- In this Video Dr Irfan Ahmed Consultant Orthopaedic and Sports Physiotherapist will discuss Hip Pain Due to AVN or Avascular necrosis or osteonecrosis of Head of femur .
In AVN blood supply of head of femur is compromised which may leads towards death of head or ball of femur .
common Causes of Osteonecrosis are
1.Overdose steroids
2.Over use of alcohol
3.hip Dislocation
4.Neck of femur fracture
Disease progression is monitored througFicat 4 stage method.
Treatment
1.conservative
which may includes Pain killers ,Biphosphonates, active rest and physiotherapy
2.core decompression
3. Hip replacement

Sad that you have to undergo AVN, m too effected due to high doze of steroid in COVID time😔 difficult time.
dye to covid steroid i a also effected . and done core decompression 5 month ago
cronic pain while walking finished but . some other issues came. stiffness when stand up from bed or chair . and need 20-30 steps to cover tha stifens

سر میری ریڑھ کی ہڈی کے آ خر میں درد ہوتا تھا ذیادہ دیر کھڑی ہوجاوں تو وزنی محسوس ہوتا تھا سات سال سے مسئلہ ہورہا ہے یہ اب ٹانگ کے جوڑ میں درد شروع ہوا مجھے ایسا محسوس ہوا کہ پیٹ میں سے کوئی چیز ٹانگ کے جوڑ میں چلی گئی انگلی طرف ٹانگ کے جوڑ میں درد ہے 6 دونوں کے بعد دوسری ٹانگ کے جوڑ میں بھی درد شروع ہو گیا مجھے ایسا محسوس ہوتا ہے کہ جوڑ کھل رہے ہیں یہ کیا مسئلہ ہے کونسا ٹیسٹ کروائیں پلیز گائیڈ کیجئے گا
