+WishMakers As far as I'm concerned though, AI in Bullet Hell was a novelty at the time PoDD was released (and probably still is!), so ZUN is technically a pioneer of it. I think the bad AI in PoDD and PoFV is justified by this fact.

This is a PC 98 Touhou game (as in really old, canon questionable touhou game). You only need to beat the computer once, the rest were... continues.
