I just realized that is also a quote that foreshadows Dead Space 2 a bit. In DS2 Ellie tells him that going to the Ishimura and all that is a bad idea, But Isaac says "Stick around, i'm full of bad ideas" lol
Since I have game pass ultimate I’m only playing the 2008 dead space. I like how in this version she actually tells you that this is a bad idea. In the original she just orders isaac to get in and kill it, as if she doesn’t care

Well... There isn't really a better idea. There's no more poison that Kendra has/can see, so getting in there to kill it is the last resort.

Use the line gun secondary fire mines and shoot it in the Leviathan's mouth as it opens. It kills it pretty damn fast, no effort st all
