Hello. Thank you for your comment. Yes you are right. I think they must have regretted ending the production of the ST1300. I sold the bike you see in the video and I regret doing so. It is a wonderful bike and rides great. I might buy another one in the future.
2wheel I am thinking of buying a st 1300 jam a slow cautious rider very skilled is abs absolutely necessary? Please let me know what you think based on your experiences thank you and god bless.
Hi, sorry for the late response, some how I am nor receiving the message notifications. Well this is my second bike with ABS. The first was a BMW 650 GS. When I sold it I didn't even know the ABS was working. The buyer wanted to know so I forced myself in having it activated while riding. As you see I never found it really necessary. The same with the AST1300. I have done 5000 km on her and never had the the necessity of using the ABS. I guess it dependents on the every individual's riding. I do not ride very fast and I am normally very careful.
ABS is excellent but if you are experienced and careful, keep riding the same way. ABS could save your life if the unexpected happens but better to be careful and not get in the situation where you need it 🙂
Honda discontinued the ST1300 so they could sell more Goldwings..... they should have kept this model .....I have a 2006 and dearly love her !

Why did you sell it? What was the price you purchased and sold it for?
Maximum power is 125bhp if buying bikes in the European, British, and Australasin markets
Is there a difference between the ST1300 sold in the US and the Pan European? I’m looking at a 2006 ST1300 for sale in Las Vegas.
I don not think there is a diference. In Europe the model is called Honda Pan European ST1300.
150 kg meno della 1.1 .. Tanta roba !
Fuel tank capacity 29 liters
Tra le più pesanti del mondo ..
Da noi non si trovano passeggeri … più ..

I have a 2006 with no abs. Stops just fine. I've put many miles on it, never a problem in all conditions.
