    Dear Nikki and Rachel,
I enjoyed your spring/ summer series so much, even my pattern style is entirely different. It's always good to have a look over the fence.

Don’t want this to end... has been so great! Thanks for all the inspiration! The Burda magazines used to have a lot of patterns for leather. It’s sad that they stopped doing that. And I’ve already planned a spring trench coat, yay!

Hi sisters. Nikki, maybe you could make the burberry tench. You can buy the classic check beige fabric. 👌👍👏😁❤️.

What a great series ladies, I’ve really enjoyed it. You have done all the hard work for us sewists because if I didn’t watch this I probably wouldn’t know what the trends were. You both look gorgeous as usual. Loving the bold strong solid colours 😊😊😊😊😊

Loved the series. Has influenced my thoughts, pattern purchases and charity shop purchases. Love the direct source, ie drooling over the catwalk, very inspiring. Liked how you picked the 3 main points for all the aspects, as loads stuck in my head when I was charity shopping and shopping for patterns. And all the colours ...

Loved the series and will be watching it again! I'm a huge fan of the lavender, purple, and all shades of turquoise. I really like the Burda blazer you highlighted.

Love these seasonal trend videos. This was a bumper of a series. Thank you for all the work and enthousiasm that want into this! Now they are all I will definitely watch them again. Watched many of the runway shows myself. And pinned and downloaded the pictures of outfits I like. Still working on what I want to make. 💕

Hi Nicki. Try Manorside Fabrics for lilac leather. They have the most amazing collection in their warehouse in Redditch. They are part of Misan who have shops on the Goldhawk Road and Berwick Street. You'd have to go to the warehouse in Redditch, Worcestershire . Probably 1 hour 30 from Bristol. Hope this helps x

I love trench coats but they look awful on me probably need to go more bring with colour and shorten the length because I'm only 5ft . I did have one back in the 80s it was grey and I loved it . Definitely making jackets

This series was so much fun!! The last runway trench, is to die for!! I want to make that one with the enormous shoulder's and the high neckline! I will be on the hunt to find a coat pattern that closely resembles that-but I am thinking I will have to do some extensive alterations to a pattern, or create my own! (ugh) Love that-I would probably make it in lavender or emerald green-if I can find the pleather in those shades!!
If anyone knows of a good source for those in the USA, let me know! TY
Have a great week, and thank you for sharing with us! :+)

Love the video, but don't forget if sewing with oil cloth or leather on a domestic sewing machine a 'walking foot' is a must 😉

Love all of the fashion updates. Even though 80% is not for me, I still like to see how they stir the masses each year! I may be way behind trends, but I have a ? for the 2 of you. Lately I have purchased several pieces of double knits such as ponti, scuba, techno knits, etc. I may have missed anything you have done with this type of fabric, but would be interested in your opinions and help using it. Also, living in frigid weather in northern USA (Minnesota) sweatshirts and polar fleece is very popular. However I haven't been able to find quality sweatshirt fabric that is mostly cotton. Have you heard if it is a fabric of the past? Thanks for all you do and do feel appreciated!

I have a pattern for a unlined trench and I would like to make it waterproof. In my stash is some fabric I would like to use but it isn’t waterproof. Do you have any good tips on how to water proof fabric?

I love all these jackets but it's WAY too hot in Houston to wear anything resembling a jacket past April. Maybe a lightweight cardigan but jacket season will be at a close until December. I've loved this series!
