    Jaz is THE BEST. I am serious. He is a genius. Just amazing. Killing Joke birthed so many bands that it's insane. They are the key... the missing link that created all that we love now.

    Killing Joke maybe one of the most underrated bands of all time. They essentially invented industrial metal. All of you lot out there that have never heard of these guys, but love bands like fear factory. Check these guys out. Sort of like the cure meets Motörhead. 🤘🏻😎🔥

      I liked fear factory but I don't see much of a similar thing going on. I met jaz in prauge in 2003 and went he took me for meals and bought me some smoke and had conversations about music. Great guy and I got him to sing asteroid to me in a bar. After a few whiskies he did so. ASTEROID HE SCREAMED.!😂😂 GREAT MEMORIES. @@Qwerty-ks8dnWhat?? This was an old comment, but a mischaracterization that I have to correct. It doesn't seem you know "Killing Joke", let alone did you listen closely to this interview. Jaz absolutely despises Communism, he doesn't trust mass Governments period. He prefers Democracies over Communism though, that's for sure... Did you hear him state he "loves the Constitution of America" in this interview? He is for a Collectivism govt, but without a centralized Federal power structure and most definitely against Capitalism which is what is pushing us closer to extinction.

    • @youjoker9647
      @youjoker9647 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I know it's absolutely fucking crazy. This guy is a musical genius. I'm surprised he's never been acknowledged for work done with Nigel Kennedy?
      One thing I don't like is his hypocrisy about the USA. I recall him stating he'd never tour the States again and that he hated everything about it, including many of the people. Sometimes he should try and remember what he's said in the past. As a musician he's astounding, not so sure about his rants on capitalism etc and the fiasco about the pledge, blaming management well he's a fucking classical musician and composer & he must have had an idea that the cost was a problem? He's always going on about £££s in an awful lot of interviews and how he's always skint. He talks a lot of sense but also a lot of utter bullshit.

    • @youjoker9647
      @youjoker9647 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Oh I must add, his bs on living on the road and having problems settling. Around 10 years back he was whining about 'missing' his home in NZ & how he hated being away from the country all the time. The weeds affected his memory. Love him as a musician but he comes out with some utter bs. His travelling around is actually good for him money wise. Anyone believing his stories about being a poor musician is naive. He sounds so disparaging about those of us who wanted what we fucking pledged for. I find him infuriating due to his bullshitting.

    Sadly with out Geordie I don't know how they will ever sound the same. 30 years of listening to a band that never got huge and changed in a bad way. KJ have been that thing that was the base of the modern rock sound that really very few knew about. I see people finding KJ now and its bittersweet. It's like a thing I've wanted to keep to myself but they also deserve all the credit they get. Not to mention that they have influenced more then music. Comics movies tons of other cultural things in the world would never of been with out KJ
