I hope you didn't travel with the inflatable one. I tried it a few years ago and it didn't work. Being 6'2", it was uncomfortable and slippery, with no proper place to rest your head. I tried using the tray and my knees, but it felt like my neck would break. I'm looking forward to trying neck support braces. Thanks!

Tried it once, not great. The other downside is it shakes the person's chair in front and they get annoyed!

I've also been looking for an inflatable travel pillow (like the last one in black in the video) that is taller than the ones usually available. Most of them seem to run about 19.6 inches tall. I've used mine on several trips and it is just...not...quite...comfortable...enough. I found one that is is listed at 21.7 (Povinmos is the brand) that I'm going to order and give a try. If you have run across any that are taller, maybe you can pass along the info on where to buy it.

hey I appreciate the effort! I have a flight to sydney from LAX kind of soon and am dreading not being able to sleep as a 6'7" guy. Anyways cheers I hope your custom solution works for ya

Have you tried the Trtl Plus? It's height adjustable and seems a better fit for taller people. I haven't tried it, but I've seen plenty of people complain that it's too tall for their neck even at the lowest setting.

Yep, it was out of stock at the time I made this video. I since bought it and will review soon. It's still a little short for me at the tallest setting haha, but a definite improvement!

Try the Cabeau Evolution Cooling Travel Pillow. It seems a bit better than the Cabeau Evolution S3.

Have tried in another video I filmed of ten more pillows but lost most of the footage 😝 the cabeaus do not have enough support, the material just collapses under weight and doesn't come up far enough even if it didn't, and the clasp just comes apart without being able to hold your head like a vice as desired lol 😞

have you ever found one that works? asking for a 6’6’’ friend

The best actual travel pillow is probably the TRTL Plus, but it's still not tall enough. I travel with a custom solution that is outlined in my other video on this topic. It might work well for your friend but depends on their comfort level with looking ridiculous 😅

Thanks! I am actually looking at Trtl plus for myself at this very moment (5’11’’), my 6-6 friend may be beyond help 😅

Very curious, what is your custom solution you made? I'm in EXACTLY the same "position" as you and had a good laugh about this vid (in sympathy). Very curious as to what you came up with please?
