I’ve just ordered a nice round soft Mat for it to sit on to help with insulation and more comfortable when sitting in it
Nice video mate, while not using the spa is there a mode to save power or to you have to have pump on all the time ?
Not really. We tend to turn our pump off at night just in case of an E02 Error as then it beeps all night!
Im so glad i found you .. your videos are ace😊. How often and how long should the filtering system be on . I dont use it daily due to shift work.
Im also on eco 7 so if i can do over night i try to but not sure if its false exonony if im not going to use till evening
Thank you. I switch off filter at night just incase of an error as it beeps. Then I heat it in the daytime. We’ve got the thermal cover which makes a real difference.

Yes the filters do get very dirty especially if lots of people are using it daily.
If you leave the filtration system on all the time I can see that it would need changing
Hello, I have the St Moritz hot tub. My problem is the water is emptying out of the bottom of the spa. The body stays upright so no air leaks, but can’t work out how the water is escaping.
There is the small cap inside where you can take that off to empty it but you’d see it come out the hose and I expect that has the cap on anyway. How odd. Hope it hasn’t got a hole in it from grit or dirt. It’s very very heavy when full of water and people. Hope you find the issue and can get it fixed
Hello! Any idea how could I repair any exterior damages ? Like scratching and small holes ?
It leakes air and the tub keeps deflating pretty quickly. 😅
You do get a repair kit I think with it but it’s only tiny. Best contact Bestway as I expect they make patches which can be glued on, if not try a well known auction site. Hope you can get it fixed
Hi there i have the Honolulu lay-z spa, and ive tried putting air in to the bottom part where you sit, can you show me a video of how to pump it up as im not 100% sure whats wrong with mine? Thanks
You can’t put air into the bottom part, it’s not inflatable. The plug you see is a drainage plug. That’s why we use this which is really good : Inflatable Spa Round Floor Protector Mat for Lay-Z-Spa - Protective and Insulating Hot Tub Floor Mat

Every time I use my testing strip the hard water is it zero! I have added calcium Hardner, but it still doesn’t test in the OK zone. What else can I do? Or .. is calcium not an issue for corrosion in an inflatable hot tub? Thx!!
To be honest I’ve not used any test strips in ours. I just replace chlorine tablets regularly and keep water clean by topping up every week or so with fresh water.
@Lurgs How To Guides how many tablets do you need and how long do they last? If your not useing it and its just in the garden do u still need to put the tables in it ?

I don't I'm afraid. All I use is Chlorine tablets and Stain & Scale Controller and it's all good.
My next door neighbour is complaining about the humming noise coming from the egg. I’ve bought a insulating cover. Anything else I can do? Other than turning it off
Get new neighbours, blimey they must be super fussy it’s only noisy if bubbles are on. Else we can barely hear it. Maybe they are jealous of you having fun!
so the bubbles turns off after 30 mins can I turn it back on straight away
Yes you can do but it does that to protect the motor so maybe best let it stay off a few minutes before putting it back on again
Rain water isn't actually dirty until it lands. Here in NZ, we use rain water in our homes..😊
You are very lucky then coz here in England the rain is definitely dirty! We’ve got a population of 70million in the same amount of space as you!
Why has my water gone merky after filling one week ago and bottom. Is slippery
Water has got too dirty. Need to make sure enough chlorine in it but also change filter regularly and keep filtration system on. If a lot of different people have been using it then it can get dirty quickly. Ours has been out for 8 weeks and water is still really clear.

Yes personally I do as it keeps the water clean but o don’t use brand new ones every time. I clean them and re-use.
