I just got this lock after my Geeksmart lock failed (after only 2 months). So far this one is fantastic. With toddlers they tend to struggle with fingerprint scanners so the number pad is a great feature. Plus the added bonus of helping them with learning their numbers. Great review. Thank you.
You know what he didn't show us? Locking the door with the keypad or app or letting auto lock engage and then confirming the mechanism has properly locked the door. *It doesn't work right on most people's doors including mine*. It says "locked" and it remains unlocked until you aggressively slap the handle like a redheaded stepchild. I'll most likely be returning this lock. It's a shame as the features are awesome.
Thanks for watching you have to press near the handle there is an area that flexes in and it will lift opposite side at the same time. you can grab it if you go slow I hope that helps
So far so good and I have not changed the batteries yet. I am totally surprised because I use the same batteries for another smart lock that I have and it seems like every 90 days I am changing them.
I bought one Sifley device NEVER AGAIN! they are inherently dangerous, as anyone with the app was able to open my lock, even with only me programmed with an access code. The device constantly loses bluetooth connection and it spontaneously unlocks it's self, allowing access to anyone. NEVER install Sifley devices in ANY door that requires any kind of security. This company needs to be shut down for the crap they sell.
An absolute PAIN IN THE ASS to install. Then I tested it before closing the door. Worked great. Then I unlocked the back door (thank God) and closed the door. The damned thing would not activate. The keypad refused to light up. And I cannot get it to function at all. I wouldn't buy this piece of garbage.
@@cruiser_b9779 If I want to use the physical key, I'm not going to spend this sort of money on an electronic lock. I'll just buy a cheap key lock for my door. But yes, the key lock does work.

I’m glad someone finally reviewed this! I’m definitely going to pick one up!

Awesome review I’m buying one right now
Thank you for the review. I just saw this lock and wanted to know if it would meet my needs. Yes, I definitely want one.
No problem at all. In such a crowded field of door locks, I'm happy to share my experience.
Can each user have a different code and does it keep a history of who comes in and out?
Can you lock the device from the front of the keypad?
How did u remove the flap off of it I can’t at all
What happens if my door opens the other way? meaning that instead of having the handle facing right it should be facing left?
You can swap handle sides
So you have a link to the one you don’t have to charge?
How do you charge it
Nice review! How did you get the key hole cap off so effortlessly?

Came here for same issue lol
I can't get it off. I don't have the strength. When I get off, I'm leaving it off.
The cap is magnetic. Use a razor blade, pen knife, or similar pointed object to pop it off.
Very detail video, i need this info….Thankyou🥰
Thank you for checking out the video I am glad that you liked it. So far my lock is still going strong 🙂
Hi Angie
How did you pop off to put the key in?? I cannot do it, even had someone with longer nails try and nope.
The first time you have to push it out from the inside with the tool it came with
I wish i could get the key cap to come off mines 😩
Was it hard to take that thing off the first time? I can't for the life of me get it off.
Great review. I have been looking at getting a new lock, this one I think is right for my family.
STAY AWAY! these spontaneously unlock the deadbolt with no apparent input from anything. They are extremely dangerous
How do I charge This lock. Anyone knows?
Would this be a good lock for the front door ?
If you have a deadbolt I would be fine but if you do not have a deadbolt I would not use it as the main lock.
How is the lock working for you now?
So far so good and I have not changed the batteries yet. I am totally surprised because I use the same batteries for another smart lock that I have and it seems like every 90 days I am changing them.
So is this water proof and Alexa capable?
Yes to both
Thanks for replying and very good videos
How to change your password
How do I lock from the in side
It will auto lock once you are inside and you can also set time delay on the amount of time that you give it to lock.
How do you open it? Can kids open it from inside?
Is it possible to disable the voice sound?
Yes there is a lock sound section and it goes from high to off.
I can't hear this review, and I have everything turned up! :( ???
thank you
5 star review

Did you try using the physical key it comes with? If the device fails electronically, will it still open with use of the physical key?

This lock is garbage. Dont buy it
