I really love how this channel isn't saying "the Bible isn't proof that God isn't real". Instead, they say, "okay, let's say that the Bible IS proof that God is real and let's take the Bible seriously. I mean, I still enjoyed reading it as a kid. I was never theist. The bible is a book of stories agreed upon by a bunch of old men, at various sittings - many books were not included, intentionally not included, as they didn't fit the desired narrative. Just think on this, a 32 year old man died on a cross after a few others when it usually took many days to die. He was carried at night (which Jews don't move dead people at night) to a cave. A woman who was not family, helped clean him up and then they were gone ... him and her.

He wasn't killed by crucifixion, he gave up the ghost when he died, meaning that it was under his control. (John 19:30) Also the soldiers impaled him to make sure he was dead. 3. He wasn't carried at night. The Jewish day starts at sunset, and since the sabbath was the day after Jesus's crucifixion, the bodies had to be off the crosses by then. Luke 23:53-56 explicitly states that Jesus was buried, then the women went back and did work, and then rested because of the sabbath, meaning that the sabbath (and by extension, nightfall) had not yet come to pass before Jesus's burial. 4. Also in Luke 23, the woman never cleaned the body, she returned and prepared the spices for when she would go back the third day.

I was a catholic till my late teens. I went to a strict catholic school that had a mandatory mass at least once a month, not to mention Sunday mass. Funny how, in all that time, I never heard them use any of the passages shared by DarkMatter ever. It's almost like they were only picking and choosing the ones that sounded ominous or upbeat. 🤔

I'm an atheist and I'm against abortion and killing innocent people in general. Life is life. Whether it's growing inside a woman, an infant, a toddler, disabled, or elderly. The pro-abortion stuff within atheist circles is very strange to me. I couldn't care less about religious arguments against abortion. As an atheist, that doesn't persuade me in any way. But I wish more people looked at abortions more objectively: the killing of an innocent, unborn child. It makes me sad. As a child, I remember the pain my mother felt when she had a miscarriage. It certainly felt like she lost a child, and me a sibling. Heck, it was one of the things that started making me doubt the existence of a God. Perhaps, my experience makes me biased, but I think abortions (where there is no medical emergency) is abhorrent.

Obviously it would be naive to think I know what that's like. Honestly, even with the "Life" standpoints, I still support abortion 100%. Objectively, when you're comparing a fully grown person to a fetus that still requires the woman's body and blood to survive and form into a person, then you're really stretching the semantics. "Life" at that point is just a technicality. Yeah, technically a fetus is a lifeform. Insects, plants, and single-cell organisms are also lifeforms too, but if they were growing inside of your body, you'd get rid of them in a heartbeat if it was effecting you in any significant way. Not to be cynical, but life and death are both just a part of life in general. You can't eliminate the concept of death from existence. You could discourage death as much as you'd like, but it is unavoidable. Personally if I were a woman I don't know if I'd ever be able to have an abortion, but I'm not gonna pretend like every woman who would be willing to have one is crazy. Bringing another human into the world is a process. Holding a lifeform in your body for 9 months is just as much a process as getting into bed and doing the deed. If a woman chooses to end the process of creating a new person after becoming pregnant, I really don't think it's as morally abhorrent as you make it out to be. A fetus (and form(s) previous to fetus) is not the same as a person. Not even the same as OTHER lifeforms. It doesn't feel pain (in a way a born human or animal does at least), it doesn't have memories, it doesn't live any kind of real life outside of what's basically a cocoon. To get overly emotional specifically ON BEHALF OF the fetus I think is just plain silly. Now, if you're emotional on behalf of the mother, than that is understandable. Abortion could negatively impact the mother, so in many ways it's ok to not support it in your personal life. HOWEVER, not every woman is the same, and some women have various personal reasons for having abortions, they have different viewpoints, they have different perspective and can still be 100% healthy in the mind with or without abortion being a factor. That's essentially why I'm very much pro choice.

When I was 12 my father's heart stopped for 2 mins b4 the medics restarted it. He'd had a massive heart attack. He said he didn't see anything at all. Technically it still takes like 6 or 7 minutes after death to achieve brain death (true death) because if he was still able to be revived it means he wasn't (truly) dead yet. He sounds like a cool dude though 😊 I am sorry for your loss 😞
I can confirm that your dad was right. When I had my near death experience all I could "see" was my body in the hospital room I was in. All I could sense behind me was darkness. Death is just sleep. After we "die" we sleep for awhile before being reborn again. And if you know what you're doing you can have a past life regression to "find" memories that are buried deep in your soul. We are all beings of energy and energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only change form. We are all just the Universe experiencing itself.

Hell is worse than what you think (I was shaking after that experience), and Heaven is better than what you think. I have also received a personal healing miracle, I can go into details if you want. This video is absolute genius this video has the believer confessed his views and beliefs of God then after they confess their viewpoints openly the video entraps the Christian into a spider web snare and keeps them locked on to their original beliefs and morals of this specific subject for example and rips them apart using their Bible and their God and asks the believer can they still stand by their loving God which the believer would feel cornered and unable to escape and cannot go back on their original beliefs from the beginning that were openly confessed which makes them continue to agree with God's ways and has them up here contradicting and delusional by that later time. I really love this channel, I especially binge watch his videos a long time ago. I couldn't keep up because of having some....life issues. However I still consider myself a believer a God. Also because with context of history and how the bible has been edited over the thousands of years it existed and we'll never know what it truly said. Especially with the constant re-translation of the bible, the corruption of man, and the periods which include the dark ages which was the corruption of the church which led to the constant editing of the bible. We will never truly know if the bible we read now is the right one, because there isn't any. I still believe in God tho, a believer at best and an agnostic and worst. Why? because of.....well paranormal shit happening in my lifetime. Especially encountering things that shouldn't exist. Even if some people believe God doesn't exist, or does. Actually conservatives usually support politicians who want to propose legislation and implement policies that make it easier to raise children such as; lower property taxes, protectionist policies to maintain a certain level of labor jobs, and a flat tax that would only grant deductions for having children or severe disabilities. Turns out it’s his young virginal daughter. (This chapter is also fascinating because Jephthah tries diplomacy first, and in negotiating with the King of the Ammonites, Jephthah straight-up says that their god Chemosh is every bit as real as the Lᴏʀᴅ YHWH, and has just as much authority to assign lands to his worshipers as the Lᴏʀᴅ does for his - but I digress….) Unlike with Abraham and Isaac, no angel stops Jephthah at the last moment. No alternative animal sacrifice is found trapped in a bush. The young daughter was in fact a *_human_** sacrifice* that was _accepted_ by the Lᴏʀᴅ God of Israel, who, remember, _kept His end of the deal_ *and* supposedly knew what was going to happen before it did. He could easily have caused her to trip or stumble so that one of Jephthah’s lambs or whatever got to him first. *What is the penalty causing for an abortion? Exodus 21:22-25* (just a chapter after the most well known version of the so-called Ten Commandments) says it’s a _fine_ unless the _mother_ is harmed. The KJV and some other translations are ambiguous on this point, but many others make it plain: the “further harm” _must_ be to the _mother,_ because the _baby _*_dies_* in this scenario! Some others just say that the baby is born _prematurely,_ but think what that means: this was before we had neonatal ICUs and hyeline membrane treatments. It was before they even understood about human gestation. Heck, back then they thought that the womb was analogous to _soil_ and that the man planted his “seed” in it and a baby grew in it, with the mother contributing only the “soil” (thus the term “barren” used for an infertile woman, and even “semen” which we use to this very day is the Latin word for “seed”). Not to mention that when this Law was supposedly given, the Israelites were in a _desert_ - you know, very hot in the daytime, very cold at night, and very dry all the time - pretty much the _180° diametric opposite_ of a neonatal ICU with precision temperature control and very high humidity to keep the sensitive lungs from collapsing so much before the hyeline membrane can grow. This, mind you, in the _same chapter_ and just a few verses after a verse that says that if a son or daughter curses either parent, that’s a *_capital_** offense!* *When does Personhood begin* according to the Law of the Lᴏʀᴅ God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob? At age *one month old **_after birth!_* _Seven times_ this is explicitly stated: twice _commanded_ by the Lᴏʀᴅ God of Israel Himself, in *Numbers Chapter 3* (same book as and just two chapters before where that abortifacient herbal tea as a test for marital fidelity thing that you _did_ talk about came from), *starting at verse 14.* This is about a census, a “numbering” (thus the very _name of that book itself!),_ first of the tribes of the sons of Levi who act as priests and assistants (each of the sub-tribes of the sons of Levi is numbered separately and assigned a specific task in the worship), then a second census of all of the Israelites. Babies younger than that have *no value **_at all_* in the eyes of the Lᴏʀᴅ God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob! So, according to the Law of the Lᴏʀᴅ, not only are the UNborn not Persons worthy of being counted in a census or being assigned monetary value, *neither are **_NEWborns!!_* He doesn’t _just_ endorse _abortion,_ but also *infanticide!* (Actually, of course, this almost certainly came about because of high infant mortality so ancient societies didn’t bother naming or otherwise getting too attached to a newborn until it’d proven that it could survive. You can't be honestly making this case. In Numeri 3;14 f considsering the numbering it says that male children that are 1 month and older should be counted. This is clearly talking about already born 1 month old children since there was no ultrasound or chemical test to determine the sex of an unborn child. In Exodus 21;22 there is mention of an accidental hurting of the unborn not a deliberate harming and killing in an abortion. This undeliberate harming has a penalty of money appointed. Similarily in the law if someone accidentaly killed another person he didn't get the same as a muderer. So your whole case about God counting already born children under 1 month and the unborn as unvaluable is ungrounded and ridiculous. May God enlighten you that you see the injustice of defending the killing of the innocent. Man is not God. God can and will righlty take your and my Life. You cannot take rightly another's life, whatever the means would be.

OH my god I just found this channel again! I used to watch these videos when I was super young, like 11-12, and now I'm in college. Omfg this is crazy I study religion now and I think it's because I used to watch the bible stories on this channel.
Unfortunately this video has recently become more relevant than ever before. The anti-abortion movement was never about protecting the unborn; it is about controlling women. This is just one of countless examples of how religious people pick and choose their religion's teachings that they like, and ignore the parts they dislike. @@pythondrink I don't normally reply to comments like this, but I would like to clarify that I wasn't referring to everyone who morally objects to abortion. I generally have no problem with people who instinctively feel like abortion is morally wrong or question whether or not it is, and wouldn't consider most of them part of a "movement". By anti abortion movement, I was referring to the advocacy campaign that seeks only to outlaw abortion without trying to mitigate the circumstances that lead women to seek abortions in the first place. The vast majority of people who object to abortion are not misogynistic control freaks, but many of them have been scammed by people who are.

At some point in my teenage years I'm pretty sure I was the first and only Christian Nihilist. I literally believed and argued that we (as in my denomination at the time) actually shouldn't be against abortion because those children were being automatically spared from both this life and hell.

Canonically it is nothing except "an outward sign of inward change", so to speak... If John the Baptist baptizes you in whatever sacred river that's different. Typically it's Catholics who place emphasis on sanctification at birth and believe that baptism holds power. Or, of course, poorly-read Christians.

Hell is worse than what you think (I was shaking after that experience), and Heaven is better than what you think. I have also received a personal healing miracle, I can go into details if you want. This is how God works. If you give Him the benefit of the doubt, He gives you more and more. Would I spend even 2 minutes preaching if I had an ounce of doubt? (I’ve experienced way too much)

I have some underlying health issues which can lead to premature death, so I heard about fasting can help fix many issues so I decided to give it a go by dry fasting (no food or water) I could only do it for 1-2 days a week without feeling too weak, but a few months in my heart started racing and it let weaker and weaker. When I would eat something unhealthy it would race hard.
One night it was racing hard and a tall figure in white appeared and was praying towards the picture of Jesus in my room, he said something like “please don’t let him die from a heart attack”, then soon after he disappeared and I heard the audible voice of God tell me some stuff then that voice stopped then I felt my body being lifted and life being pumped back into my heart and I was healed thank God, Jesus is God and He is very loving and a miracle worker.

Personally as an ex-muslim I would love to see more funny content about Islam. However, the stupid TH-cam algorithm and policies are not friendly with such content. The bible is a book of stories agreed upon by a bunch of old men, at various sittings - many books were not included, intentionally not included, as they didn't fit the desired narrative. Just think on this, a 32 year old man died on a cross after a few others when it usually took many days to die. He was carried at night (which Jews don't move dead people at night) to a cave. A woman who was not family, helped clean him up and then they were gone ... him and her.

2. He wasn't killed by crucifixion, he gave up the ghost when he died, meaning that it was under his control. (John 19:30) Also the soldiers impaled him to make sure he was dead.
3. He wasn't carried at night. The Jewish day starts at sunset, and since the sabbath was the day after Jesus's crucifixion, the bodies had to be off the crosses by then. Luke 23:53-56 explicitly states that Jesus was buried, then the women went back and did work, and then rested because of the sabbath, meaning that the sabbath (and by extension, nightfall) had not yet come to pass before Jesus's burial.
4. Also in Luke 23, the woman never cleaned the body, she returned and prepared the spices for when she would go back the third day.

I'm an atheist and I'm against abortion and killing innocent people in general. Life is life.
Whether it's growing inside a woman, an infant, a toddler, disabled, or elderly.
The pro-abortion stuff within atheist circles is very strange to me.
I couldn't care less about religious arguments against abortion. As an atheist, that doesn't persuade me in any way.
But I wish more people looked at abortions more objectively: the killing of an innocent, unborn child. It makes me sad.
As a child, I remember the pain my mother felt when she had a miscarriage. It certainly felt like she lost a child, and me a sibling. Heck, it was one of the things that started making me doubt the existence of a God.
Perhaps, my experience makes me biased, but I think abortions (where there is no medical emergency) is abhorrent.

Honestly, even with the "Life" standpoints, I still support abortion 100%. Objectively, when you're comparing a fully grown person to a fetus that still requires the woman's body and blood to survive and form into a person, then you're really stretching the semantics. "Life" at that point is just a technicality. Yeah, technically a fetus is a lifeform. Insects, plants, and single-cell organisms are also lifeforms too, but if they were growing inside of your body, you'd get rid of them in a heartbeat if it was effecting you in any significant way. Not to be cynical, but life and death are both just a part of life in general. You can't eliminate the concept of death from existence. You could discourage death as much as you'd like, but it is unavoidable. Personally if I were a woman I don't know if I'd ever be able to have an abortion, but I'm not gonna pretend like every woman who would be willing to have one is crazy. Bringing another human into the world is a process. Holding a lifeform in your body for 9 months is just as much a process as getting into bed and doing the deed. If a woman chooses to end the process of creating a new person after becoming pregnant, I really don't think it's as morally abhorrent as you make it out to be. A fetus (and form(s) previous to fetus) is not the same as a person. Not even the same as OTHER lifeforms. It doesn't feel pain (in a way a born human or animal does at least), it doesn't have memories, it doesn't live any kind of real life outside of what's basically a cocoon.
To get overly emotional specifically ON BEHALF OF the fetus I think is just plain silly. Now, if you're emotional on behalf of the mother, than that is understandable. Abortion could negatively impact the mother, so in many ways it's ok to not support it in your personal life. HOWEVER, not every woman is the same, and some women have various personal reasons for having abortions, they have different viewpoints, they have different perspective and can still be 100% healthy in the mind with or without abortion being a factor. That's essentially why I'm very much pro choice.

I can confirm that your dad was right. When I had my near death experience all I could "see" was my body in the hospital room I was in. All I could sense behind me was darkness. Death is just sleep. After we "die" we sleep for awhile before being reborn again. And if you know what you're doing you can have a past life regression to "find" memories that are buried deep in your soul. We are all beings of energy and energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only change form. We are all just the Universe experiencing itself.

(This chapter is also fascinating because Jephthah tries diplomacy first, and in negotiating with the King of the Ammonites, Jephthah straight-up says that their god Chemosh is every bit as real as the Lᴏʀᴅ YHWH, and has just as much authority to assign lands to his worshipers as the Lᴏʀᴅ does for his - but I digress….) Unlike with Abraham and Isaac, no angel stops Jephthah at the last moment. No alternative animal sacrifice is found trapped in a bush. The young daughter was in fact a *_human_** sacrifice* that was _accepted_ by the Lᴏʀᴅ God of Israel, who, remember, _kept His end of the deal_ *and* supposedly knew what was going to happen before it did. He could easily have caused her to trip or stumble so that one of Jephthah’s lambs or whatever got to him first.
*What is the penalty causing for an abortion? Exodus 21:22-25* (just a chapter after the most well known version of the so-called Ten Commandments) says it’s a _fine_ unless the _mother_ is harmed. The KJV and some other translations are ambiguous on this point, but many others make it plain: the “further harm” _must_ be to the _mother,_ because the _baby _*_dies_* in this scenario! Some others just say that the baby is born _prematurely,_ but think what that means: this was before we had neonatal ICUs and hyeline membrane treatments. It was before they even understood about human gestation. Heck, back then they thought that the womb was analogous to _soil_ and that the man planted his “seed” in it and a baby grew in it, with the mother contributing only the “soil” (thus the term “barren” used for an infertile woman, and even “semen” which we use to this very day is the Latin word for “seed”). Not to mention that when this Law was supposedly given, the Israelites were in a _desert_ - you know, very hot in the daytime, very cold at night, and very dry all the time - pretty much the _180° diametric opposite_ of a neonatal ICU with precision temperature control and very high humidity to keep the sensitive lungs from collapsing so much before the hyeline membrane can grow. They certainly didn’t know that the lungs (and eyes) were the last things to develop during gestation since they were useless until birth, and the hyeline membrane that keeps the æveolæ open doesn’t form until very shortly before normal full-term birth. They didn’t even know what a “trimester” was! The point is, how would they know whether a baby was premature or not? Simple: *whether it lived or died!* If it died shortly after birth, it was considered premature. If it lived for a week or so, it was considered _not_ premature. *That was how they **_defined_** it!* So there was no need to specify that the baby _dies,_ because the very fact that it was premature at all meant that it died! There was no need to specify what happens if the baby is born prematurely because of violence done to the mother, yet the baby lives, because _that scenario would never happen!_
Anyway, a fine, for (albeit accidentally) _killing_ an unborn child. This, mind you, in the _same chapter_ and just a few verses after a verse that says that if a son or daughter curses either parent, that’s a *_capital_** offense!*
*When does Personhood begin* according to the Law of the Lᴏʀᴅ God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob? At age *one month old **_after birth!_* _Seven times_ this is explicitly stated: twice _commanded_ by the Lᴏʀᴅ God of Israel Himself, in *Numbers Chapter 3* (same book as and just two chapters before where that abortifacient herbal tea as a test for marital fidelity thing that you _did_ talk about came from), *starting at verse 14.* This is about a census, a “numbering” (thus the very _name of that book itself!),_ first of the tribes of the sons of Levi who act as priests and assistants (each of the sub-tribes of the sons of Levi is numbered separately and assigned a specific task in the worship), then a second census of all of the Israelites. The other five mentions are these being carried out. In all cases, _only_ those who are aged “a month old and up” (KJV) are numbered. Why? What’s different at that age? (A similar passage is found in Deuteronomy, albeit only one census for all.)
*(EDITED TO ADD:* We’ll just ignore the whole bit about why a census was such a _good_ thing in the Book of Numbers, but later, when King David was approaching the end of his reign, he wanted to know, as a good king should, how many people he ruled so that he could best plan for their needs so he instituted a census, _that_ was considered an _extremely grievous sin_ that resulted in the deaths of thousands of Israelites due to a God-sent plague over a three-day period, and David had to buy a threshingfloor from a Jebusite and sacrifice a bunch of animals on an altar there to stop the slaughter of innocent people all because David wanted to _count_ them!
[Bonus: this story is told _twice:_ once in *Ⅱ Samuel Chapter 24* which was apparently written _before_ the Babylonian Exile, and again in *Ⅰ Chronicles Chapter 21* which was almost certainly written _during or after_ the Exile. There are minor differences, but one *_very major_* difference, between the two, yet otherwise they tell the same tale. Verse 1 of that chapter straight up says that the anger of *the Lᴏʀᴅ* was kindled against Israel, and *_He moved David against them_* to do the census thing, for which He *_fatally_*_ punished _*_thousands_* of them all because David did what *He’d tempted David to do!* Remember, in Ezekiel, the Lᴏʀᴅ straight up tells Ezekiel that *“I … create evil. And guess what this lower age limit is for the youngest range is? Yep: *“from a month old* even unto five years old.” Same as Numbers 3. Babies younger than that have *no value **_at all_* in the eyes of the Lᴏʀᴅ God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob!
So, according to the Law of the Lᴏʀᴅ, not only are the UNborn not Persons worthy of being counted in a census or being assigned monetary value, *neither are **_NEWborns!!_* He doesn’t _just_ endorse _abortion,_ but also *infanticide!* (Actually, of course, this almost certainly came about because of high infant mortality so ancient societies didn’t bother naming or otherwise getting too attached to a newborn until it’d proven that it could survive. The Hebrew calendar is lunar-based, so what they’d do is, when the baby is born, they look at the Moon at its next appearance and note the phase. You can't be honestly making this case. In Numeri 3;14 f considsering the numbering it says that male children that are 1 month and older should be counted. This is clearly talking about already born 1 month old children since there was no ultrasound or chemical test to determine the sex of an unborn child. In Exodus 21;22 there is mention of an accidental hurting of the unborn not a deliberate harming and killing in an abortion. This undeliberate harming has a penalty of money appointed. Similarily in the law if someone accidentaly killed another person he didn't get the same as a muderer.
So your whole case about God counting already born children under 1 month and the unborn as unvaluable is ungrounded and ridiculous. May God enlighten you that you see the injustice of defending the killing of the innocent. Man is not God. God can and will righlty take your and my Life. I generally have no problem with people who instinctively feel like abortion is morally wrong or question whether or not it is, and wouldn't consider most of them part of a "movement". By anti abortion movement, I was referring to the advocacy campaign that seeks only to outlaw abortion without trying to mitigate the circumstances that lead women to seek abortions in the first place. The vast majority of people who object to abortion are not misogynistic control freaks, but many of them have been scammed by people who are.

At some point in my teenage years I'm pretty sure I was the first and only Christian Nihilist. I literally believed and argued that we (as in my denomination at the time) actually shouldn't be against abortion because those children were being automatically spared from both this life and hell.

@@staceynainlab888 That's interesting considering the "default" christian belief is that baptism is a simple ritual with no power. Canonically it is nothing except "an outward sign of inward change", so to speak... If John the Baptist baptizes you in whatever sacred river that's different.
Typically it's Catholics who place emphasis on sanctification at birth and believe that baptism holds power. Or, of course, poorly-read Christians.

To have a relationship with God on earth so you can spend eternity together in Heaven. So, what pushes me away from God? Sin (lying, unforgiveness, sexual sins from lust, dishonouring parents, steeling, taking the Lord’s Name in vain etc) which leads to hell. But Jesus died on the Cross and rose from the dead to give you the ability to repent and Believe in Him as your Lord and Saviour to go to Heaven.

I also wonder that if death didn't exist before "the fall" then why do Humans have all the "bits and pieces" they have? If we didn't eat we'd run out of energy to do things and die... But before "the fall" we couldn't die, so why be "designed" to eat? Same thing with breathing...
Either those features were added after OR we had them and didn't need them OR there never was any free will because god knew we'd need those bits eventually so "the fall" was pre ordained and blaming humans for it is just absurd...
And none of that is explained in religious texts...

@@a24396 you see, those are very basic questions that any child would ask when they first hear certain passages from the bible. and what answers will they get? clearly patronising bs like "god knows" or "his ways are not our ways". it's all part of religion's pre-existing tension with curiosity and inquisitive minds.
