Whoa this show and SVU are the best two hours on TV each week. Each weak the time goes by so fast, I just wish they had a third show to make it a Thursday Nigh Trifecta!
I love this new show, it puts SVU to shame. And it's great to have the old Stabler back. And his new Sgt thinks just like him, I love it. And what's even better is Stabler works for NYPD intelligence now. And intelligence doesn't follow the same rules as the rest of the NYPD.

Stabler had to leave SVU, he is better at organized crimes compared to how he was in SVU. There is just no way Benson and stabler could WORK together again.
I thought I saw one of the FBi men working with Stabler with Wheatley. Wheatley I believe has someone on the FBI working for him. I believe that is how he stays one step ahead of Stabler and the FBI.
If you can take down an Organized Crime Syndicate in one episode then they don’t need to exist. Al Capone was so well known because he cleaned up things so good it took the Feds years to take him down. Not by his big crimes either but because of taxes.

For Law & Order, this feels refreshing for a universe that deals with weekly bad guys. It's nice for a change to have a Law & Order show that deals with this. It's like Criminal Intent mixed with Chicago P.D. mixed with Empire.
Other shows do this too. You don't want to always see them always wearing a mask. It hides their face expression. The point of a show is to see the actors faces
Plus, you know for a fact that people aren't as strict on mask wearing as they were in the beginning, no matter where in the States you are. My state has a mandate still in place and I can clearly see anywhere I go that this rule is bent, especially in the workplace, as the police/detectives are shown here. I'm not up to speed on New York's mandates about it, but I expect it to be quite similar.
Wheatley is a very smart man. I can tell by his expression that he doesn’t trust his ex wife . He might do something to her..

No he don't, He work for the NYPD Organized Crime Task Force which is apart of the NYPD Intelligence Bureau which deals with Terrorism cases.

Not a fan of an entire season of cat and mouse with the same one bad guy.
