I really like Bleach. A lot of music reviews of the day called it a noisy album, but I think it holds up surprisingly well. I always feel like Kris got the short stick. Maybe he wasn't into being super famous either, but every time I see him here on TH-cam in interviews he's really insightful. I also enjoy when him and Dave get together to record stuff or play live.
I was there. 199 legal capacity but Dody and Seth would cram in 425 on sold out shows. Incredibly loud. This will read as a cliché but it is real: You had to be there. The air was electric. You could FEEL the culture change. Never experienced anything like it before or since. I saw many legendary shows, met many legendary bands. This is with The Clash on greatness level. Happened 4 times in the 20th C. Sinatra Elvis Beatles Nirvana
I remember when they came through Cleveland for this tour. A friend went, but I stayed back. I wasn't that into them. He said the show was good, but Kurt was sick and cut the show short.
Oh, wow, that’s cool! Yeah, in the one photo from this show he’s painfully skinny. Probably started experiencing those stomach issues that he’d complain about a few years later.
Love the vids 👍 Happy to see you’re feeling better
I was there right up front...what a n night
That’s rad!
I was there. It was fun. New songs sounded a bit tentative, but the Bleach songs were ferocious. Kurt was sick. Kris was the hilarious hype man.

Did it feel like a Dave Grohl show because his family and friends were there cheering him on?
@@RetroPopPlanet They were heckling him, but in a good natured way.
@@ericjones176 of course! I don’t doubt that.

About a girl is the first song on bleach.
Yup, see my previous comment.
It’s the 3rd song.
About a girl was on Bleach
Good catch! What I meant to say was the radio version that got picked up was from the Unplugged album. At least here in the DC area.
