Glad I found this Channel! I'm 48 ... 380 Pounds ... and just down the road in Monument, CO! Only on Day 3 ... got quite a few aches and pains, basically detoxing ... but ready to keep moving forward! Appreciate the videos and motivation!
The beginning is the hardest part (My video that I uploaded today I talk about this) Just keep your mind focused on your mission and try not to think about when the next cheat meal or cheat day is coming just focus on getting consistent with deit and exercise... What diet are you doing? Nice!! Lots of fitness opportunities and the bonus of training at altitude here in CO!!
@@milehighfatguy Workouts ... I'm just trying to be up and moving over the next 8 weeks! Hopefully the dieting will get rid of some inflammation before I start working out again. Diet ... My only rules for the last 3 days have been Water Only ( drinks are my biggest weakness ... I always have an Energy Drink or Gatorade in my hand ) and Zero Candy ( my cheap sugar fix but I don't even like it that much ) I am open to switching to Keto or Carnivore after that. Basically, over the next 8 weeks, just want to be in less pain ... then gauge a fitting workout and diet plan.
Just go with a sugar free energy drink or a sugar free Gatorade, it took me a minute to get use to sugar free soda but when I do drink it, it’s guilt free!
@@jeffreycampbell828 Thanks bro I really appreciate you watching! I feel like I need to share more long format content like this. So I appreciate the feedback!
Cool video man. Do you notice the excess chest skin gradually tightening up after that first year or is this just the damage we have to deal with now? In a similar boat, halfway down the river 🤘
@@2Anut great question!! I have many thoughts on this. I have some loose skin but I did try things and still do to try and see if I can reduce it. I will absolutely make a video discussing this!
Great question. Yes and No… this will be a topic of an upcoming video because we are going to be trying a different strategy for her and documenting her progress.
This just my opinion… but based on what I have researched about the low carb diet is that by eliminating carbs and sugar you are forcing your body to use fat for fuel vs carbs and sugar. So theoretically if you’re in a state of ketosis your body is burning fat because there is no other fuel source to burn even when you are doing no physical activity at the time. But I do associate weight loss with working out as well, so at the end of the day it’s an experiment on your body so it takes a little bit to get dialed in.
No I did not, I need to research more about it. It might be something worth trying. Everyone responds differently to many different diets so it is a good idea to look at as many as you can.
@@andysampson8687 I didn’t really overthink Macros but I really kept the carb count as low as possible. I literally ate mostly eggs, meat, sausage, cheese and my main carbs was a side at dinner like broccoli or cauliflower rice. I will make a video breaking this down and going into more detail soon!

👍 is your wife doing keto too?

Do you think its mostly the calories being reduced from no breads, the exercise, or cutting out all the preservatives and chemicals?, or combination?

Did you ever try omad instead of 2 meals?

How many carbs did you limit yourself to?
