My only question about this video is how the original 5 endoskeletons got melted into remnant. Fire/heat gets rid of souls doesn't it? It did in FNAF 6 so how in the world did the MCI stick to the endos if they were literally melted

Dude, the Remnant sequence is genuinely haunting, oh my god. The way it cuts from Afton carrying a child to hurling an endo down onto the ground, and then melting them all down while their toys sit in the very same room is truly something. The music is also just absolutely phenomenal, it really adds to the emotion and desolation that the scene has. This is all such a good way of laying out the story, it is truly incredible! Well done to everyone involved!
Right?! Oml, just imagine being in a child's mind being thrown onto the conveyer belt slowing moving into a huge lit furnace. That must be extremely terrifying.
Yeah that bit was so well done but also so awful. I think sometimes we forget how bad what he did is. It's cult game that we love but the minute you actually think about it too long it's really horrific and this really showed that
We all already knew William Afton is a monster. But good Lord, that entire sequence...it just hits home how sick and evil he is. Just like Henry said: lured these innocent souls, overpowered them, and took all they had, and then did it again. All for his own selfish gain.
@Mrryn exactly! You know from the story what he did was bad, but with time you get desensitized from it. That part just hit like a train, together with Henry's words
I never do this, but for you I will make an exception. This video is my number 1 of the year and a perfect one to close it. Absolute respect to you and all the people that made this happen.
The idea of Cassidy being springlocked feels like such an obvious thing that was just... looked over for the longest time. It makes almost too much sense for that to be the reason they're "the one he should not have killed" as the agony attached to something as torturous as a springlock failure would make Cassidy much more violent and vengeful than the others. I never would've thought about something like that before watching this, amazing theory-crafting as always John!
I also believe he was springlocked. I just read book #3 from the fazbear fright books. In one of the stories a boy named Kelsey is lured by his “friend” into the golden Freddy suit and he is springlocked. I think maybe the feminine name is a parallel to Cassidy.
@clairefrickvape Also. in this book, Kelsey is a boy with blond hair, but when they go back, they find someone with curly black hair inside the Golden Freddy suit. This didn't mean anything at the time, but [SPOILER ALERT] now that Return to the Pit released, when Oswald gives cake to the children, the last one is a girl with curly hair. This could be Susie, but since it was the last one, a lot of people are saying this is Cassidy and this is meant to represent the Happiest Day
@joaocomtil_ The fact that Kelsey had blonde hair and died inside of Golden Freddy/Fredbear and the spirit possessing Golden Freddy in the movie timeline is also a boy with blonde hair has me wondering: is Kelsey the name of said boy with blonde hair? Just something worth mentioning.
“There are so many ways to interpret the story, and this is mine.” Perfection. You weaved together your narrative so well. Witnessing the origin, the actions, and the defeat of William in such a way does him so much justice. Your narration coupled with the fantastic music and visuals makes this a production worthy of a theatrical release! Well done, all of you!
@aidenwind1041 It's probably the best timeline for explaining motivation behind the characters. MatPat and GameTheory always struggled with that, but i think this timeline does a really, Really good job of that.
@@LyricAndCompany" trust me bro " fact is tho that even if he did its his business to sell. He built it from the ground up but ppl online sure like to get on their high horses n dictate how others should do this all while having no skin in the game.
I'm not one of these people, just clarifying before I say this, but most people simping for him like his physical appearance rather than who he is (hence them commenting "hear me out" to Springtrap or his various depictions throughout the Silver Eyes trilogy). @@MokPlex

I LOVED the storytelling in this video. It was very easy to follow and comprehend. The visuals were just the cherry on top. Keep up the amazing work!! I look forward to watching more of your videos. :)
Everyone’s talking about the amazing transition from William carrying a child to carrying an endo, but I’m over here gushing about the Ennard scene! SO CHILLING! Love this entire video!!!
I feel like I should be paying for this content. This was seriously unreal, it felt like a true movie of the entire franchise. Bravo John for putting together this legendary piece of FNAF content creation
Gosh man, hearing Henry's speech in that way is so cool. I love that guy. Anyway, I LOVE this timeline John "Fuhnaff", especially making William a true narcissist rather than being a "caring". Chef's Kiss
This franchise is about illusion - about things that look alive that aren't, about things that look dead that are alive, about people who think they control everything, and about spirits who save others with seemingly small acts of kindness. Even the games themselves fake us out multiple times - FNAF 2 is actually a prequel, Afton is stuck in Spring Bonnie the whole time, the bite of 87 is different from the bite of 83, the friendly Circus Baby manipulates the player into setting her free, and an 8-bit pizzeria simulator turns into an epic finale
Um, HELLO?? Professional narrator, modeler, animator, script writer and video editor John FuhNaff, is that you?? This is so professionally put together, and the animations are insane! Everyone did such a great job! I'm only ~20minutes in and you've already put together some things i've never heard anyone say that just makes things make so much more sense!
Literally my only note on this was not addressing Mangle at all, but otherwise??? This was hands down the best FNAF video I’ve ever seen. You’ve grown so so much since you started and we couldn’t be more proud.
i never truly understood the darkness of the game until this video. the visuals, the graphics, and storytelling. wow. just wow. you and game theory are a force to be reckoned with
The part about melting the five living animatronic kids endos down is so dark, it hits extra hard seeing it animated. All of this does. Absolutely incredible John. I hope you're so proud of this project.
I recommended this video to literally everybody I know, honestly the best video I have ever seen on TH-cam and I have been watching videos on this platform for 10+ years. I would be lying if I said I haven't watched this 5+ times. You really out did yourself FuhNaff
THIS IS PEAK! LOVED THIS FROM START TO FINISH! What an amazing video, super proud of you for getting this out, you've been talking about this for AGES! The final product is amazing, I love when people make FNAF into an actual STORY like this it's so good! AMAZING WORK JOHN! :D
THIS is crazy. I am 1:30 into the video and am stunned by this cinematic and thrilling intro. My first thought went to the people who are jumping off the fnaf train because the lore is getting so unmanageable. I really hope this video is giving the spark back to those people. John you and all people who worked on the video are awesome ❤
This is the cleanest and most cohesive timeline that ive seen in a long time. Even matpats timeline from last year wasnt this cohesive. My guy, classic fnaf was best fnaf and this timeline does it justice
38:15 this was the most heart wrenchingly beautiful FNAF animation I’ve ever seen. John thank you so much for making this whole video a reality- I’ve never been more happy to be a FNAF and FuhNaff fan 💜
An absurdly good timeline. A solid theory with exceptional animations, its own ost, visuals, and KEPT IN AN HOUR? Absolutely insane. You've truly outdone yourself with this one.
The 'Connection Terminated' speech still gives me goosebumps. Something about the way Henry addresses Elizabeth, there's no warmth there. He's fully aware that she's a monster, and he doesn't want to listen to her talk anymore. Scott did NOT need to go that hard, but I am so glad he did cause it is cool af. (Same with the Orville line tbh. The word choice makes me picture the Vengeful Spirit trembling with rage, practically snarling the words - "I will keep you here. No matter how many times they *BURN* us!") Animations were top notch, the FNAF4 ones made me really tense! And it's always nice to see someone else take a swing at this messy timeline. Though I hope one day Scott actually clearly spells out exactly what the story as he created it is, I think this iteration is one of my favourites. Thank you for the video, John "FuhNaff". Very kind of you to keep the channel running after the disappearance of FuhNaff "FuhNaff".
There is no “story as he created” because it kept changing. That’s not a bad thing and honestly probably one of the reasons people like to engage with the story, it becomes wickedly open to personal interpretation, but it’s also the source of the biggest frustration which is poor continuity. The closest answer would be him going game by game and pointing just about everything out, “this is what the box meant when I first made it” “this is why I put this line in” which kind of ruins what the community likes about FNAF anyway. Props to him because even without having a set story in place, the concrete parts are fairly inspired, and again it’s made for a unique narrative media but there really won’t be a satisfying definitive final answer. Or if it is it’ll just be a big messy retread of all the ways the story WAS going until it changed itself lol
@bigblue207 Well, yeah, that's what I mean. Even if he has still changed things, what was added had *some* intent behind it, and to this day, we don't have much of a picture on what that intent was. We can interpret it, sure, but I would like to know how the story as he included it looked: Were we close? How close? What did we get right/wrong? How many things did he add because we didn't get the idea the first time? Were there any things he added that started as fan headcannons that he decided sounded like a good inclusion? There is a "story as he created". More than one likely, yes, but even that's more of an evolution than a different story. He has main plot points, it's just a matter of what he feels best fits to reach them. And the only person who has all that information kicking about in their brain is Scott himself. I truly do hope that one day we get it straight from the horse's mouth, so to speak. Even if the story isn't done yet, just knowing what ideas he's thrown out there, what's stuck around, what's been resolved and what hasn't. Hell, what things he started to seed out there that he then decided didn't feel cohesive to the rest or wasn't satisfying from a storyteller's perspective.
The part where Cassidy’s soul becomes red that goes down to Afton so fucking cool knuckle clouds just looks so realistic everything just looks so realistic great job John FNaF
This is just insanely good. Ya'all left me speechless! Big props to John for pulling an amazing team and glad to see familiar faces make something incredible. Amazing job everyone!!! 💜💜💜
Wow. You should feel very very proud of yourself John. I've been watching you for years and it has been pleasure to see you continue to break boundaries and push yourself even harder with every new project, all leading to this masterpiece. This was incredible, from beginning to end. From the narration, to the voice acting, to the animations, to the music... everyone involved in this absolutely smashed it. Congratulations on making it happen, I can't imagine the amount of time and effort it took 👏
I always thought Williams bunker was under Circus Baby’s Pizza World, but it makes more sense that it was under his house. Great video, loved the animations it truly felt like a movie!
You comment got me thinking... how did the Circus Baby Animatronics continue to be rented if they were under Afton's house... ? Either way, this timeline makes the most sense to me right now.
I’ve been waiting for this video for SO long, can’t wait to watch it on the plane (downloaded and ready lol). Congrats on everything John, I admire you!
Out of all the Fnaf timeline theories there are, this one has got to be my favorite. It’s narratively satisfying and, to me, works well laid out in this order, though I still love and respect the other theories I’ve heard before. This was amazing to watch, I am so impressed by everyone who had a hand in making it. You guys are so incredibly talented, this came out beautifully!
i’m absolutely speechless. i’ve watched so many fnaf theory videos for years and this one is by far the one that makes more sense, and it’s very well explained and beautifully cinematic. love this video SO much, you are so talented and smart and just did the perfect job ever! congratulations
my favorite part was Afton and his family enjoying tea in Britain, where they lived happily ever after, the end. thanks for calling me once again John, everyone did simply amazing in this and i'm glad to have been a part of it
i've been watching fnaf theories for almost a decade, ever since you came around it's been so refreshing.. i've never teared up for any fnaf related content until now.... this timeline has been the most heartfelt and smoothest one to date. Wow.
Agreed and I've also been watching fan theories for about a decade now and felt the same way when John first started posting. Very refreshing to see such a positive influence that keeps growing, learning, and raising the bar. Not too mention always has unique theories that really take you on a journey and see things in way you never had before. So cool to see and the animations, music, sound design, and transitions were soooo good! I feel spoiled this year just from the amount of amazing theory vids from HyperDroid, John, and Ryetoast and then also finding a few more newer/smaller theorists Im really enjoying (one of which is Nervous (shesalwaysnervous), shes great if you havent checked some of her vids out).
Genuinely the best explanation of FNAF I’ve ever seen. The other ones have confused me so badly but with this you’ve got clear explanation and even cinematic moments. Epic video dude!!!
. this is the best telling of fnafs timeline i have ever heard. it’s practically a movie, with the vfx, music and animation. damn good work to you, john
Words cannot describe how cool it feels to be in a project with so many other artists i have seen the work of and inspired by everyone did such a great job, i feel very proud to have been part of this not to mention John was extremely nice to work with (trust me i've had my fair share of incompetent commissioners and directors) so thank you John FuhNaff, for this amazing opportunity and a pat on the back to everyone who was involved.
Dude, the Remnant sequence is genuinely haunting, oh my god. The way it cuts from Afton carrying a child to hurling an endo down onto the ground, and then melting them all down m sorry ?! WHAT, the visuals are insane !! It looks so professional omg. This must’ve taken so much hard work, loooove it. edit: thnx for 300+ likes yall
Out of all the timelines ive seen i can safely say this is one of the best ones Not only is it great, being coherent with the lore on the games and following a good storyline, the visuals, the music, absolutely everything is so utterly amazing I can tell you poured your heart and soul into this project, keep up the great work i love this and i cried so much my brain is happy
Dawko being the voice for the freadbear and friends tv show announcer is just golden, amazing video John we all appreciate the hard work put into this ❤❤❤
38:50 I have rewatched this part of the video like six times now, the pain, the agony, the sensation, the fear, the knowledge of being next...it's all so beautifully communicated by the expressions and music. WOW.
The video quality and editing in this is beyond ridiculous. This is some Hollywood quality movie trailer type of stuff. John Fuhnaff is goated. The FNAF throne has been reclaimed.
this creator deserves millionsss!! Been playing FNAF 5 years, my fav, but I didn't actually understood the story due to complexity of timelines, but this guys made it look so simpleee🎉🎉
This was genuinely so well made. Incredibly well written, showcased, animated, orchestrated, and more. It honestly felt like watching a movie at times. You and everyone else who has worked very hard to make this did a fantastic job. This is definitely one of the best interpretations of the lore that I have seen and heard. There were moments that I was like "What about this" or "What about that", but you were always three steps ahead and answered my questions as I watched. If you are to make a part 2 explaining the lore of the modern era of games next, then I cannot wait to see how you will present it. Well done! Also, I can't get over just how beautifully presented the scene is with the children's souls finally getting to move on to the afterlife, and then followed by only one left glows red with anger, choosing to stay with a vengeance, burning through the ground, to reach William's lifeless body. The visual effects, the camera movement, the beatifully crafted music and the way it takes a turn. It actually gave me chills.
SOOOOO BUT SOSOSOSO GOOD!! loved the cinematic touch to the narration, the cameos, and the consistency of it all!! since i watched the first fnaf theory video from this channel i knew instantly that great things would be in its future, incredible work as always! excited for the next timeline
Hi! Just watched your video! It is amazing! I just wanted to share the HORROR I felt when I realized, the reason of why possibly William put on the Spring Bonnie Suit could be not because he was scared, rather, that he KNEW he wouldn't end up passing away with him being inside of the suit. So he mocked and laughed at them whilst he was dying, knowing they could NEVER get their revenge.
Although I don't 100% agree with everything said in this video, I have to say that this is, without question, the greatest FNaF video I've ever watched. The visuals are amazing, the storytelling is great and the overall atmosphere is enhanced perfectly by the music! Amazing work!
This is so good?!?! All the cutscenes are so well animated! And this helped me understand the lore even more. This is so well made, words can't describe how much I love this video! And the transition of William carrying a child to carrying an endoskeleton makes me feel uneasy in a good way, this deserves more views!
The visuals and music on this video were crazy! That scene with Afton burning the endos had me in actual tears, dispite the fact I’ve heard the story multiple times. This is by far my favourite iteration of the FNaF timeline I’ve seen so far!
The whole video felt like a documentary. I loved it! Amazing job to the other peeps who helped on the video, and I'm glad I was a part of this project! 🎉
These visuals are sooo cinematic and professional! with them, it's easier to imagine how the events must've unfolded. Like, this video was phenomenal! I loved each part of it, and the explanations were top-notch! I wasn't even aware of how Afton planned to use remnant for his own advantages, like damn. With the whole underground facility thing, I was like, "Whaaa?" 😮. Bravo man, you've earned a sub!
It’s definitely interesting that the Fnaf lore is so complex and the whole story line fits into one. And what makes it crazier is that we’ve all been searching for the answer for ten years…
Afton carrying the endoskeleton gave me chills, what a stunning video john !! incredible visuals, music, and storytelling, this one is gonna go down in Fnaf history
You've been my favorite fnaf TH-camr for a very long time. I remember when you started off as a simple fnaf newsletter channel. I've known the FNAF video games for a while now but never really got to understand the lore of it all. Thanks to this video I now know the basic plot and going to dig deeper into this fascinating world. I was so astonished with the visuals and the music that I genuinely thought it was an official cinematic short. Awesome job. Keep up the good work.
To everyone who worked on the visuals in this behemoth- WOW. WOW wow wow wow. I had watched this on my phone at first and then watched with my partner on the TV and I actually wept through the endo melting scene. THIS IS RIDICULOUSLY AMAZING. like thats it. everyone else can go home. dude didnt just make a timeline vid, he produced a whole ass movie, and one thats more entertaining then anything ive seen in theaters in years. but at the very core of it, this video is amazing because is so perfectly represents what FNaF stands for: evolved storytelling, inspiration and artistry. scott made a little game so many years ago and now we have such talented individuals and groups of people coming together to create joys of work like this for us to enjoy. its just splendid.
@yourrandomyoutuber2211 That’s the thing, they aren’t. Anything starting from help wanted onwards is unrelated to the of fnaf games. There’s very little that’s connected.
What an absolute treat. The animation, the models, the music, the voice -work, the narrative and of course the theory crafting. All of it extremely high quality. Massive well done to you John as well as Cybert for editing this beast as well as props to the animation crew.

Also the audio of golden freddy from fnaf ar sounds like them being springlocked

Perfection. You weaved together your narrative so well. Witnessing the origin, the actions, and the defeat of William in such a way does him so much justice. Your narration coupled with the fantastic music and visuals makes this a production worthy of a theatrical release!
Well done, all of you!
I wouldn't call it perfection, but its probably as close to it as it will ever get. Dang
@aidenwind1041 It's probably the best timeline for explaining motivation behind the characters. MatPat and GameTheory always struggled with that, but i think this timeline does a really, Really good job of that.

Have I played FNAF? No.
Will I watch a 1hr video explaining its timeline and lore? Yes.

The segment at 38:15 has to be the most haunting bit of FNAF animation I’ve ever seen
Whoever wrote the music for the segment at 38:12 deserves an Oscar and I am not joking.
An Oscar or a Grammy?
@@ASAP_Cocky_fr I'd say Oscar because this feels like a movie that deserves the Oscar for "best original score."
On the Spotify funnaff and apangrypiggy made this music.
The music across the ENTIRE video is absolutely PHENOMENAL.
No matter how many times they *BURN* us!")
Animations were top notch, the FNAF4 ones made me really tense!
We can interpret it, sure, but I would like to know how the story as he included it looked:
Were we close?
This was so well edited wow
The part where Cassidy’s soul becomes red that goes down to Afton so fucking cool knuckle clouds just looks so realistic everything just looks so realistic great job John FNaF
