Awesome car though love the sound too but I would want to hear the supercharger myself.
Great to see another perf version of the Mustang but a couple things I don't like. The first is that Gloss black bumper piece in the grill, reminds me of the Camaro and generally ruins the "big mouth" look of the front, IMO. Next are the rims, the style is boring and don't fit the cars intimidating looks, plus their the default gloss black finish. Finally you can't hear the supercharger, would be nice to sound great upfront as well as out back.
Matt Maran Motoring all I’m saying is when you spend $80-90k you should get a better interior, see new C8 corvette for example. Just my opinion, I know plenty of people who own mustangs and love the interior.

Curious what the deal was with the crackles and pops. Jay Leno's GT500 was crackling like crazy. He had the track pack, not sure if something is different about the exhaust, but there's clearly some difference which I find interesting.. Definitely an awesome car, but I agree that missing the supercharger whine is a real bummer, that was always a key element of big SC hitters like the hellcat and the Cobra. Curious how this will do against the ZL1 1LE at the track and also curious about how it'll do against the hellcat redeye at the strip. Will be interesting, what a time to be alive!
As a Bullitt owner myself, how would you compare it to your car overall? I’m not a track guy or drag strip enthusiast. But of course it’s the “ultimate” Mustang per some critics. What’s you feeling on this car compared to the Gt350 or the Bullitt or even the GT? As a value proposition or just as a comfortable daily versatile fun car.
It just depends if you want the higher capabilities. Personally, the extra power is fun if you've got the money to burn, but if you're just daily driving it in traffic and stuff, I like the lower limits of the regular Mustangs. I'm biased but the Bullitt is perfect for what I want, so I have no interest in owning a GT500, as cool as they are. GT350 has higher limits too but it's more engaging with the manual and the lack of low-rpm power.

Yeah, I'd get a base model with electronics. If you want more power than the Bullitt it's awesome, and as long as you don't mind the lack of a manual, it's a blast.
I know the term is quite overused these days in cars, but this car is a legit monster, albeit a very sophisticated one, not tamed, but educated. the new transmission seems awesome, but I will say this, it takes some time to get used to a muscle coupe such as the Mustang having a fast and trick DCT instead of a traditional MT. I think they skipped on the manual transmission on this one because rumors are they are having another track focused one in the pipes, and a 7 liter "BOSS" has also long been rumored. doesn't come in cheap, but then again, for the mint of car with that much power, appeal, and outright performance it's a bargain again. even without the hardcore aero carbon track pack, but if I were in the market for that, I'd go all the way for the full tilt carbon fiber track pack, fully equipped this one clocks in at just over $90k which is a lot of money sure, but then again, the amount of vehicle you're getting for that, it's like a steal again. as sual, very nice, informative and detailed presentation Matt !
There’s literally a Mustang for everyone at this point. The Ecoboost for those who just want the looks, the GT for those who want the heritage and power, the 350 for the real enthusiast with the money and now the 500 for the mad man with even more money. 😂

Great Review that’s very nice
Wow that sounds great!
You will appreciate that 4k weight when you get above 160 MPH and the car boats along solid and straight.
Does it tick?
There’s literally a Mustang for everyone at this point. The Ecoboost for those who just want the looks, the GT for those who want the heritage and power, the 350 for the real enthusiast with the money and now the 500 for the mad man with even more money. 😂
And even the super snake which to me is a manual gt500
And now even the crossover suv for the soccer moms ⚽
