Hello. In this video I am talking about the dangers of saying to an adoptee that "to you they're not adopted". Adoption parenting and adoption love. Loving an adoptee as though they're not adopted is invalidating and may lead to further complications and miscommunications.
This week is National Adoption Week in the UK.
For the first time ever, on Monday 18 October adoptees had a loud voice at PAC-UK's adoption conference. It was moving and wonderful. The voices of adoptees themselves are a vital part of moving towards a better outcome for future adoptees.
