A few days of blue skies, lighter evenings, and daffodils can only mean one thing.. spring is on its way. A hopeful time of year as the garden starts to come alive. I don't know about you but I'm sick of the sight of my winter coats and I start dreaming of jacket weather. I know many of you are thinking I| have jumped the gun, but trust me by the time you've picked your fabric, and made your jacket spring will have sprung.

So so good. Lived every moment. Lots of Bonnie Cashin Inspired cocoon options. I searched like crazy for last fall and couldn't find....now I can. Just fabulous and I am buying a bunch of patterns even if I don't make them- they are classic updated treasures. One of the best Fold Line Videos EVER. Thank you for the outstanding research 👍🙌🙌👍😊

It was fun going through the catalog of available jacket patterns. My 2 favs were the Friday pattern co. Ilford jacket, and the Modern sewing company, Darcy Coat. Looking forward to plowing ahead because my fabric and pattern reserves are growing exponentially and I need to reduce the piles around here. Thanks as always. I enjoy the posts!

I love long and thorough videos and wish more people on TH-cam would make them! (Although I know one must please the algorithm etc etc) Also I could listen to Kate talk about literally anything and it would still be interesting and soothing. I find the Fold Line videos to be great company when sewing.

Really enjoyed the selections and inspiration, though I would’ve loved seeing some duster styles/lightweight styles like the Sew Liberated Lichen (which I’ve finally bought). Always enjoy the videos ❤

I feel like bouclé jackets are popping up all over the place for spring. Would love some pattern recommendations for that classic jacket shape.

Great video.. we are in autumn here in Australia and I want to make a coat but so hard to decide which one! I like the hunter by fiber mood but the wool/blends aren't good for dog hair 😂

Bulbs coming up in February? Wow! Still solidly winter hear in Michigan u.s. We don’t see bulbs before late April, early May.
The crocuses and irises are up in my garden. It's so nice to see the spring colours popping up!
One jacket reminded me of a Christmas present I received about 1981. Track suits were the new trend, and this gift was a baby blue color of satiny fabric. I'm new to your channel. In your videos, have you discussed shoulder pads as a topic? Thank you for your enthusiastic overviews of sewing patterns!

Discussed that loads now seem to be pdf ,I’m 80 years old so not very tec savvy plus to have to have them printed which is more expense ,so come on designers in this day and age let’s have both
It’s a HUGE financial undertaking stocking paper patterns for indie designers that is why many haven’t done it 👍🏻
Love the Nancy blazer but do you only get one size for the pattern?
Some of Vikisews patterns do come in single sizes, but if you drop an email to hello@thefoldline.com with the sizes you were interested in we can see what we can do!
