The incarnations of Batman and Daredevil we know today are mostly attributed to Frank Miller's versions from the comics. That's why there are so many similarities.

Remember..what makes Daredevil so dangerous is his ability to FEEL the wind displacement from every blow/kick/weapon swing u come at him with...your footsteps and heartbeat are like door knocks in his ears. U can't sneak up on him, or pull gats on him, because he can smell the iron/gun oil, etc. In past Marvel comic history, Murdock's gone hand to hand with Captain America and Spider, and match them. Peace, young brothas!

From the comic pages brought to life, In Frank Miller's Daredevil (Good Guys Wear Red, don't know the issue number), Daredevil is faced with having to stop the Punisher and having the gun at his fingertips. So as a comic fan I couldn't have been happier. I mean even down to the smallest details like showing Daredevil catching his breathe in these long fights. Nice little touches like that take the show up a notch for me but what takes it to a whole other level is watching how they've presented the Punisher.
Frank actually gets to play off another character and explain his point of view/world view/ideology. I loved the exchange of philosophy (similar to Tony & Steve in Civil War). It's not black and white on either side, but both sides are articulated very well. It's back and forth too. Really, the episode can be described as 2/3 philosophy. Just top notch tv, episode, season and reactions all around!

I think Daredevil is sort of the original Batman. The tonal version of Batman who most people are familiar with was done by the same writer who did the same tone for Daredevil first

They're both right. People deserve a second and even a third chance. But Punisher should be their 4th chance. 3 strikes you're out if the crime is bad enough.
The problem I have with Batman fans when they are saying he would win in a fight is they usually try to use his popularity as why he would win or they will state why THEY personally like him as reasons he should win, it is blatant bias. Just because Batman is a bigger social icon than his opponent does not give him ANY greater chance to win and so many of his fans are either incapable of unwilling to seperate that when arguing for a Batman victory.
Also Superman could dodge a Kryptonite bullet if he knew it was coming so it's not the foolproof strategy people think it is. Kryptonihe drains him it does not instantaneously render him at his weakest so the bullet wouldn't weaken him fast enough to stop him from dodging it.
Batman fanboys are the worst, for real. I used to love the character, but his fanbase is deadass stupid.
And they pull out a lot of dumb shit for him with it involves the Justice League. His solo HQs até way cooler.

Its our preference. I perfer anti heros over heroes/superheroes because anti heros do what they gotta do to make sure the threat is dealt with. Like Wolverine, Deadpool, Red hood etc.

Daredevil really only trained as a kid for a year or two, and then stopped training/fighting until college. Everything he's learned has been on the job. Batman trained for 13 years, (since he was eight years old) and hasn't stopped pushing and training to be as much of a force of nature as one man can be. Take away the money and the gadgets, Batman would still win against this version of Daredevil. Fully realized comic book Daredevil could stand up to Batman, but this version doesn't get there til the end of season 3.
personally, i believe this is Daredevil physical peak. In season 2, he has his armor, so his body doesn't take such a beating compared to season 1 & 3. his fighting style in season 3 is less kicking and more hand to hand. even by the end of season 3, he's took a beating, without any armor... so season 2 is his peak.
@@thetypingavocado574 But Season 3 Matt is the most experienced, and the best fighter he's ever been. Matt also fully comes into his own at the end of S3. Here in S2, he's still very conflicted and confused about who he is, and what he wants to be.
@@thechad4485 if you put it that way, yes in season 3, he's at his most experienced... but i feel his armor in season 2 gives him an advantage for stamina and endurance. so i would still say his physical peak is season 2, but he was his most disciplined in season 3.
@@thetypingavocado574 My only argument against that point would be that Daredevil becomes skilled enough that he beats Bullseye (who is wearing Matt's armor from season 2) without wearing any himself. Granted, if the show had continued, he would have gotten a new suit eventually, but Daredevil is one of the best fighters in the Marvel Universe, with or without the armour. Similarly, that's why I've never really pictured Batman wearing really thick armor. Both characters are essentially super-ninjas, and ninjas typically wear minimal armor, to increase their stealth, agility, and speed. Batman and Daredevil don't necessarily need the heavy armor, because they're just THAT skilled. At least, that's my line of thinking.

It could be this conversation is partly why Frank doesn't kill Billy later on. Also it's not just the vacuum left by Fisk. Punisher is hitting gangs and some think a rival gang did it so they just start killing each other.

Nigga Batman has mastered EVERY fighting style there is. Benches 1000 lbs. can sneak around SUPERMANS super senses. On top of being a world class detective that can solve a crime just from one look at the scene. A version of Batman with the jokers mindset in DC’s metal literally killed everyone or damn near everyone on the planet including the heroes and villains. Daredevil might put up up a fight but Batman is bodying him with it without gadgets.

Take away the supervillains, and Batman is a rich dude who beats up on poor people who HE believes are criminals regardless. They've made comics about it. Daredevil is much more street level and came from those streets. Like in season 1, he beat the sh*t out of that father who was abusing his daughter. That's not Batman though. He lives too far away to see what he's doing in the streets.

Batman is flat broke right now in the comics. The joker took his entire fortune ($100 billion dollars) has access to all of his gadgets, vehicles, and his company. Even with no resources at all along with Alfred being dead and the entire Bat family preoccupied Batman is still standing strong against Joker in fact next issue he's launching a counter attack against Joker.
That makes ZERO sense.

Even with the worst of the worst evil criminals, in a lot of real life cases, they’ll take their own lives rather than face jail/prison time when the public, victims and victims’ families want them to face consequences rather than taking the easier, even cowardly way out.
At a certain point it’s better to put them down permanently like Frank. Even as viewers we’ve seen what he’s dealt with and understand his methods but we’ve also seen Daredevil take down Kingpin and his whole organization.
Either way the stronger hero is whoever’s name is on the title of the comic lmao
