    Ingredients
    1/2 cup popcorn kernels
    Cooking oil
    1 tsp turmeric powder
    1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
    1 tbsp margarine
    Method
    ~Heat the cooking oil and margarine in a large pot over medium heat.
    ~Add popcorn kernels, turmeric powder and salt to the pot and mix.
    ~When they start to pop cover the pot. This helps all the kernels reach an even temperature and pop simultaneously.
    ~When the popping slows to about 2 seconds between pops, remove the pot from heat.
    ~Serve immediately and enjoy your flavorful, healthy turmeric popcorn!
