That test panel looks GREAT!! For $180 paint gun it works fantastic. I sold a brand new never used Sagola & Tekna Pro Lite because I can't do that type of work anymore. If I could, I'd buy one (or two) of these HF Black Widow HTE's. Thank you for the video.
wow, I'm a fan of several painting channels and those guys are really good at the trade. I must say what you said comparing the guns was so to the point and interesting that I was impressed. When you did the edges I thought to myself why is he doing that and then you said the same thing! I can't wait to see episodes 2 and 3. is a difference to the early version???
They do have spare parts, I just went and pulled up the manual from HF, on Page 19 is the spare parts and its parts numbers. I hope this helps. Normally you do have to call Customer Service to other the spare parts. I've done it will the old style gun!
Great video I learned a lot but if you might have the time I have a question that the HF folks cannot answer. Where can we purchase spray tips with different flow rates? I asked but they can't answer so I didn't buy it. Thank you and have a great New Year.
Harbor Freight only had 2 tip sizes for their BlackWidows, it’s the 1.3 and a 1.7, the HTE has the 1.3 and the HVLL has the 1.7 tip. Sadly in their line, that’s all they offer. Most major brands have all sizes, just not Harbor Freight. I hope this helps.
@@Shododaanthe hvlp version has a 1.7 and 1.4 set up while the HTE has a 1.3 but I'm not sure if there actually another nozzle set up because on its spare part list it only has a 1.5 needle but no mention of a nozzle or air cap with it
all the knock off Chinese guns use pretty much the same nosel and cap they are just different to match the gun they make a gun for $20 which sprays really good, im a auto refinisher (spray painter) have been for 45 years and I been using them for 5 years, I have 15 guns 10 that are Chinese to get a really good 2k clear with no peal you really need a branded gun the Chinese guns are great for primer and base, their pretty good for acrylic's but they spray heavy in the center of the flow patten once you know that you can adjust the fan to suit
And that fine . Because most of the China guns I've used perform better then gti gun anyways . Gti is way overpriced. This at least give us smaller shop guys a chance to make money in the trade .
Great review bro, the fender is looking real good 💯

I agree!
Which size tips does hte come with?
1.3 which is the most common tip size for Sealer, Base and Clear coat.
Will the devilbiss needle and tip fit the new black widow? Would like to find a 1.2 needle and cap that will fit the black widow
Looks like a well built guns
Any way to remove the swivel on bottom?
Did the fitting fit those cups you were using? Or did you get a different adapter. Which ML cup was that

I am returning mine no repair parts and they do have small upgrade parts.

Yeah very very smooth no crunchy 😂😂
My only complaint about this gun is there is no rebuild kit available for the gun unless someone knows something I don't
Have to go to their site or contact support
@@DayDay_Suave I'm actually getting ready to invest in the 3M performance spray gun with the interchangeable nozzles

Maybe could you test a spray gun from new brand PORPHIS? I saw it on Ins but I would like to know more about the performance. Thanks!
I will see if i can get one to try.
Looks like the $99 Devilbiss Gti china clone I got off eBay.
Hi
Good comparison but you clear coated over orange peel so you cant fully judge the gun as far as orange peel.
Looks like all they did was make an over priced gti pro lite knock off
