    Our favourite little mountain, last time we went up I had the fattest of our jack Russell’s ! I passed her rock to rock ,
    How can it be sunny just before the rocks and then raining on the Plato? You would not think that height difference would cause such different weather, it’s a great hill to start the kids off.
    Did well to find a spot.
    Cheers
    Keep em coming

    I have been viewing your channel for some time for the well respected tent reviews but something this time caught my eye and said view a trip report. Perhaps it was that unusual situation with magisterial views on so many sides. Something I've formed a bit of a view on is you are pleased to go 1 person tent if it will get the job done even when there is so much acceptance of the comfort and functionality of 2 person tents. I am myself am swinging very much 1 person and your inspiring summit camp here reminded me of a major reason why: when your searching for a pitch and the only choices visible is v marshie or rockie you have far better odds in a 1 person. Thx for posting.

    I actually skiied glen coe, about 40 years ago. There was a guy at the top of the chair lift. He grabed by the scruff of your neck and pulled you out of your seat at the top, rough skiing if you like.

    Stunning scenery - straight out of Lord of the Rings. I’ve also been finding streams are dried up. What radio have you found that works in the lumpy areas?

    • @AndrewParkOutdoors
      @AndrewParkOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      To be honest I had a £5 eBay shortwave radio from China and you were never without something to listen to. I've gone back to a wee Phillips fm/am purely as it's about the smallest lightest I could find at a basic price.

    Love watching your videos. I always learn so much from them. How are you finding the Access 1 ?

    • @AndrewParkOutdoors
      @AndrewParkOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Dan, light, strong and spacious. Only downside so far is the two stage pitch, would prefer pitch together with an exoskeleton, but hey. None of the condensation issues so far that it has been criticized for. A

    How would you compare you're tarptent to the access?
    Looking forward to the change in sunlight with the mornings/evenings.
    Thanks for doing what you do.

    • @AndrewParkOutdoors
      @AndrewParkOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for your support Lloyd, I think the access is more stable and quieter than the Scarp 1 I had. Also the Tarptent is a little lacking in quality of construction here and there ( having said that it was a few years ago when I had mine ). ATB A

    • @AndrewParkOutdoors
