k it is too much especially $18k just to get the carbon fiber wheels albeit in a track pack.
Carbon fibre wheels are stupid expensive.. it’s make a a big difference when you are really tracking it. But for an average joe, it’s definitely not needed

too much with that being said I’m still impressed that someone managed 9.7 on stock power and tires on a demon. 10.3 for the red eye on radials fully stock besides the tires. 11.4 for a fully stock 1320 scat pack other than tires.
preludeF20Bking tires make a HUGE difference on a heavy high hp car tho. Demon on Cup tires run 10.7 then 9.9xx on radials (consistently not using sum -2000DA run) Redeye on cup tires run 10.9. The. About 10.3 on radials. Hellcats yes run about 10.5 on cup tires and 11.3 on Cup. That being said put Radials on this and it will be kissing that 9.9xxx mark.
Devin Bender GT500 can stop, turn and drag race with the best sports cars in the world. Hellcats and demons are only one trick ponys, nice cars but not as capable as the GT500. I would still chose a GT350 with a Whipple or turbo kit though.
Edmunds i have a humble suggestion/request. When showing the vehicle specs,could u please show them in the metric units as well? I know that maybe your majority of subscriptions are on the imperial system but could u please consider us metric as well. We might be in the minority but we still do exist hey. Thanks!

Ford could stop making the Mustang and I wouldn't notice, I haven't paid attention to it for maybe 10 years. This one seems pretty nice though for a Mustang. Even watching Carlos feels like a throwback to a different time.

Maybe you haven't driven a Mustang GT with the performance pack 1 with the 10 speed Auto. I bought one in May and I don't miss the manual at all. This thing is stupid fast on the shifts.
I love it for 1 those are the tires they used to put on the police cars the crown Vic but the crown Vic tires were different and by watching this video I realize if you can avoid a wheel spin dammit that Car houls butt
Thoroughly impressive car, but that grill is laughably bad. At least hide the blocked out bits better. And why won’t/can’t American car companies do solid interiors?? At least they are coming around on transmissions and steering.

For the price, track the ZL1/1le, daily the gt350 - the sound is to die for and its a manual, drag the original demon with the drag setup.

Fords done a great job with this car and it’s way overdue personally I would buy the Mustang PP2 or the GT350 and bank the rest of my money.
The strips look good on the Darker blues with white or Red with white. But any other color I would get just as a solid color.

lol, the toggle switches work one way, that's just engineering, the more complexity you add the more problems you add, so flip the switch up...
