Southern Appalachian boy here, from a backwoods valley in the Blue Ridge Mts, just west of Asheville, NC. Been a metalhead since my first foray into discovering my own tastes in the late 80s/early 90s. But prior to that, my fathers tastes were always country and bluegrass. I was never a fan of the message/lyrics of most bluegrass once I became an atheist, but the instruments and style still always held a place in my heart, and I had always wondered what rock and metal with banjos and fiddles would sound like. Not just covers like Iron Horse, but original and heavy music. Two-ish years ago, my all time favorite band Soilwork opened an album (Overgivenheten) with a few twangs of a banjo and I got really REALLY excited, only for it to fade in to the background a few moments later and never be heard again. About a month ago, one of your songs popped into my TH-cam feed for some reason. I don't really use YT for music, and honestly the things I do watch on YT don't betray my normal tastes at all (90% of my watch time is probably just Minecraft and Let's Plays and video essays about movies and books). I love you guys, rock on!
Hahaha! ROCK ON!
Yeah, man - we'll be dropping a new song each month, and I'll put together a video like this for it... hopefully that keeps everything straight with everyone.
Merch is definitely an ongoing process and we're learning as we go. I think that we're starting to find our groove here so we'll prolly have a little more time to devote to making more merch options in the very near future.
Touring... that's a tough question! We've got families and jobs and whatnot. So this would have to really take over as full-time work before something like that is on the table. I hope someday!
@@AppalachianAnarchy hey guys, take your time. According to Spotify I'm fan Nr 248 and I'll be here when it hits a million. Much love!
Niiiiiiiiiiiiice, Brother! Thank you
Dunno why, but i really expected some flannel shirts and overalls. Oh, and prolly some moonshine jar. Next time, maybe?
