I honestly think Yumemi is such an under-appreciated/utilized character by the Touhou fandom. She has an awesome character design and theme. PoDD had a really neat story that could be taken seriously or just for comical purposes. I mean, Yumemi and Chiyuri straight up got laughed out of the university that Yumemi works at and Chiyuri attends because they tried to say that magic exists.
and then proceed to use what i assume is some combination of temporal and dimensional travel to end up in "gensokyo" (reminder that Gensokyo as a term originated in th4) and quickly confirm that magic does exist in the touhou world
@@gypsysprite4824Touhou 4 was the first to use the term "Gensokyo" but it was just in the game's title. I imagine in universe it was already called that long before the events of the 4th game.
@@765craven4 i think their point was that Zun might not have necessarily even conceptually come up with gensokyo as we know it at the time he was making the third game.
She would probably be a lot more popular if she appeared in any of the modern touhou games rn

Strawberry Crisis remains one of my favourite, and one of the most metal PC98 themes and this confirms it.
How about "Sky God Hadouken" then?

Prof okazaki is probably an underrated character. She is rather smart and her ideas aren't bad in touhou pc98. Wish she got more details on her but o well. Her theme is still nice
It's just sad that so many of the PC-98 characters were completely dropped in the transition to Windows. I guess ZUN kind of wanted to reboot the series, but still...
