Goolrc 3660 3s run. Will it Smoke the ESC?

- This is the GoolRc 3660 motor ESC combo 3300kv 3s run in the traxxas stampede, with some jumps smashes and crashes. I didn't hold anything back from this run. I did bust 3 teeth off of the Robinson Racing pinion gear, and was having issues with a sticky A arm.

What pinion and spur gear are you running?
I'm running a 24t pinion, with a 73t spur. Both HotRacing

I’ve had two amazon esc’s fry now from amazon. A RcRunning and a Rcharlance. They say waterproof but they wet up in smoke in wet grass. Both of the motors run strong though. I had these both in stampedes to. Good video 👊🏁
I wouldn't put them over a 35C discharge rate at 11.1v I would be asking for some trouble.
If you have something like a 60a and use 3s with a 3000kv+ motor you're asking for it to fry, get a 120a esc.

I use a 2S Venom Battery in my Rustler and it’s fast,, wheelies on command.... And it was Cheap, $35 compared to $200
That's always a plus.
I done it with a 4s and it was fine
Makes me wish I had bought the 3660 motor for my Slash! I got the 3650 3900kv motor and it's fast. But it doesn't have the torque this motor has that's for sure!
I honestly cannot complain about any part of the 3660 motor with the 60amp esc. all around tough product.

48t spure and 19t pinion gear running 3s 6200mah 100c my slash does not got that crazy power yours has to pick up a wheelie not sure if you can help out thank you…

Jw what kv do u have cuz mines is gool rc 3650 4300 kv and I’m nervous even though esc says 2-3s thanks

When I ran my Goolrc bl3650 4300kv motor on 3s, it starts suddenly smoking. Any ideas on why?
A lot of the smoke is caused by user error by a lot of time over gearing putting a lot of stress on your electronic speed control or not enough amps for the weight of the vehicle
What size 3s lipo are you running?
Goldbat 11.1V 3S 2200mah 35c discharge rating. I liked them so well that I Grabbed 2 more.

I just don't think it will last long on 3S ?? A lot of power though.
It lasted 9 months running 90% of the time 3S. I logged the whole life span. its in quite a few more of my vids check them out.

How’s the motor and esc so far? Has it got any problem or smoking?
Still holding up strong. I was just doing burnouts with it yesterday.

@@awaischaudry1502 For the battery I'm using GoldBat 3s 35c discharge rating.
@@awaischaudry1502 That could be do to many things. I can only account for the system I have. I crunched some numbers and found this system to have enough power to weight ratio for the Stampede to Not put too much stress on any of the electronics.
How is the esc holding up?
Both are still running as if I just got them new. the ESC now days only see's 3S power. I run it pretty hard on gravel in my video 4S run T-maxx on the farm, I got it back out in that video.
I could never get the diff to hold up with my 3660. Too much torque. Locked it. Works great nm the negativity

Tune up then take it to that skate park I see in the background ....lol
I have hit that skatepark in several of my vids with that stampede, I cant wait for the parks to reopen as they are all shut down right now.
How is it with a 2s
It’s pretty rapid but draw a lot of amps.
Sounds like your mesh is jammed up
I used HotRacing 48P cut gearing actually hard to jam up. Thanks for watching
What’s the top speed?
The top speed was 42 mph with no weights... it still had enough power to hop in to a backflip at that speed.

Why yes it does. she likes to fly 40 and 50 feet through the air. and she is now a rpm built truck and loves it. Have a good one.
